I’m a baseball player I can throw a football pretty far and accurate but I never could get a good spiral most of the time.I never knew this about football proper throwing mechanics it’s pretty cool.

joao vitor sg “You can’t be accurate without proper mechanics” Aaron Rodgers: “ Hold my passes falling down right into recievers hands into tight-tight coverage”
The Executor where? Athletic as can run faster maybe. But if you’re new to football go watch Rodgers highlights buddy. I guarantee you there will be some throws mahomes will never make because he’s never been tested with actual coverage. Yeah he’s thrown into tight windows like a couple of kelces TDs but that isn’t tight coverage. And if he did throw into tight coverage I guarantee you he has perfect form and not falling to the ground or having his shoulder pads pulled or any of that stuff. Mahomes runs faster, that’s all he gots on Rodgers. Literally. If you watch packers interviews they will tell you publicly even before mahomes was a starter that he throws no look passes in practice but he just hasn’t tried one in an actual game. The super man throw against the Titans? In reality he jumped because he didn’t want to be injured and if you don’t see that you’re stupid. Not to mention he literally was able to use ALL this force. Rodgers has done that and thrown over the shoulders in tight covered recievers 😂🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️is like to see one thing Rodgers can’t do that mahomes has done. Show me, please🙏🏽
The Executor and you probably think that just because he had 50 TDs last year😂. Go watch his highlights and tell your self if that was a hard throw or he was wide open. I guarantee you you’re gonna get so used to saying wide open you won’t even remember what u were doing. Rodgers when he had those kind of recievers and play calling had 45 TDS and only 6 INT. this isn’t even to mention he didn’t play about 3 total last quarters and 1 full game.
The Executor oh YEAH and I forgot to mention, when you watch mahomes 50 TD passes I want you to also look out for how many recievers were underthrown and had to wait for the football, and also notice that in those plays mahomes had all his throwing motion available to throw it. But when Rodgers makes them wait he’s usually falling down or on the (fast) run
Beanos stfu moron it works perfectly, especially since that guys thumbnail is Micheal Scott, who say as that joke all the time regardless of whether it works or not. It’s a joke within a joke that you obviously don’t get
Why does the receiver catch the ball like that I’m a wide receiver myself and I would never catch it like that and he’s just trying not to catch it when they throw a wobbly throw
I’m an 8th grader and new to foot ball I want to join a team but I don’t even know how to throw a foot ball I’ve seen multiple videos and this is the only one that explains it good now I can throw thanks
I injured my shoulder by throwing a couple of years ago. Now it still hurts when I try to throw or even playing other sports like tennis or just working out. I guess it happened to me because I was doing it the wrong way tho my spiral was pretty good but maybe it was because I didn't recieve any professional training.
There's something very satisfying in throwing a football I gotta admit. I never threw a football before but for some reason I bought one tried it out. I thought it's thrown like a basketball but the art of holding, throwing and releasing the football is a art and it's hard to master but once you understand how it's done it's just so much fun throwing the football
The Key what separates the greats from the averages is rotational force, the coach in this Video is a pure linear thrower. Rodgers, Stafford, Brady.. the best technicians stay back, creating torgue, being in balance. Left arm tight to the body, full extention of the arm at throwing release, level shoulders. Coach swings open with his left arm, which looses him a lot of rotational power. Also, he is ending his motion solely in his left foot, weight fully transferred, he has to get his left arm out because hes not in balance. It is still a good video to explain the fundamentals of the Spiral though :)
The release point is important to. It should be above your head rather than beside your ear. To create a tight spiral, one should have a good follow through as well.. with the throwing hands thumb finishing by the opposite legs "pocket". But it all starts wit stepping into your throw (lead leg). & That's not even all of it.. there's so much that goes into throwing a football, it's crazy.
Hop off the bandwagon of bashing Kirk you fake fan. He’s set multiple records over a 3-game period, is in the mvp conversation, won offensive player of the week for nfc, and the chiefs loss isn’t even his fault. Stfu and look at the stats before you hop on the bandwagon
What you have to do is make sure that on the drop, the ball lands on the right side of your foot, if you are right footed, and make sure you drive up nice and fast, you might have to practice it a few times.
