Here are the error codes:-

01 Solar Sensor Fault
02 Interior Temp Sensor Fault
03 Heater Core Temp Sensor Fault
04 Air distribution servomotor feedback fault
05 Blend Flap Servomotor feedback fault
06 Blower switch minus fault
07 Blower switch plus fault
08 Interior sensor fan fault
09 Air distribution servomotor fault
10 Blend flap servomotor fault
The display will show either CA=Calibration Active; CC=Calibration Complete or FF=Fault.

Don't do this. You have a good chance of getting this stuck. You cannot access heat or air if you get stuck in the diagnostics mode. No one has an answer on how to get it out. My car has now had this stuck for 2 weeks.
Mine does not have an “off” button. I have Auto and Defroster on top left.
I did this and now I can't get it off. I've even reset the battery, still won't go away.

Hi, thank you for this video. It shows that I have error codes 06 and 07 in my old Mini car. Any idea what might be the problem when the a/c-compressor will not start as it should? The refrigerant filling is 100% ok (checked by automatic service/refilling machine). Is the compressor is broken or pressure switch stuck or what might be the reason? The a/c-system worked last summer "semi-ok", it worked after a while I started driving the car.

Hi can I run this test on a 2016 mini copper s all4?..I believe its a R60..Im getting no voltage to my compressor with the car running a/c on or off ...a/c was working perfect last year and a few weeks ago i went to turn my a/c on and nothing but warm air..There's plenty of refrigerant in the system when i checked..I may buy a new a/c pressure switch and change that and see if it fixes it..Only thing is when I change it all the refrigerant is going to come out cause I dont think it has a check valve like the newer audi's do when i replace the high pressure switch thats a 3 pronge sensor
Hi, I have a 2015 F54 clubman which has a different heater setup. Is there a similar method on my vehicle, I have changed an actuator and the new one, according to forums, needs calibrating.

With the first stripe I get ff 10 and ff 12. What does it mean?
Radio wont work. I changed out all the fuses associated with it and checked all the others but still wont come on. I pulled out the console unit to be sure the wires were connected and they are. Any ideas? Someobe said it is common. I have a 2009 mini cooper clubman s. I see some info from you soon and please feel free to reach out!

That's why I'm here, have an annoying clicking/knocking noise when I turn on the recirculation fan, also happens if I turn up the stereo though lol

What about the controls the one said DISC what it does or how to used or when to used i read something about it but i didn't understand and I'm still confuse about it please would you help me / i have a mini cooper 2004 not to long ago bought
very informative but mine (2004 R53) doesn't seem to do this. when i press on the "off", the AC comes on. do you have any idea why it does this? thanks
I would replace the module, there cheap and you can find loads of them on eBay.

Hi sir thank you for the video. The screen on the first test gives a FF so what does that mean exactly?For the second test I get a CC and the last one I hear the sounds but when I go back to the first I still get FF. What can be wrong? I have a 2004 RHD Mini Cooper.
Hi Franklin, all the error codes are in the description. Looks like you have some sort of error but I can’t tell you why.
My mini gave a 01 and now my AC climate panel won’t work at all now
Good video but now my climate control is stuck on 01 and u say nothing if it doesn’t pass the test. Now my AC will not come back on

How do you take it out of the test mode. Key on and off doesnt work. Showing ff01 fault.

One of the conditions to come out of ir is, that you need to make sure that all servos are attached and working. Otherwise, the computer cannot get out of ff01. That is something I had to find out with trial and error and even my BMW/MINI-service wasn’t aware of it.
What is a solar senser and where is it located in the mini R50
Hi, it’s the little sensor on the top of the dash in the middle. It looks like an led and it’s used to calculate solar gain. It’s pops out if you use a plastic trim tool and is simple to replace.
Men, my ac console it not working, well every light turn on but the center is not light up and I can not do anything if a press the bottoms
I would just replace the unit. It’s fairly easy to get it out and cheap to buy off eBay. I’ve had one once to have up the ghost after getting wet from a windscreen leak.
Mine doesn’t display the temperature like yours in the video. I’ve got no errors but I’m not getting hot air. Only warm and cold
It could be a couple of things, either the connection rods have come off behind, or sometimes, like with mine it can get water in the control module and act very weird. I would get a replacement from eBay and see if that sorts it out. If not you can always sell it again.

Anyone know how to control the defrost fan speed? Every time I turn on defrost it automatically blows high speed fan
That’s not controllable. It’s designed to clear the screen as quick as it can.
@@DipstickDave actually I just found out, if you hold down the defrost button for 3 seconds, the LED light will blink. At that point you can control the fan speed for defrost.

@@danmagee7217 Holy hell... for 7 years I've been under the impression there was no other speed for defrost and I just couldn't believe BMW programmed it that way. Thank you for this information.

How do you take it out of that manue when your car has a fault ?
If you just turn the ignition off it will reset the module.

That error is the solar sensor by the windscreen, looks like a little led. I would guess that has gone. You can get them on eBay and their fairly easy to replace. Make sure you use plastic tools so you don’t scratch the dash. Good luck.

I would just buy a replacement from eBay. They are really cheap and not worth trying to fix. If you have ever had your windscreen (windshield) replaced, it can sometimes cause a leak on the module.
@@DipstickDave Sorry let me rephrase this question. The buttons that have no response are the plus and minus when it comes to adjusting the fan. It seems like it’s on “auto” and it doesn’t let me lower the fan speed.
Sounds like it’s definitely fried. I would replace it.
