Mike & the Mechanics wasn't supposed to sound like Genesis. It's a totally different sound. I mean, why would Mike start another band only for it to sound like Genesis? What would be the point? But their best album (out of 9 Studio Albums to Date) will always be their 2nd album 'Living Years' as well as Paul Carrack & Paul Young as vocalists until their 5th album. That was their best lineup.
Wow. Not thought about Mike And The Mechanics for a long while. Didn't expect the line up. I will be investigating. Thank you.
Great 👍🍀✨🍀✨
Who is “Mark” Rutherford? 😂
I've never heard 'Mark And The Mechanics' Any good? 😂
It's now Mark And The Mechanics 🤣
Well in Mark 😂
Did Mike really mention about new music?
Yes, by the end of 2025. Their last album 'Out of the Blue' was released in 2022.
Phil Spector over produced The long and winding road. Not George Martin. Paul McCartney hated the results
MARK...?! Pretty disrespectful, please change (the researchers).
Is that the Olympic long jumper ? He’s aged terribly
I find Mike and The Mechanics really Bland.
Not a patch on Genesis.
Genesis should have continued with Ray Wilson.

Mike's best album by far is Smallcreep's day. Mike & the Mechanics was/is just plodding AOR.
