Great job putting this list together. Lego definitely should have made a Sauron minifigure. Imagine how upset fans would be if Lego never made an Emperor Palpatine figure.
They never made the witch king either, saurons main general, thats like missing sidious AND vader. Pretty unforgivable really. Hopefully lego put this right soon...
@@mrmola3295 The Witch-King did appear in his ghost form, so... I guess it would be more like only making the hooded Revenge of the Sith Vader and never releasing his suit version. Still really disappointing though.
Now there are avatar minifigs. So using large legs and large arms in black with big cape, armour helmet and if possible leg and arm printing it would be perfect.
I really enjoyed the Orc helmets used, having that extra punch of variety to each one is super nice, as Lego is clearly known to add the same helmet piece in like ever set, yunno ? Keep up the great work man!
@@mountandbrick I've heard there's three brickheads and that $500 set. Any sources on it being Rivendell? I'd love another big LOTR set but I'm not sure Rivendell would be the right one for me...
I love watching you channel grow. I found you at the beginning of this year when you were about half way done with you black gate moc. Also love how engaged you are with your audience.
Awesome video. Obviously LEGO could never create figures with this insane detail but I hope they can create some impressive figures for the potential wave of sets coming next year. Some other characters I’ve always wanted; Armored Lurtz, Isildur & Elendil, Armored Eowyn, and King Denethor. Maybe they could make a set dedicated to the 2nd age prologue that could include Sauron, Isildur, Elendil and some Gondor + Elven soldiers. The armor of all the different races in that opening scene was just absolutely beautiful.
I love these but I feel that most helmets are just too directly made from the movies, and not that adapted to lego, at the same time making the helmet bigger than expected. I bet it's hard work to do though, props to the creators
I still don't understand why LEGO stopped making sets for this amazing theme! It's positively RIDICULOUS that they just sat on the license after the first 2 years (3 if you count The Hobbit) while endlessly churning out Harry Potter and Friends sets...
I completely couldn’t agree more with the LOTR figures. I personally think that this theme should have came later down the line in maybe like 2019 but a good amount of the figures are very good and don’t need much improvement

I think that Koruit Minifigures are much more Lego - style than your molds, even though they are from China, shame on Lego for not making them themselves... You should check them out

I appreciate the effort they put into the custom lego pieces, but i think they tried to make them accurate to the movies and not to the actual style of lego, which i would have preferred.

A Lego Sauron , Witch King and The Nine from the Hobbit trilogy would be so cool, and also probably pretty hard to find. 5:40 And yes, The Hobbit trilogy was okay but not as good as LOTR, 4:41 mainly because The Hobbit trilogy was done well but it had way too much filler. Especially the third movie, which only had about 30 minutes of importance out of over 2 hours.
Praying for official LEGO battle packs with orcs and easterlings and gondor soldiers and whoever else with some different types of armor. Those would sell like no tomorrow.

It’s cool to see the figures that lego could have mad but didn’t. I still think it’s weird how they didn’t make Sauron, the main villain into a lego minifigure, that’s like if lego made a lego Star Wars theme without including Darth Vader! Glad they scaled up Sauron, always thought he should be a larger mini fig with how he's canonically, taller than everyone else.
