- In This Video, I will be giving my honest review of the anime Honest Review Of Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel - I. Presage Flower, and ranking the characters on a tier list! This will be part of a multiple-part series where I go through as many of the Fate series until I lose my mind. My content is satire in nature and while it may sound like I disliked the anime it's mostly bad jokes. I will be talking about what makes it one of the greatest animes of all time... by insulting everything about it. This movie was released on October 14, 2017. There are currently only two movies and there are so many more branches but this series has reached a conclusion. There is a Visual Novel that you can read, so I recommend reading it even though I have no idea what happens. This video contains Large spoilers, so be aware if you plan on watching the anime or reading the manga. If you do happen to read this much by some miracle, I am always open to suggestions, whether new content or problems with the videos. I will now list character names to boost my chances in the algorithm. Kiritsugu Emiya, Saber, Kirei Kotomine, Gilgamesh, Rin Tohsaka, Shirou Emiya, Sakura Matou, Illyasviel von Einzbern.

Fun Fact: The Heaven’s Feel route in the visual novel has the most deaths out of any route. It’s also the only route where you require a certain amount of friendship points with two characters rather than just the main girl.
A simple sheet of paper can be folded only seven times. Shirou instead can be folded a million times. Unlimited Fold Works !

@@Xernitory And the reason for that is because she was trained from birth to be the next Tohsaka master in the Grail War, or at least give birth and raise the next master since there was no way Tokiomi could've known the next war would happen in only 10 years. Grail Wars are only supposed to happen every 60 years or so after all.

The limits that shirou and sakura are brought to in terms of their sanity made this route the most tense emotionally. BTW if you want you can see the normal ending (depressing af tho) and Spark Liner High which is probably the most badass Shirou is ever at

@@MrInuhanyou123 i completely disagree with that.Just becuase they similar in a way doesn't mean they the same.For sparks liner high it was a compromise becuase he wasn't alone in this battle,but for Oath under snow it was a clear determination to save Miyu becuase he knew he was the only one who could do that.
Heaven's feel is able to tell its story in a Precise manner beacuse it dosent have to cover everything since fate and ubw did it before hand so it can focus on its main plot differences more
This guy is funny AF. Hope you enjoy the trilogy dude. Don't worry about not understanding stuff or having holes in the story or plot, that's just how the movies have to be cause they had strict runtime limits
Gilgamesh was one of the main villains in UBW but in heavens feel he gets folded faster than rider
And Rider, an afterthought in the other two routes, is 100% essential and fucking terrifying in Heaven's Feel

I don’t read the novel but in the novel, i think they said that Shirou had to avoid hits on the last fist fight cause any hits to the head or else he dies

He literally says he must avoid every hit to the head, because that's a game over.
as Viscount said, yeah, Shirou's already nearing death's door due to his body reaching its limits from using Archer's arm and his consciousness waning by the second. He's also facing against a Kirei who could hand him his ass even if he's weakened-- the final fight between them was mainly one of endurance, whether Kirei's death catches up to him first or Shirou's fully stabbed to a pincushion by Archer's arm

Me and my friends lovingly refer to the Heaven's Feel route as the Kirei and Illya route, with good reason.
The route fleshed out a lot of the side characters while making one of the most divisive main heroines in the franchise.
It's so cool to see people cover fate and enjoy it + your content and jokes are good

5:59 fun fact cu winning the holy grail War is the first thing that happens in the fate mobile game. He swapped his class to a caster allowing him to beat the shit out of both Archer and saber alter.
But he didnt. First of all, cu was actually summoned as a caster, he didnt change his spirit origin. In fact he literally talks about how he wished he was summoned into the lancer class. Secondly, he didnt win the war, saber just beat everyone ELSE up and they became shadow servants. He managed to escape being defeated. He only just pulled the win on emiya when he has to distract him in the final fight of the order and he never evens sees saber alter in the first order, whether he saw her before mc arrived is not known but cu would get demolished by saber alter.
@@jetpower6601 first of all i allready Said he was a diffrent class If you Read my comment but i could have worded it beter secund of all while we did help cu we mostly just defended ourself and him from The attacks of saber cu was the One doing most of the work. Also while saber did turn all the other servents into alters and steal the grail she dident truly win becuse cu was still alive.
Cu beating archer by distracting him just shows that he is smart and him wanting to be a lancer changes nothing about what happend in the story.
Also then theres the movie version of what happend wich plays out slightly diffrent from The game. I agree cu would not have won without a Little help but he wasent helpless and was shown to be very strong even as a caster. And this is all before we get into what happens in the English lostbelt wich does show why cu caster is cu caster.

Also i was talking based on the events of the movie. If we talking the games events than its kinda hard to tell how much influence each person had in the fight. Considering saber could have easily broken out of wickerman with excalibur and killed cu as a bonus, she didnt which implys she used nearly all her power on her last excalibur which was blocked by lord chaldeas. Been a bit since ive played the story do know he was fairly strong.
My question (as an up to date ENG player pls no spoilers on JP) is what advantage has caster cu got over lancer cu? I mean lancer cu can use all his runes as well, even being able to protect from large scale noble phantasms by combining them. What does caster cu have over him? Just genuinely curious.
@@jetpower6601 The biggest thing caster cu has is that if i dont remember wrong he works for/is possesed by Odin that is why his Bond 10 CE is the world tree, why he came to help us and why we Saw Odins birds in lostbelt 2.
@@lokegerhardsson8979 cas cu wasnt in neither was he mentioned in lostbelt 2. The birds of odin huginn and muninn were just monitoring skadi’s actions after odins passing and later on watching over chaldea. Dont think there was anything else to it.

It's even funnier that the animes only show how many times Shirou gets folded in endings where he lived. Its not even counting all of the other endings in the visual novel where he gets even more folded. The second movie even showed a ending where he didn't get folded (the one where he looks like Archer) but its made into a dream in the anime so Shirou is still a towel.

Just listen to a read-along/playthrough of the VN. Presage Flower was lit. The second one was meh. The last one was disappoint. The HF route in the VN is a slow burn, but ends up being way better where movies 2 and 3 drop the ball. That said, they do look amazing. Can't argue how pretty it looks. Shoulda been a mini series though.

In any route does shirou learn that illya is his sister? I was pretty disappointed in both the stay/night anime and heavens feel movies because thier family connection was just forgotten about.
Especially since the family connection in fate/zero was a big part for Me in what made that anime very enjoyable.

You don’t really need too much time to read the VN, it’s around 20 hours if you read fast for the Fate route, of course, not counting bad endings nor picking different choices.
You probably could finish it in one week or so if you read it in your free time or while you’re eating since there’s also auto read option.
Of course, that’s only for the Fate route, the other routes would probably take a bit less since you can skip most scenes from day 1-3 in UBW and there’s some couple of new scenes in HF from day 1-3.

Let's be real tho, the whole Magical Girl, Power of friendship, School life and Loli stuff isn't everyone's thing. It certainly isn't mine. But overall its still fun to watch, I rewatched the whole thing a couple months ago when the second movie came out and it was actually better than I remember
