I personally found the Wheel of Time series to be a huge disappointment, for reasons I won't care to mention, but the music was GREAT. I'm sure Gustavo will do justice to this amazing soundtrack!

Gustavo, I watched a couple of of episodes of The Wheel of Time last night. The only character that I felt came close to the books (so far) is Lan Mandragoran (Moraine's guard-dog). He is exactly as I pictured him, but a lot more talkative and likable than the book. I can really understand why people don't like the short weekly episodes. It will be hard to stay invested in this for the 10 years it will take to tell the whole story, hahaha. It is better when my 3 favorite musicians sink/play songs from the story, haha. I would never have started watching GoT except for K's beautiful original songs.
Ohhh I see! It's interesting you say that, cause Lan is one of the characters I like the most so far on the show! Funny to think he's even less talkative in the books hahah! I also like Moiraine, but I can't compare them to their book selves since I haven't read them.
Haha if GoT went on for almost 10 years, imagine how long it will take to finish Wheel of Time!
