    I know it's a narrow answer, but Stifle effects are great against Storm since you can counter the Storm trigger.

      Oooh! I totally missed that! I rarely use Stifle effects, but that's another great way to combat it.

      Storm triggers the moment it's cast meaning you would have to counter every individual copy one at a time.

    This was the best explanation video for Storm, with great quality, content, and examples. Only thing I'd suggest changing is that thumbnail, since I almost avoided the video based on the thumbnail looking very low effort compared the the wonderful video. Either way, you definitely earned a sub

    This popped up in my feed today, and just wanted to say thank you for making this and your other videos. I've been playing off and on over the past 5 years, mostly EDH, and still don't understand how half of these things work (and some of the terms used). Nice to have storm explained in a quick video!

      Thank you for watching~! I come from the same place and try to research and learn as much as I can about these concepts to better understand MTG as a whole and I'm glad someone else has learned from it as well

    I wish your videos were around years ago when I got into the game! The production value is lovely, and the information is digestible and well-explained! Keep up the awesome work 😊😊

    I know storm is ridiculously broken but it's probably my favourite mechanic. It's so much fun lol

    Hope u make a video for dredge or cascade

      While it's not *exactly* the same, I did do a video about manaless dredge available here : th-cam.com/video/K2VzcKZjfbk/w-d-xo.html&t
      It would probably be worth doing a video about Living End or Cascade though, thanks for the suggestions!

    Oh come on dredge isn’t that broken it’s not like it can win on turn two and make it very difficult to permanently remove a threat..... oh wait.

    Y'all ever storm a mind's desire into a grapeshot in edh. Dumbest luck I ever had

    Do you have to pay the mana for the copies?

    • @mtgexplainers
      @mtgexplainers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope! They just get put onto the stack without having to pay for them

    Enter the Battlefield doesn't show up on this list. It's what all the newer players use to play this game. Long paragraphs and lots of shuffling has slowed MTG down to a crawl.
