Hi I have purchased a Tascam 12, I’m new to the music Business. I have been watching your videos, and appreciate the Knowledge you are Sharing on you tube. I have made my first recording on the Tascam, from my mac using you tube. Please can you help I would like to do a mix down just using the Tascam 12. Not sure do I have to record again to be in mix mode using the faders and EQ. Also I have a amplifier can I connect it to the Tascam ? it has phono connections at the back, I’m guessing I will need to get a phono lead with a jack lead to conect the Tascam, not sure which lead, TRS to phono, please can you help and explain where I should plug in lead to the Tascam. Glad I could help. There are two ways to do a mixdown on the Model 12. 1, depending on your choice of DAW, if it allows to have multiple outputs, to sent each track/bus back to Model 12 channels. Ten record the Main Mix of Model 12 back into the DAW. 2, copy all the track stems onto the Model 12 MTR and mixdown to Stereo Export on the Model 12.
@@RecordingStudio9 I would be very interested in seeing that. Substantial aliasing would be the main thing that would drive me to buy a Model 16 instead of a 12.

Bro, how did u link the Tascam and Bertom audio's eq analizer... i cant seem to find this on ableton.

my fx are stuck in n/a please help.
Have you tried hard reset? While off, press and hold the jog wheel, turn on the unit.
@@RecordingStudio9 gound out if you are plugged into aux2 it turns off fx.
I would love to see if there’s aliasing on the compressor
Something I may plan to test. Not sure if the firmware in the unit uses oversampling or not.
