I am so happy so many of you are joining me for this challenge! What area do you tend to feel you need to give the most love to when it comes to stretching? For me it's always the hips!
Hips, calves, neck, and shoulders. I always get the most relaxation from stretching those areas. Ooh, and definitely low back too. Basically everywhere, I guess. 😅
Omg...that felt AWESOME. I am 72 and have been dancing since I was 2. This will be my 70th recital....These stretches are helping me so much. Thank you❤ My body thanks you
Not only does all the stretching feel great and help my body, but you are helping me with another challenge. I have a brain that wants, no..needs, everything to be equal, so often, I count or time stretches on each side. But because of your encouragement to let go and be still and not control everything, I just listened to your voice and trusted both sides would be pretty equal(and that if they weren't, that would be ok). Thank you so much! Brilliant teaching!
I am ok with stillness. And one of my favorite stretches- the knee over the leg and grab through to hold the other leg. Feels wonderful! Thanks, Chris.

I'm ok with stillness. I constantly have lower back pain, so I always stretch my lower back and hips deeper after all of your classes. It helps me get through the rest of my day.

I am ok with the stillness! In fact, static stretching is my absolute favorite. It feels so good and at least for me, really helps with any muscle soreness. Loved this. Thank you!

This one was my favorite so far. One of the good things about not being up to date on the challenge is that I can pick what area I want to focus on, and today it was legs. I really like the point and flex of the feet. For some reason I really felt that stretch and don't remember ever doing it before. Thank you so much for doing this Challenge!

Is your life a rat race of go, go, go? Mine definitely is. As a teacher, as soon as I park my car in the school's lot, I am on and off to the races. Once I get home, it's so hard to "turn it off." Today, was my third day of the challenge. Not only am I okay with the stillness, I welcome it. Looking forward to quiet in my mind while stretching tomorrow and the days after. I am ok with stillness!!! I was hit by a text driver 5 years ago. I was 49 and in great shape, walking 3 miles+ each morning. I had a very successful cleaning business, two to three homes a day deep clean. Then after dropping two grandbabies at school I was hit and my van went airborne right in front of my house. My van hit rock as it flipped three times. Major concussion that I will always have symptoms, but I couldn't walk or move without assistance so I went from 128 pounds to 155 and any amount of walking and exercising plus menopause now :) I have really struggled. But I found you Chris and thank you so very much! I am really feeling great with new stretches. You are a true blessing. Jen

I never thought I would be saying this but I'm not only okay with the stillness, I'm actually starting to enjoy it. I took up the 30 day challenge and started doing these to unwind before bed. It's really helping me, a raging insomniac, slow down so I can get some rest.
Wow… this was the perfect follow up stretch for today’s lower body class! It felt amazing and I’ll come back to this on often… I wasn’t only okay with the stillness I really enjoyed it… I love stretching, it more of a reward for me than anything else! 😻
I’m usually pretty hyper and was never into yoga or mobility style exercises until I started doing them with you, Chris. I’ve learned not only how good it is for you but also that I’m ok with the stillness! Thank you!
I'm okay with the stillness! It's funny because I was a RN for over 40 years and I find it difficult to remain still or relax for any length of time so I am really enjoying this challenge. I'm ok with the stillness! Loved this stretch. You know I'd been doing your mobility videos in the mornings before taking the kiddo to school. Sometimes I'd wonder if 30 minutes was too long and today, I wondered if 15 was too short for stretching. I'm conflicted Chris but either way, I'm not stopping! 😀

Day 3 did not disappoint! I love the stillness (sorry, had to tweak that a bit) and the long, focused stretches. I really love stretching any muscle, but I do love stretching my back and hips. What is lovely about your stretches is that I always find a body part that I didn't know was in need of a stretch. Today, was the lower back. Felt wonderful, especially after a step workout. Thank you!
