Thank you for the kind words and the follow! Your videos have been such a huge inspiration for me and I'm so flattered you even watched. When I saw the notifications, I thought there was glitch or something!
Oh my gosh, thank you SO much, I'm so flattered! My husband and I are BIG fan of your creative deck brewing content and Ziggy as well. Thank you so much!
Great vid! I love it! I think you should slow down a bit on some of the cards though. Or find an alternate way of conveying what they do. Like I wasnt familiar with what lotlet giant did, and wasn't able to read the whole box in time before it got "played", so I had to pause the video and go back to read it, which wasn't ideal. I get that you don't want to slow down the pace too much for those who are familiar with the cards, so this is an interesting conundrum.
Thank you for the thoughtful and well-put comment! I struggled with that exact concept (Speed/excitement vs understanding/reliability) and maybe erred too close on the side of speed. I'll try to slow it down in the future. Thanks again!
Wonderful channel. Reminds me a lot of rhystic study with more of a focus on the game itself over the art/style of the game. Awesome stuff and keep it up.
I mostly play standers and recently started pioneer. I'm mostly unfamiliar with the older cards and am fascinated by the different combos you can do with them.
This was very well explained, as someone who is slowly assembling this deck. I especially like how you talk about how it matches up against other decks in the format, and why the deck works the way it does.
As a new player to legacy and looking to build a new budget deck after burn, I was looking at the deck and trying to figure out how this deck work. Thanks to this video I found another deck to play, thank you so much!
Great question! You don’t lose the game for having an empty library, you only lose when you would go to draw a card and don’t have any. Technically, you’re still able to play with an empty library until you would have to draw a card. Check out the other video I did on Thassa’s Oracle for more info. Hope that helps!
It's wild, right? People have just brewed up a new version called oops all spells! www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/modern-oops-all-spells#paper Lantern Control is such a wild deck also. I can't believe someone took a bunch of commons / uncommons and was able to grind a game to halt
The problem is, u didn't explain u can hold priority for the phantasmagorian ability, this way, u can discard more cards than usual.
That's totally true! Putting more stuff in the graveyard is always a good thing for Dredge. I'll pin your comment!
Glad to see this pinned, its one of the most important things to understand when piloting dredge.
Fantastic work, amazing and engaging video! A+

This is how I found the video. Great find Dev, and thanks for sharing it.

Thanks! He's definitely a huge inspiration for me
This was a real great video, with clear, concise explanation, and is now something I might look at.
You've done an excellent job at editing this video. I wish I was half as good!
Damn this channel deserves way more subscribers

I love the turn timeline on the top
Thanks for making this. Super clear explanation!
Really neat stuff. Keep up the good work man
Dude, your video was really well made, nice 👌
Man just want to let you know. I got top eight at my LGS. Thank you so much man !!!!
Woooooah, that's so cool, thank you for sharing! I'm so glad you were able to have success :)
@@mtgexplainers Manaless dredge is so much fun. And very flexible. It just throws people off.
Dang this video is good, quality wise!
This is a great video!! Thank you!!
I’d say, in terms of uniqueness of mechanics, Hollowed Phoenix is the closest to manaless dredge
Very true! That was a great deck for Modern RIP Faithless Looting
Clever as hell
The deck can be described as "What is Mana?"
Great video. i dont understand something : i thought you lost the game when your library is empty ?

@@mtgexplainers oh ok i understand now thank you ! Keep up the great work !
How do someone think of a deck like this? Manaless dredge and lantern control are both my all time favorite unconventional decks
It's wild, right? People have just brewed up a new version called oops all spells! www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/modern-oops-all-spells#paper
Lantern Control is such a wild deck also. I can't believe someone took a bunch of commons / uncommons and was able to grind a game to halt
Could you please make a deck list for this?
Check the video description for a couple of deck lists and more in-depth primers!
Interesting, strong and cheap deck for legacy! I should learn english better, for understand "the final combo" :)
This video has 0 dislikes
This feels like a yugioh combo lol
But if you can mill your entire deck, why not just reanimate Thassa's Oracle instead
Video was made before Thassa's Oracle existed and video can't be updated, but I do mention it here! th-cam.com/video/oJMg9rGvcAc/w-d-xo.html
force spike :D
This is such a stupid deck, how does dredge exist.
