Yoooo thank you for this video, really appreciate it. I have a question for you, what about creasing on the back of the shoes at the top of the heel box? I just got the AJ1 high Stage Haze and they’re creasing like crazy at the back after wearing them once. I’m size 13 like you as well. Just how it goes? Or is there anything I can do about it? Thanks brother.
Best way is not to care and embrace the crease! Shows character and most important shows you wear your sneakers. My opinion, no hate, and just love. Not sure why people care about a leather sneaker creasing. But hey that's just me.
I feel you. Once I rock a shoe I know there’s no going back. Lol Some people just want to keep that value up and the creases can be a big factor sometimes for resell.
I'm the same...to the point where I am going wild camping in damp weather tonight in my brand new pair of Jordan 1 Mids because I don't like wearing bright shiny new trainers and i wanna dirty them up a bit.
Tips to help fight creasing: • Get your real true size, when you’re wearing them there will be less space around the toe helping the shoe bend more natural with your foot. • Shoe trees are essential, they help shape your shoes for the long run, especially if you wear them often. Invest in some if it matters to you. My last tip would be to not care. Unless you are trying to preserve the shoes value, creasing is awesome. It shows character, it shows your shoe gets love. If you’re trying to preserve your sneakers value, don’t wear them. Keeping a shoe dead stock is the best option in that scenario. Welcome to the sneaker world!
I normally get a 8.5 so it could last longer but my true size is 8 and I got some Jordan 3s and your tip actually helped my Jordan’s get far less creases than my 4s
I use the toe shields sold at footlocker, like the ones in the video, and they prevent creases very well. Highly recommend them especially for the price. If you have multiple shoes just get two and rotate them between the sneakers when you want to wear them. They make the shoes fit slightly smaller but with the added bonus of the toe box feeling softer and more padded it really doesn’t affect comfort.
I used to worry about creases. But overtime I’ve learned I want to give my shoes some character. Only reason I’d ever worry about a crease if it was a display piece
As a middle school teacher, I had students walk sloooowly without bending their knees, be late for class, then walk around the room in socks, all so their shoes wouldn’t crease 😅🤣
DNA SHOW I can baraley find a pair of air forces in size 13 and i have like a size 11 but my foot is so wide I need a 13 but I couldn't find a pair of air forces
I like my shoes with their little creases no biggie to me, the shoes are just adjusting to my feet. I’m here to see how easily jordan 1s crease. I’ve seen my 5s crease on the side in 1 day! Lol I’m not tripping though
I just stuff my shoes with extra socks until I can't feel my feet and lose all blood circulation; I be passing out from lack of blood flow, BUT BET I LOOK GOOD WHILE IM DOIN IT!
With creases I love it on leather, absolutely one of the reasons I love the 1-4s. But with shorter suede and nubuck creases just look bad, but I don’t really care about creasing anymore.
Gorest Fump so if you youse tissues they don't crease at all? i was thinking of buying jordan retro UNC patent.... but the shoe is leather and i don't wanna waste money if it gets vreases easily
I remember back in the day you weren’t cool in school if your shoes were creased. Good times 😂 I prefer creases on most retros anyways especially 1’s and 3’s
Plastic bags are really good they take the shape of your foot and keeps the shoes from the creasing if you double or triple them up like the regular bags that u get at a Bodega or the Chinese food places (obviously don't use those if you can smell the food lmao) they work great they mold up to your feet and the top of the shoe shape
Just for some people since they don't understand kinda this is from my POV i think some people worry about creasing cause the shoes are expensive and isn't something you can buy a shit ton off so it makes sense they don't want to damage it plus over time you just stop worrying about damaging them it's only for like the first month or so lol
I like this alot more than other videos abt this topic dude to the fact that most people ALREADY can just grab napkins/paper towels in the other room instead of buying something just for that one thing.
After going grocery shopping I save the plastic bags. I take about 3-4 bags and ball them up and stuff the toes of each shoe. This seems to work perfectly.
OMG!!! I was coming to say the same!!! 👟 those were the days...I just ordered the plastic pieces that go in for my daughter who looked at me crazy when I mentioned the bags! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Dude, the paper towel is the new version of the newspaper filled shoes. I like the paper towel one more, but the newspaper one is eaven cheaper. The main advantage of paper/newpaper is that is sucks up the sweat and moisture of the inside and the smells aswell. I would recomend a soft greesy cream, eaven normal facial cream or suncream, to rubb on to the outside of the sneakers to constantly feed the leather from getting dry and curl up with time. This will keep them nice an shiny in time, away from cracking curling or deforming as much. Thanks for the video ;)
I just use wood shoe trees. But to be honest, if they crease, they crease. It's just a fact that I accept and so I can walk comfortably and not stress over it too much.
Got my first pair of Air forces, I got crease protectors but they make the shoe uncomfortable. I’m just gonna wear them and enjoy them now I don’t care 😂
Sometimes I use sofsole insoles, they make for a lil bit tighter of a fit but it hella helps with creasing!! & definitely doesn't turn ur toes blue lol
Love the comment section, I got some good laughs. I just bought my first Cortez shoes and I saw this guy with a bunch of creases and they were dirty and beat up. what colorway did you bought? And how is it going with the creases?
I just buy half a size smaller to minimize creases! And when i don’t wear them i stuff a ball of socks towards the toes. Works like a charm.
Its hard to imagine some one with as much heat as you had a hard time getting your size in the 2015 chicago 1s
Yea it was a major struggle. And it’s funny because people don’t realize how limited size 13 is when it comes to production.
DNA SHOW I can baraley find a pair of air forces in size 13 and i have like a size 11 but my foot is so wide I need a 13 but I couldn't find a pair of air forces
