heaven's feel is usually everyone's favorite route , and there is good reason for that. It's also nasu's answer to the question of what it means to be a hero. Fate route describes the ideal hero. UBW tries to put that hero face to face with reality. Heaven's feel is the answer that you can't save everyone ....you can't always fix everything , and that you should try to be content with what you have , and protect the little happines in your life that you can get (in shirou's case > sakura). This is sadly the biggest tragedy of the fate animations : most people don;t realize that fate/ubw/heaven's feel are supposed to be seeen togheter because each adds context and explores an different aspect of shirou's personality. People just assume that they are sequels , and mostly watch for the animation or something , rather then try to understand that each is a piece of the puzzle that is fateverse.
More like movie format just doesn't work. I managed to get a lot relevant info from UBW but series format is the only viable format for fate. I don't know what they smoked when they thought "Hey let's make the longest route into 3 movies!" Also the lack of internale dialouge. I get it it seems stupid to read thoughts out loud but I rather have it slightly silly then missing key understanding of certain characters.
@Juan Nah, movie format is simply bad for the whole Fate franchise. Heck even Solomon which could actually handle a single movie deal screwed it up the last 2 min, where the audiance has no goddamn clue how Ritsuka escaped there IF you haven't played the game.
The problem with heavens feel is that they mushed everything into 3 movies with the last movie being the most rushed. This movie was supposed to have a lot of dialogue between illya kirei and shirou respectfully. And it makes sense that you would be traumatized considering this is probably the darkest part of the story. Quick Note: about Saber Alter she's technically weaker than the original however because she's connected to the grail she has an infinite amount of mana to draw upon so she can spam her mana burst and excalibur
I hate how they cutted the whole final part, Shirou vs Berserker in the movie makes no sense at all, since the whole explanation it's just mad of flashbacks. Shirou vs Kirei, probably the most important fight in the whole Stay Night novel, it's just nothing. HF deserved a full series.

I really enjoyed the movie the only thing I dislike was how Gilgamesh went out In the VN it was more one sided in Gils favour where the shadow even ran away in fear of him despite not even being scared of berserker He only get absorbed because he got careless (same as usual) and turned around to leave without making sure she was dead In the anime he lost a leg and just stared at her as he got absorbed Other then that I really enjoyed it

Even if he does he writes off futures where he loses as "nonsense" and typically ignores them So even if he sees a future where he is swallowed by mud he would just ignore it Although he is in a bad mood in FSN because he is incarnated making him more careless then usual
@@ExE7333 Even in Extra I don't think he used his future sight much, he uses it more a Caster then Archer In fate/kaleid he mentions he usually suppresses it but sometime it shows him glimpses even if it isn't trying His eyes have numerous abilities like truth perception so just because he knows stuff doesn't mean he uses future sight He doesn't need Future sight to beat Archer emiya, he just needs hakuno, aka a master he acknowledges as an equal so he can go all out for them without damaging his pride They actually fight in a bonus CCC fight and Gil wins I think

Playing heaven's feel as a vn vs watching heaven's feel trilogy honestly was one of those moments when I am easily accepting the the few cuts off from the source material. The saving graces these ufotable adaptations did great was sparing us the awkwardly written smut scenes, especially in HF and just do the cut to black method.
I like this one a lot. I cried so much. It was nice to see Sakura and Shiro have a little bit of happiness, even if it was short-lived. Plan to watch the last one tomorrow. 😊

I loved the fact that they put it at the end of the vn , after exploring all other routes and timelines past fate. Personally i've always interpreted it as an metaphor for entire lifetimes spent.
Now you need to watch Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya for Illya's route. Or just watch Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Vow in the Snow for Shirou's forth route. A.k.a. best Shirou.
If you ignore the countless people killed by her, then maybe. Personally rin has the better personality for me. Also i know sakura is traumatized and shit but my point stands. Her yandere and controlling side just ruins her best girl potential for me.

3:10 Up to this point Heaven's Feel was one of the best Anime I've ever seen, but as soon as Archer dies it all goes off the rails. All the good servants are either already dead or are about to die unceremoniously, the finish to Heaven's Feel is the weakest out of all Anime paths thus far, which is even more disappointing considering the greatness of the first half.

The myth of medusa's potential is actually best represented in Fate Babylonia, since the whole reason this happened is because Sakura/Medusa are a Titan in the body of a human that will be fine if they don't use magic, or have submissive breed able fun time... I can give Athena a pass cause gods are obsessed with their theme so she didn't expect Medusa would be persuaded by men and didn't expect Poseidon to pull a Shinji and Blood bend her just to get back at Athena. I gotta hand it to Nasu, he scribed the actual events of Medusa's fall coded within Japanese upper class soap opera drama. This route successfully does more for feminism than Ted talks. And it at least explains what actual magi do most of the time...without kink shaming! *Dumbledore golf clap*

3:10 Up to this point Heaven's Feel was one of the best Anime I've ever seen, but as soon as Archer dies it all goes off the rails.
All the good servants are either already dead or are about to die unceremoniously, the finish to Heaven's Feel is the weakest out of all Anime paths thus far, which is even more disappointing considering the greatness of the first half.
Thinking about it, the only way we know that shirou did rin is the existence of FGO.
The most redeeming thing about this movie is how scary Saber Alter is.
i love heaven's feel because of the huge curveball it throws at the beginning making us think that rider is gonna be absolutely fucking useless again only to fuck up saber alter in the end (at least it was a curveball for me idk bout y'all)
