What set do you want to see next for Lord of the Rings?
Rohan
A battle pack and some cheaper sets
Mines of Moria just as extensive as these past two
@@owainbrady8201 Rohan is not a structure or something to design a set of lol; Rohan is land, consisting of multiple large and small villages, Edoras being the most known
this is awsome !!!!!!!!
I'm so glad LOTR is back but wish we got multiple sets not just a couple costing in the hundreds
Same, so far only the brick heads have been within my budget.
We'll end up seeing smaller sets next year if the leaders are right
I hope so
Yeah like why make a smaller-sized great (for a low-priced) set but make it a GWP. It's just annoying.
Really hope so! There’s so much potential here, especially if we look at what they’ve done with Harry Potter
I really wish the made cool lotr sets for less than 100 dollars
Me too…. 😔
i’d take less than 200 at this point
I get it but try to see it as a good investment. You can play with it, display it in your living room without looking ridiculous.
You can buy it as a one shot without being tempted to enter in a completist complex.
And most importantly, big sets are easier to resell if one day you're strugling with your budget.
Moreover, LOTR theme really adress towards older generations that can now afford to buy more expensive set
@@mazomort4127 That's only if you can afford it to begin with. Many people cannot, and teenagers, who should be the target audience, can only look at it with a fool's hope
@@mazomort4127 Not all older collectors are rich people will unlimited space. Some of us want to buy LOTR sets and display them but not spend $500 on them. We'd rather get a couple of $50-200 sets because we have other franchises we'd like to buy stuff for or even have other things we need to spend money on
What I would love is if they did a $50-$100 diorama of Frodo about to toss the ring into Mount Doom.
a Moria diorama would be cool: "Let them come. There is one dwarf yet in Moria who still draws breath." (Gimli)
Or an obvious ''YOU SHALL NOT PASS"
Your diorama could come with 2 quote plates, "Cast it into the fire, destroy it!'' (Elrond)/(Sam) and 4 minifigs: Elrond, Isildur, Sam, Frodo so you could recreate either of the scenes.
@@kacperk6484 That would be fantastic and they could also include Gollum before he jumps into the lava.
@@voiceovershill7620 My opinion is: if they would go for ''2in1 scenes'' - no Gollum, 5 figs would be too much imo, if they would do only Sam and Frodo then add Gollum
The quote would be something like “The ring is mine”
I'm freaked out by Gollum's lack of Loin cloth 🤣😂🤣😂
Oh no. Why did you point that out?? My poor eyes!
The design of this proves they could definitely do Minas Tirith justice in a similar scale. Would be a killer fig lineup too. Denethor, Faramir, Pippin in citadel armor, Gandalf the White, some Gondor soldiers, maybe even fountain guards. And the sidebuild or GWP??
GROND
Totally agree and if done right I’d break the bank to get it
I really hope they make cheaper sets. The size and detail of these sets are amazing but i dont think most LOTR fans can afford to spend 400 dollars on every new set
Ya we need more. They should at least try it out again
We need the siege of Minas Tirith as a set in my opinion
Some figures could be Gandalf, pippin, like 4 or 5 Gondor soldiers, and a ton of orks
Idk I’m wishful thinking but I think that’d be absolutely sick
@@BreadGood_21 gotta get a witch king figure too, Sauron is great and all but from what i've seen fans are bigger on the Witch King since he has more presence in the story, plus lancer villains are always cooler than the boss.
@@nickkerber1145 plus his helmet is sick
It seams lego has ben pushing alot of big sets for colecters lateley. As far as starwars goes I feel that's ok. but I feel like some themes like the revived lotr has isolated some lego buyers at least for now. Hopefully some smaller sets. A good set would be Faramour's ( I'm sure I misspelled his name so feel free to corect me) last stand against the orks or Gandalf the white in fangorn forest when he firstc apears. Battlepacks with orcs or Roha and Gondor soldierscwould be great.
That Sauron minifig is gorgeous. Personally Im happy that they didnt give him the avatar-legs, they look so weird and wrong to me. I really want playsets though, im getting kinda tired of seeing all these amazing sets that I probably wont ever get because its too expensive (doesnt help that I am currently unemployed either though lol).
