The whole purpose of tri force invention is to save your knees according to Mario( the tool inventor ). So it can be stretched standing up using a pole tucker Mario invented. it's very cool and generous that you made this video. I just wanted to give you a little feedback I think it was great how you compared the tri-stretcher to the carpet Pole stretching. in my opinion if you would have loosened up the carpet where it meets the plywood so we can really see how much is stretching you would really get to see a big difference on how much the carpet is stretching on the triforce or on the poles if you're facing the video where the carpet stretcher is facing to the right if you loosen up all the carpet that is tucked in right where it meets the plywood then you would have really seen how much of a difference of carpet would have stretched it's just my opinion really cool that you made this video that's awesome
I have been using the triforce for about 5 years and i really really like it , it save me a lot time and if you do any stretching in Mobil Home it really great you don't have to worry about pushing out any walls
@@FloorsbySouthernboys I am carpet cleaner adding re stretching to my arsenal. Can I get away by just starting with this tool? I do all residential homes. I'd love to see you put a pole stretcher on that room and see how much more stretch you can get out of it. This tool seems better than the kneeless, but I'm never going to give up poles. Cool video. I think im more interested in that stretching pattern. I worked for a guy years ago that kicked in everything in that same pattern, going around the room like that
@@waltbee6333 we have a Kneeless. This and the Kneeless will stretch and larger room but you need to follow a pattern as it’s a progressive stretch. You follow it around the room and work it out to the final corner (IMO)
Real stiff backed berber don't need cranked on real hard, the stiffness in the backing keeps them from needing restretched hardly ever!!! The worst thing to stretch is carpet not warmed properly after being in ice cold van for several hours!!! You must wait several hours so backing is at room temperature!!! The worst restretch I ever saw was my own and it was because I wanted to make my money so I laid a whole brand new home before the furnace was on!! It was about 50' when installed, a day after the furnace was turned on and the day after that the Rocky mountains arose an it resulted in nearly a complete install again!! I ended up making minimum wages on that one and learned a valuable lesson!!!
On wood I stay with spike. Use mine on concrete only or restretch. Only problems I have are basements with angles everywhere and getting rid of the bubbles with all the angle stretches
If you'd been trained properly the angles wouldn't bother you so much.. stretching carpet is a formula it's not complicated but it takes somebody skilled to show it to you the right way once you understand it the angles because it's the same formula the walls just happened to have angles

All the tape lines did move in Wider range less boing with the pipes .But jeez how tight does a good rug need to be stretched . And who wonts to carry the pipes in to the house.
maybe better than knee kicking but the stretch is limited to the length of the head to the feet anything behind that isnt going to move be properly tensioned, which you can see with the bubbles formed behind the feet and your tape test proes that as the feet pushing into the room cause the bow in the tape. the design is really meant for long hallways where you either dont have enough poles to get to the end or theres no wall you can power stretch off having said that adding the poles is still necessary to increase the amount of carpet actually stretched.....27 years in the industry.
What you said is totally wrong and it shows me you don't have a real understanding of the stretching concept. It is pulling completely across the room it's just that it's moving not quite as much it's just that it doesn't move as much

Problem with this tool is the cotton heads, unfortunately Mario is misguided about the use of pins in a cut pile carpet, I tried to reason with him but ended up returning my triforce, I install mid to upper grade carpet day in an day out and the legs do not bite in well enough for it to be useful, causes irreversible damage to the fibers everytime it slips so you all have fun with that
