Looks great! My stock I am able to get 1.6litre/100km. Mind you, its mostly cruising the back roads…and also a lot of patiently riding to keep the Mrs in sight on her Ruckus!🤭
A good review. Any motor mods planned? I guess the first things are usually Intake and ECU re-flash, right? It seems like the lake is bottomless there!
Thanks! The only motor mod at the moment is the intake (th-cam.com/video/GJWvHy_UEW8/w-d-xo.html). ECU flash is on the list of future mods, especially with the improved performance with the intake and this exhaust.
Even tuned rich with a chimera intake and yoshi full pipe i still average about 120mpg - + 5mpg although stock my 2022 got 200mpg blown away by that ive never seen that from any other grom
I ordered it dofectly from tyga too feb 27th but my order is still pending . I ve emailed tyga several times butbi cant get a response. Does your paperwork have a phone number that i can call? Thanks for responding
I’d say yes, fuel consumption will increase as power increases. With the intake mods and a free flowing exhaust, the engine now breathes better and the ECU is putting in more fuel. This is where the power increase comes from. Therefore, it’s difficult to make more power and keep fuel consumption low.
No as the kit comes with a bracket extension to move the reservoir and line. It’s not a big move but significant enough for zero issues, even on long rides.
Excellent quality, and a great sound. Without a dyno it’s difficult to test true performance but I felt a good difference when combined with the intake mods. I highly recommend it.
The ECU has maps it choses based on sensor readings. It also has trims of the parameters in a map, so it can best adapt. The map and trim is adjusted as you ride and not selected instantly meaning it will adapt slowly as you ride. With major changes like intake and exhaust, it will take a while for the ECU to best adapt and will be “caught up” with the mods.
That's ECU reprogramming. They are changing the maps to give better performance and target the mods they have made. The stock ECU is mapped around great fuel mileage, but performance often sacrifices fuel mileage. It's about balancing personal priorities.
It was an amazingly simple install. My initial plan was to trial fit it and then do an install video, but the trial went so quick and easy that I didn’t see the point of an install video. Just a couple of screws, align everything and tighten. That boring 😂

Where to purchase this tyga high mount exhaust. Can you please post the link to where you bought this? Thank you
I ordered directly from Tyga. Shipping was reasonable and very quick.

That's a shame it messes up the gas mileage. Looks nice. Do all aftermarket exhausts mess up the gas mileage?

Have you had any issues with the rear brake line running that close to the exhaust

I recently purchased a new Honda Grom and I cant find whe
Have you heard a Yoshi? Is the Tyga quieter?
The Yoshimura high mount exaust was not available when I got the Tyga. I can't compare the sound, the Tyga is not overly loud though.
@@RC-Engineeringstill happy with the Tyga? I’m thinking about placing the order

What do you mean by “let the mapping catch up”?
Great quality video by the way!

Ok I see. I’ve heard of people tuning it using the ecu. So is that just because they want instant adjustments?

Nothing to show for the install? Blah

@@RC-Engineering Yeah I get it. I was a bit curious about that upper bracket. It's a nice look though.
