It takes some time for dirt to accumulate on top of things naturally when left on the ground, and the rug doesn't have any noticeable discoloration or fiber damage.

@@stormy8207 Because what you're seeing in the start of the video are decent-sized chunks of healthy dark soil.
If that rug was left outside, it would have been slowly consumed by that kind of dirt whenever it rained, but it would have been an even coat of mud that slowly increases over time. No weather condition throws dirt in the middle of the rug while the sides are pretty much spotless.
That rug completely looks like someone threw dirt on it and watered it everyday over the course of 2-3 weeks, there's virtually no damage caused by time or weather.

I'll admit, I was worried about the giraffe, since it seemed like it was losing it's contrast against the background. But you managed to clean it SO well that the giraffe popped out like it should, and thar's honestly really impressive! Kudos!

The oxygen booster really made the colors in the rug POP! Though we can't smell the difference, it makes me appreciate what that application means in getting the rug truly clean and usable again. That there was still significant silt coming out at 19:30 into the video was mind boggling, but, as usual, you got the job done beautifully.

Good grief, I have a 3rd comment 😂 I would love to see a Q&A video where you answered some questions, such as what are the worst stains to clean (I would assume smoke damage), how long does an average cleaning take, how many times do you empty out the water trough during a cleaning, which stains smell the worst, etc. I would love to watch something like that. Maybe others would also?
Thanks for such a wonderfully entertaining channel! From Tennessee, USA

I remember your trough cleaning video from a while back, and you said you'd have to clean it out more regularly because there was no way you'd want to deal with that stench ever again. I really hope you've been keeping up with that, because the only thing I could think of while watching this is how badly the grime from this rug would stink if left to fester.
