@@GustavoSteiner Hi, Gustavo! Thanks for the explanation. I just read up. The Picardy Third is considered a "happy end", and that's exactly what the last lines of the song are supposed to say.

Muito obrigado, Ivone! Que ótimo que você gostou. Essas montanhas são muito impressionantes mesmo, gostei muito de passar um tempo por lá =D
Beautiful

Excellent choice. Good song, great voice!
Thank you so much, Paul! They did a great job setting this poem to music, so I'm glad you liked my version! =)

Muito obrigado! Que bom que você está curtindo minhas escolhas de covers =D
Espero que os próximos também estejam entre os seus favoritos!
The mountain in the background tho! Thank you for a new version of this masterpiece. Is there a tutorial on patrion? 😊
I'm glad you liked my version! The landscapes there really are stunning =)
I don't really do any tutorials other than providing the chords in the description, but I hope those are a good start for you to enjoy playing the song as well!
Yes, I saw them. It's very kind of you! It's just that you use both picking and strumming, switching between both throughout the song. It's not that easy to pick up the pattern. At least for a beginner 🥲😅
@@condensedmilk I understand. The strumming pattern I used was something like D-DUDU. But I'd suggest doing whatever feels right for you, even if it's not the same. As long as you're enjoying it, it's right =D
Hope you have fun playing it!
I just finished watching lord of the rings trilogy again awesome song man👌👌👌
Oh nice! I'll never get tired of watching those movies. I'm glad you enjoyed the song as well =D
Onde foi essa gravação, Gustavão?
Hahah foi em uma área da Nova Zelândia chamada Arthur's Pass. Lugar muito impressionante =D
Hey. :) Is it slower than the original? Sounds great. Very well sung. :)
Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I didn't try to match the original speed, so I don't really remember which is faster ;)
Hello, my Friend! One more small note: At the end of the song I prefer to play an E-major instead of E-minor. That sounds liberating (redemptive) and is a good conclusion. Give it a try. You will be amazed.
Hi there, Niko! That is called a Picardy Third, and it's a really cool effect, isn't it? Glad to hear you're experimenting and making the song your own =)
@@GustavoSteiner Hi, Gustavo! Thanks for the explanation. I just read up. The Picardy Third is considered a "happy end", and that's exactly what the last lines of the song are supposed to say.
It's so beautiful😍
Thank you so much! =D
Beautiful :)
Thank you! =D
The fu**; third song i am listening to from you, your voice is very very nice
Hahah thank you, my friend =D
If anyone knows the fingerstyle order of his fingers playing the chords I would appreciate it alot if u tell me... This song is a masterpiece
This is the basic pattern, just adapt it to each other open chords:
E----------0----------0----------2----------2-----------0---------
B---------0----------0----------3----------3-----------1----------
G------0----0----0----0----2----2----2----2-----0----0------
D---2----------2----------0----------0-----------------------------
A----------------------------------------------------3----------------
E----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would the sons of durin still beat their picks on deep stone beneath our feet... they would praise your voice bard.
Damn, that's an amazing and badass compliment hahah thank you! =D
The best voise
Thank you so much, Rick! =D
Can I get tabs of this masterpiece?
Sorry, I don't make tabs, but I hope the chords in the description will be helpful! =)
Amazing lika always!
Thank you so much, Riquet! I'm glad you liked it =)
That is an impressive landscape you're sitting in front of, looks you took a longer journey for this :)
Oh yeah, it was an amazing place! There was definitely a lot of driving to get to this place in the middle of New Zealand. A perfect spot for a Lord of the Rings song =)
Add Spotify pls
Unfortunately it's not possible to add anything with Tolkien's words to Spotify.
Hello, my friend! I can´t believe, that an "Em" is right here at the end:
Em C G Em
With golden roof and silver floor
The sound is like a "D". Right?
Hi there! I do indeed play it as Em. The D chord would clash with the note in the melody =D
Thank you verry much. Now I understand. This is fine artfulness. It´s a good bridge passage to the following "C".
Can someone inform me about the strum for the chords?
D-DUDU
@@GustavoSteiner thank you!
there shone for ever far .. what the hell man , it's there shone for ever fair and bright
