I'm probably going to go with a Holley to Carb swap my foxbody 5.0 even though mustang purist wouldn't like me to. I loved the Carb info on Onyx and I want just about the same thing without the EFI in it. You're car cruised easily all the way to Mexico and back without a problem. Plus you race it on the road doing rolls and on the drag. You put Nos in it. That's the build it want. To tune it you just need some screws
LOL! You got me with that trade thing! I probably still woulda watched, but I have a '94 GT so I can use your current content. The EFI is cool and looks great. You should be able to hone in on better driveability and maybe fuel economy, which is a thing these days!! Good work!

I knew that u wasn't going to trade onyx or I was hoping that u wasn't anyway 😜 I would have had to ease on out if you got rid of Onyx because I would have thought that you lost your mind 🤣😂🤣 but with that being said you got me on what you got for Onyx. When you get it tuned up pretty good do some pulls with the dragy n/a and compare it to the carb setup and see if it picked up or slowed down or stayed the same. Im thinking it is going to stay the same really but it will start easier. How much did it cost ya for the setup?
Nah I ain’t getting rid of this car 😂lol and this setup should at least be the same power if not a little better, most dynos I have seen the sniper is anywhere from 5 to 15 hp better, but if you can increase efficiency more times than not that creates more Hp! 👍🏼 and yes I definitely would like to get a draggy and do a comparison

Yeah the dyno comparison's with the sniper vs a well tuned carb was around the same but was much better than the regular FI where the injectors were at the end of the runners on the intake because it didn't have time for the charge to cool off the incoming air/fuel because it pretty much injected it straight into the cylinder
@@lollis_garage3683 yeah man you are stuck with that car for life because you have done so much work to it and it's just you man, no one else would look right driving that car plus ford rules and your car is cool and sounds awesome. Im hoping that I can hear mine this weekend. I had it together this past week and went to do the first start and noticed that I didn't have oil pressure so I went to prime the system again and my 1/4 impact wouldn't turn it. Locked up which meant that the engine had to come right back out after I just got it in and hooked up. Man I wanted to cry 🤣😂🤣 probably would have if I knew that ppl wouldn't have seen me bawling and screaming for mama to make it better 😂🤣😂 hopefully I will have it up and running this weekend if all goes well

What other type of carburator can replace the demon 650 that Onyx had for his exact set up? Does anyone know? I don't want to use a demon.
Holley 650 is the same thing pretty much you can rebuild a demon carb with Holley rebuild kit, or you can use quick fuel or VDL, or edelbrock

I'd be interested to see the power difference of the exact same setup between EFI vs Carb.
On the dyno usually the Holley is better by 5 to 10 hp so it should be at least just as good!