I feel the same and Sauron looks better with just regural minifigure arms and legs here and the longer ones just make him look goofy and too tall to being completely honest.
Same. He looks great. It reminds me of him in the videogame.
I hope to see LOTR battle packs with orcs, Uruk-hai, elves, dwarfes, Gondorians, Rohirrim etc. relatively cheap but very nice to accompany the big sets!
6:52 the scroll:
3 rings for the elven Kings under the sky
7 for the dwarf Lords in their Halls of stone
9 for mortal men doomed to die
1 for the dark Lord on his dark throne
In the land of Mordor where the shadows lie.
🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋😍✅
Backwards it makes 1973-The year Tolkien died
Ohhhh that's what i was. Thanks! No idea how i didn't realize it was that. I was wondering what it meant XD
I love the Sauron Minifig
Me too!
Man I bet his minifig alone is gonna cost $100 on BrickLink
@@godricalex3531 I'm calling it, he's so gonna be made for super cheap in the Mexico Factory and be sold by minifigure holders for the triple of that and we have a new Phase 2 Rex in our hands...
@@aleksihalme6726wait… that’s a thing?? that happens on bricklink? dude… i mean i check the minifigs feet and it says lego so that means its legit right? if not, where do i find these fake legos i’ll buy just because lego is so expensive atp
Not going to lie I seen some knockoff that are way better. One I saw used the avatar limbs to make him taller than other mini figures
I would have liked a bigger fell beast, one that came with the WITCH KING of ANGMAR, Eowyn, and Armored Theoden. I have seen how awesome LEGO can make dragons, and I hope we can get a cooler build later on :D
Also FINALLY! The Dark Lord himself has a physical Minfigure :D ( Possibly could have used the TALL legs...but whatever, it is SAURON, He still looks cool ) That dark tower looks AMAZING :D
Hopefully that means we get a bigger and better Fell Beast down the line then :P
Do you mean Eowyn instead of Arwen?
Arwen is the half Elven daughter of Elrond who marries Aragorn. You're thinking of Eowyn, who killed The Witch King with Merry.
Witch King would be in the Minis Tirath set.
6:30 looks like the orb leaks the next big Lord of the RIngs set ;)
Minas tirith would be absolutely insane
I’m so glad there making another Lego Batman movie set 🔥🔥🔥
LOL
As an adult, i rather buy a really big expensive set with decoration value than multiple small one that looks like toy.
I think this set combines the two thing i love with Lego : Displayability and Playability features with minifigs. Great choice from Lego like with the Avengers Tower.
Most people, especially kids, can't afford those big sets. There should be both
@@voidstudios7460 I really doubt there are a lot of kids these days that want to buy LOTR stuff.
As a small child I can confirm that we do indeed want small LOTR sets.
i second this verily
As a teenager I confirm we do too
As small adult who was a small child when the original sets came out, I agree!
You shouldn't be on youtube little bro
@@shadow_king12344 I am of the minimum age - no worries.
There’s an animated LotR film coming out at the end of this year - maybe that will spur them on to do smaller sets?
Not to mention the live action film "The Hunt For Gollum" being released in 2026
thats one heck of a set i really wish i could affored it but maby i might get it. Sauron minifigure is awsome and i like the way they made hes helmet mold. if therey where to do mnore of these sets id really like to see Minas Morgul, Dol Guldur maby even Edoras or Minas tirith. i cant wait to see where things are going with lego and lotr
The glow affect is particularly satisfying
My favorite part is ofc the eye and I like how the pieces around it adds to the glowing effect
this might be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
The "Baggins" on the little map was so fun to see!!
LotR Diorama’s PLEASE
Fair play, that's insane
This is THE most dope-ass set ever released so far and they even added the Lego Sauron MiniFigure! Thanks for releasing this video Ashnflash, you're amazing!!
This looks like a really amazing set, haven’t got it yet, but I would definitely recommend buying this, I will be trying to get the fellbeast definitely.
Wildly excited for the 1st to try and order one, thank you for this early review it only hyped it up even more for me. I didn’t even know that the Wraith Rider set was INCLUDED I was ready to purchase both!
Awesome video ashnflash 😊
Oh wow! The have GOTHMOG! (As I call him...."This little Piggy!") XD
The orc that could not spit since he barely has lips
I hardly get sets opening week, but I have luckily got quite a bit of spare change, enough to get this.
