This is the kind of content I wish ESPN & Co. would deliver for this years rookie QB class. Instead all we get is bullshit, stereotypes and race-baiting debates about whether or not the black QB from Ohio State is being racially profiled as a low character guy. It just sucks. I want to know what these players are capable of throwing the football.
100% agree with you, ESPN click baits everybody and it’s a perfect example of why guys like me get a decent amount of views but I think in the long run have potential to be bigger. Like Pat McAfee for example, the dude kills ESPN with ratings everyday because it’s real authentic content rather than BS analysts
Great video. I've always been interested in studying throwing mechanics. Check out Jimmy g's 4(or3) games when he started in place of Brady. Great footwork there and now with San Francisco it's horrible.
Amazing video, I was like why was I not throwing as far, etc. As I used my shoulder, I threw it 54 yards. So, thanks. See my TH-cam video if you want hear more.
Very good breakdown...when you separate back with the throwing arm do you want to let the upper body twist back as the lower body drives forward? I noticed that with Brady he does that a bit. Also do you want to keep your arm in alignment with the shoulder when you backstroke or is it ok to allow some thoracic extension to get a stretch reflex kinda of like Kyle Allen does or would that slow the upper body down too much? I was watching performance lab of California’s breakdown of Kyle Allen and he seems he does that if you get a chance please check it out and let me know what you think...it reminds me of swinging a baseball bat
MC Adams yeah no I l don’t think it’s an issue with what Kyle Allen does. I think everybody throws different but the key things they all have in common is the torque and upper/lower half disassociation. Brady does twist back almost and that’s what I want from my QBs is to do that. I think that can create a lot of rotational force
@@firstdowntraining I find it does too, it feels like you get such a great amount of tension built up, but wasnt sure if it would slow the arm down and cause the arm to be dragged a bit. Thank you for your in depth response!
Tom Brady has definitely the cleanest and most textbook throwing motion EVER.
Excellent breakdown.
Lucky Eddy 100% agree I think Brees is a close second too. I appreciate it man!
And Roggers?
@@zerstorerzerstorer not a fan. Heavily overrated. Plays his own game in a team sport.
Thank you! This really covers the small details which many of us overlook. Awesome video!
DG 1 no problem, glad it gave you a lot of value! Thank you 🙏

David Hunter no problem at all glad it helps you!
Around 3:40: The thumb is perpendicular, not parallel, to the ground.

rapidashing frog appreciate it man 💯
He doesnt have Tom Brady constantly helping Jimmy G keep his form in check anymore.
Really love this video great breakdown
Appreciate you man glad it gave you some value ✅
i actually learned quite a bit
Trey Moody glad you hear! Appreciate the comment and glad this taught you a few things
Warren Moon always threw his lead arm out instead of keeping it tight
The_Ace_Of_Spades _ great QB but he’s not even close to the passer Tom Brady has been. Plus the game has evolved hasn’t always been this way
Can you break down trey Lance? There's been a lot of talk around his motion
Yessir appreciate the feedback
Yeah that would be great. But I dunno if there are clear good videos like this tom brady one to break down for trey

Amazing!! The NFL Made a video about why that arm must get yo tour face but I can't find it. It's supposed to be an anchor or sonething like that
Juan Carlos Jean Arenas I will definitely check it out! Thanks for the comment
When I’m at 90 degrees I bring my back hip through and the point of the ball is straight up like I’m throwing a deep ball. How do I fix his?
Bring your hips through before you get to 90, so when you start your backstroke that’s when you want to start bringing your hips through
Butter
NFL2K is studying all of this.
As a baseball player. This is surprisingly like a baseball swing lol
Oh it’s exactly like it

First Down Training yes
