A great walk that, I remember doing it a couple of years ago, the most enjoyable walk I did.I was partially paralysed when I did it, now worse and can't get into the hills anymore, it's going to be a nightmare seeing everyone back up the hills, knowing I can't do it anymore, but at the same time I will enjoy watching others enjoy themselves,it will bring back a great deal of fantastic memories, thank you very much for putting this lovely film up.
Colin, glad you enjoyed our trip and its great you can take some memory recall from our experiences. Always happy for you to tag along. Cheers, Charlie.
Hiya charlie great to see you back after the long layoff, brilliant judgement to do the walk early doors and blessed with good weather, it's a fantastic area for walking, enjoyed your video clip as ever can't wait for your next clip. Phil
Hi Philip, early was certainly the trick.... we didn't expect it to be so good so it was a surprise when we got up to height. Great to be back.... Cheers, Charlie.
Brilliant Charlie great walk and views to match i wish i done the same as you two by retracing the route as the day i was there that return path was boggy as hell. I see a lot of work has been going on with the path up to Carn Liath looks good :) Good to see you two back at it again and keeping well, peter :))
Hi Peter, After waiting for so long to get out we thought the weather was going to put a dampener on the occasion but the decision to going early paid off..... we're not normally that lucky. A lot of path work going on in this area which means that bog and wet feet are a thing of the past.... great area. Cheers, Charlie.
Great to see you guys up in the hills again...4am is hardcore though...I saw you on Broad Cairn last year on my way down the hill and you guys were heading up..ATB ..Mike
Hi Mike, We were really glad just to be out after the enforced break but had to adjust the start time to match the potential weather window which fortunately worked out fine. Take care, Charlie.
Hi Alistair, You'll certainly be keen to escape after your extended shifts. Hopefully, they will pass quickly and your off period coincides with settled weather. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi James, We were pretty surprised at the settled weather early doors and had expected a soaking at some point. We're not normally as luck as that. Cheers, Charlie.
Brilliant weather Charlie! I am jealous! Love those hills, absolutely great day out. Wish I'd gone back the same way as yourselves though, the route back down via the track is a bit of a slog lol. Great video! Cheers. Kris.
Hi Kris, We had little confidence when setting out from home but were keen to take advantage of the lockdown release. It couldn't have worked out any better with a cracking morning and back in the house before noon. Fingers crossed the weather starts to feel a bit more like summer over the next few weeks and gives us options to travel a bit further. Cheers, Charlie
Hi Paul, You'll certainly enjoy this grouping I'm sure. They are even better in winter where you can have a great day of any length due to the path network. Cheers, Charlie.
Wow......stunning video Charlie.Definitely paid off starting early for the weather that was to come with inversions and Brockens.I stayed local and done The Brack at Ardgarten starting at 8.30 and the rain was on for the rest of the day at 9.15.My friend was doing Carn Laith yesterday so i'll send him the link to show him the early views you guys got, lol.Great video again.
Hi Andy O, The day needed an early start otherwise it was wet and mist. We didn't expect it to be so good which was a bonus and back home in time for lunch :). Cheers, Charlie.
I'm just a tad jealous Charlie, you nailed it mate. 👌🏼Your fitness mustn't be too bad to polish the 3 off and back over them again. 😁 The new path work is excellent.
Hi Robin, Fitness wasn't too bad but we had tried to keep things going through the lockdown. Knees we not happy but that's the norm. I didn't have a lot of enthusiasm when Mike suggested the return route but glad we did as it all helps to get things in gear for the remainder of the year. Cheers, Charlie.
6.25 hours is an excellent time for those three munros. There is a fair bit of height loss and regain between each one, and it is a good distance to the highest (and furthest) one.
Hi Larry, The expectant weather had us chasing on a bit and it turned out to be about right as the rain started about 10mins from the car. We passed a lot of walkers around Carn Liath that wouldn't have had the same experience as ourselves. Great to be back. Cheers, Charlie.
Good to see you back on the hills again. You captured well the lovely morning light that goes well with the layer of alto-cumulous cloud above the first summit. You can never trust a weather forecaster can you ? :-)
Hi Ian, We had a good idea the weather window was going to be tight but were pleasantly surprised with quite how settled it was early morning. Great to be back. Cheers, Charlie.
Another great video Charlie, looking forward to doing this walk very soon! Glen Tilt looks amazing. Mark.
Hi Mark, Fingers crossed for a super weather day as I'm sure you'll enjoy Beinn a' Ghlo.... have a good one. Cheers, Charlie.

Over the moon to see you broadcasting again.
Top notch!
Kris, Just great being out on the tops again, although the weather patterns aren't helping with the plans for getting further north. Cheers, Charlie.

Well done you two, good to see current conditions.
Won't get out for around 10 days as I've got a long run of shifts to do.
But this'll do for now.
Hi Alistair, You'll certainly be keen to escape after your extended shifts. Hopefully, they will pass quickly and your off period coincides with settled weather. Cheers, Charlie.
Wow I did not expect to see that on Saturday! Well worth the early start, top effort!
Hi James, We were pretty surprised at the settled weather early doors and had expected a soaking at some point. We're not normally as luck as that. Cheers, Charlie.

Braigh CoireChruinn-bhalgain is about the longest name of a Munro.
Well narrated, as usual. Thanks.
Geoffrey, Its a real tongue twister.... generally call munro No. 2 just to keep it simple. :) Cheers, Charlie.

Nice one Charlie, i see the path has been re-stored a bit since i was last up there a few years ago...looked great, nice inversion ..ATB Stevie
Hi Stevie, The path on Carn Laith is superb and virtually takes you all the way. That's the benefit of being in the national park. Cheers, Charlie.
I'm just a tad jealous Charlie, you nailed it mate. 👌🏼Your fitness mustn't be too bad to polish the 3 off and back over them again. 😁

@@charliemccartney7055 definitely, a good one to get under the belt.
6.25 hours is an excellent time for those three munros. There is a fair bit of height loss and regain between each one, and it is a good distance to the highest (and furthest) one.
Hi Adam, The weather window had us chasing on a bit, plus the thrill of getting out after the lockdown. Cheers, Charlie.
Nice one Charlie 👍 cannae beat an inversion.
Hi Kevin, It was a stunning day with the cloud hanging around a bit longer than normal. Super stuff... .Cheers, Charlie.
six and a half hours Wow! you guys dont hang around .Nice choice avoiding clag on way back 😀