The helmets look so good for custom minfigures I love the minfigures I'm the set too
You're the set? That's um... kind of weird. How does it feel to be taken apart? Can you feel the minifigures walking on you? Do you see out of the eye?
@@TheFirstCurse1
The teatcher: "What are you gonna be when you grow up?"
Him: "I'm gonna be a Lego Set!"
The teatcher: "Ah, well, that sounds pretty exittt-...YOU WHAT!!!?"
Woops I misspelled 🤔
@@CatZman09 No, I don't think you did. You've exposed yourself.
@@aleksihalme6726 Teacher: Okay, I'll entertain this kid's idea. "What LEGO set do you want to be?"
Kid: "I want to be Barad Dûr, the most evil castle there is!"
Teacher: "YOU WHAT!!!?"
i completely agree that adding isildur and the witch king to theme it around the second age of man would've been way cooler
Looks sick af
I think big sets are so cool like this one and all the massive Star Wars ships, but for me I like the little Star Wars dioramas for 70-90$ that are a perfect size and can fit on my desk
This looks fantastic will go nice with my riverdell great preview 👍
i cant believe they made a minifig of the Harvey Weinstein Orc. Wild stuff.
Love all the different helmets included.
I love this set
I'm 62, and I love playsets!
U saw this last year 😮😮😮😮 nice 👍
A USC helms deep would be so goated
I want a new Gandalf on the cart set
I love to have that as an very awesome display piece :D
THIS IS PERFECTION
The small set looks cool as well
8:14 I can already see a custom BatMan who Laughs with that Mouth of Sauron guy
9:02 GOLLUM!! He looks smaller, I think it's a completely new piece for the body than the one they used to use
I have the old mold and they’ve ruined it! 😂
@@SPIDER-KID.
Fancy seeing you here
@@venomfan2020 hey! 😂
dang this is legit.... very impressed
I wish the Fell Beast had Éowyn in it.
Amazing set Sauron is here.
That's one of the most badass lego sets ever awesome
Really hyped for this! A bit sad I wont have the money in time to get the promo, but still so happy to see lotr again!
They actually made a minifig scale Sauron!!!! My dreams of an LOTR collection have come true. Rivendell and Barad-dur are now on my collector's list.
I think the other thing with people being upset about LotR only having huge sets is that they go away so fast. Like with the Death Star they were constantly restocking it so people COULD save up for a long time, but now by the time I have enough money for a big set it’s been discontinued.
My eyes! They’re seeing the light! Of Gandalf the White!
I’m so glad we finally got a Sauron!!! Gothmog looks great too, now all we really need is Witch-King! I’d love to get a Faramir and Eowyn too some day!
My life is like yours since I’m a kid but I really want these huge sets cause there so cool
Never watched it but the minifigures and set look crazy good
I really need to rewatch the movies now.
I think a massive scale Bag End would be great. A beautifully detailed interior with kitchen, dining room, Bilbo’s office along with an amazing exterior. It would be…a chef’s kiss as they say. Plus we haven’t had a bag end in over a decade.
This is so amazing! The details are very thrilling and I feel that building this set will give LOTR fans chills. Sauron looks awesome I love the Mouth of Sauron, Gothmog and Gollum (yes I wish the Witch king was included) my favorite elements are the Eye of course and the palantir and the map. The note with Shire Baggins gives me the creeps
I would love to see a Gandalf and Balrog on bridge set. Looking forward to your review.
I think the orb is supposed to be a palantir as in the book it is described when the Ringwraiths took the city of Minas Ithil and transformed it into Minas Morgul, they delivered it's palantir to Sauron at Barad-dûr which he would use to corrupt Saruman and slowly sap the strength and will of his enemy Denethor in Gondor.
I hope they end up keeping this set around for a while. I definitely don’t have even close to the amount of money needed for it now or in the foreseeable future but I would still love to get this set someday
Glad the Lego Batman movie is still getting sets
Iykyk
This looks amazing! I definitely want it😈😈😈. I hope Lego also continues again with the medieval themes in the d&d theme
This set is a must buy for me! Good thing I saved enough money!
