    Love how you do it. I do it similar. P23 is clocked by pams. Loopers are locked like yours by the 0.25 clock divider. Everything fine while doing the beat. Problem is when I stop it and want to start it again it’s most of the time out of sync even if I press the reset button. After some reset hits it gets back in sync but I can’t figure out how to do this reliably. How do you do it?

    • @Kypski
      @Kypski  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have you patched in a click? Its easy to do on the pulsar. Of course the green tempo flashing light is a visual click but that doesn't do the trick. i always have an (for me) audible click/metronome patched as well by just patching a quarter note pulse from the divider to an attenuator and then patching that attenuator to Pulsar's MIX IN. Use this click to keep everything tight & locked.

      @@Kypski Thanks so much for your answer. I already tried the metronome and it doesn't help. I made a video about the problem and will also ask soma for help/support. th-cam.com/video/JvdSjn5u_78/w-d-xo.html

      @@nthirteen maybe the issue is with pams, and not with the pulsar

      @@Kypski Tried different clocks. Soma said its normal behaviour. I came around by 'tapping' in the right start with the reset button and an eye on the green light. Works okish. Thanks for your help. Would love t discuss this in a room with you and a beer. Cheers. I owe you one.

    Looks like we’re doing a lot of the same stuff! 😎 I am multi track recording the livestreams now and it’s so good to be able to send your metronome wherever you want. 🤙🏼🤙🏼 Live drumming all day, never quantized!

    • @Kypski
      @Kypski  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes and also - even if you WOULD want to quantize you're probably still not going to be using the quantize function because then you're probably hooking up your MIDI gear to play the pulsar, using its LRN buttons.

    I agree - I love the unquantized beats - Nicely done

    So besides Pamela's, which Euro racks are you using for the bass melody? Thanks

    • @Kypski
      @Kypski  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s Turing Machine from Thonk going thru a quantizer. Pam’s is only sending clock for syncing purpose.

    Very good, I got my Pulsar short for last Christmas from Russia after 6 month an a lot of additional Zoll taxes on top (360€) and I included it in my Setup with the OT as the centerpiece, a Virus Ti Polar and a Minibrute 2S. It s a real good fun to drive it. So far I do not use the individual outputs

    • @Kypski
      @Kypski  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ulgh thats a lot of tax money! Still worth every penny though. The individual outs sound much cleaner and tidyer in my opinion.

    Hi
    Love your video’s
    Can you record each channel separately on this or does it only have one main output ?
    Thanks !

    Hey your set up and sounds are killer! is there anyway you can do a short tutorial on how to route the click track out?.

    • @Kypski
      @Kypski  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s very easy: just patch a clockdivider pin to a eurorack converter pin, and patch that into your mixer or audio input.