Just got Rivendell I’ll be getting throw aswell 😅
I might buy one too because this set works in many aspects and far better for display than UCS Venator or even UCS AT-AT that has very limited articulation points in the legs so it dosen't fall over because of the gravity that hurts.
I need it
I want this so badly. I'd more or less stopped caring about Lego but this. This is something I'd be proud to display.
The fell beast would have been such a good stand alone set.
Weird the Fellbeast set is a promo exclusive. Missed opportunity for Lego to make that the Witchking and his Fellbeast on a Pelennor Fields Display base with Theoden, Merry, and most importantly our first Eowyn minifigure alongside the Witchking of Angmar.
Barad Dur looks gorgeous! My wallet’s still recovering from Rivendell xd Great review!
I absolutely love this set! I probably won't be getting it, though, as I already have Rivendell & don't have the space for it. Hopefully LEGO does decide to release some cheaper non-brickhead LotR sets eventually!
I think the next Iconic LotR one to make would be Bag-end, either as a smaller D2C or a regular playset.
I want more like playscale sets, like big ones to but some smaller battle pack sized ones or like 100 doller sets
Would love to get Minas Tirith, Helms deep and Orthank in this style. Make it just the UTC set each year, then playset's whenever a new movie like War of the Rohirem comes out.
New line cinema is also doing war of thw rohirrim this year, so a helms deep set would be cool.
Yeah this is what I’ve been waiting for!
Edit: I would’ve liked it if they included 2 more Orcs or an Olog-Hai but hey I won’t complain with that Sauron figure
I’m even more excited about this set because of Lego Dimensions, an it looks awesome!
This is a great set i mean the design is clean the minifigures are cool buuuut it dousnt beat rivendell but im just so glad were getting more lego lotr sets since they just look great
I love how they’re bringing back Lord of the Rings to give us these amazing sets we never got when he had it before. I think it’d be cool if they made Bilbo’s home or something. That’d be cool.
after 7 years, they are finally giving us this Lego Batman Movie set
I’m glad to hear you flesh out your thoughts, because you’re absolutely right that we need to keep letting lego know we want more play sets. My dream is that we get something like the Hogwarts castles, but done for Minas Tirith
O gosh i need that
THE SHIRE
I think Witch King would be in a Minas Tirith set if anything, or a Minas Morgul build, though the second feels far less likely.
Other possibile inclusions could be a new King of the Dead, Faramir, maybe a Oliphant included with some of those archers we also saw in the film. Doubtful, but it's nice to indulge the possibilities.
If we do get a Minas Tirith though, I could finally retire my old moc brick-built white tree. Lol.
I’m so pumped we get Sam and Frodo in their orc armor
FINALLY!! They made an official Sauron figure!
It looks so good
Glad you like it!
Day 1 purchase for me... We Wants it!!!
Wow! People wish these were out years ago
10:41 That’s the reason I wanted this set
I would love to get some battle packs
Same
It's pronounced Bara-Dur, as the second D is silent. And the orb is called a Palantir.
Wouldn't it be "Barad-ur" then?
I was thinking the exact same thing. I guess he’s not a true lord of the rings fan.
@@TheFirstCurse1 I meant the 1st D.
Will the gwp set be available to purchase separately on Amazon or other sites?
Whens the review embargo date?also, we need another Minith Trith, Helms Deep and Orthanic
You were right about the Witch King of Angmar will use a regular hood piece instead of a new helmet
It's not the Witch King bruh, Ash literally says it at 1:22
Isn’t that just a regular Nazgûl? I mean you can play and pretend that It’s The Witch King it could also be his second-in-command Khamûl
@@aleksihalme6726 It could still be him, thou it probably isn't meant to be him, he doesn't wear the helmet all the time.
Maybe it's Talion and you can kill him with the catapult or whatever it was.
@@the_headless_horseman9682 Yeah, I forget about that...
How much cost separate the second lego ( dragon) i really want buy him
The witch king needs to be in the fell beast set
I think the 2x3 scroll at 7:00 is referencing the Ring-verse in the book/that Galadriel says in the beginning of the first movie, as it says 3 (three rings for the elven kings under the sky), 7 (seven for the dwarf lords in their halls of stone), 9 (nine for mortal men doomed to die), 1 (one for the dark lord on his throne).
cool
Minas Morgul would be dope.
