- Ronaldo has been quite a subject of controversy and debate. A lot of people can't stand the Steven Universe character, and others feel indifferent. But one things for sure...he's a lot smarter than he acts. He has foreshadowed the Diamond Authority, the human zoo, and even Lapis Lazuli. Now it's time to talk about the other events he may have foreshadowed that have yet to take place. And there may have even been a major hint towards the whereabouts of Pink Diamond in the latest episode, Rocknaldo.

I think it's funny how much the Steven Universe fandom hates Ronaldo when they happen to act a lot like him.

Maybe when Ronaldo says "a million tiny crushed up gems" for his Gemsona it corresponds to the shattered/forced fusions in the Cluster. Maybe the fully formed cluster will be called Bloodstone. I don't know it's just a guess.

Sucks to be a minority in the fandom that actually likes Ronaldo. Hate him or not, you can never call his episodes filler since it's well known that he's the show's plot device to foreshadow future story plots.

I always found it strange how chill Greg was when Steven came to rescue him from the zoo. He kept putting it off and acting like it wasn't important, I was wondering if he was being brainwashed or something to become as clueless as the rest of the people there, just that it didn't have full effect of him yet.

I think the humans that were originally captured would have wanted to pass down history and culture, even if they couldn't explain everything. Oral retellings of events and proverbs have been a thing for thousands of years. To me it makes a lot more sense if their desire to know human history or to innovate was brainwashed out of them.
Even if the current Zoomans didn't need brainwashing, the Zoomans which were kidnapped during Pink's reign would have been. If we assume the brainwashing were done with the water, earrings, or fruit, then the implement is likely still in place.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the "Guitar Dad" post on the KBCW tumblr most likely references the episode "The Message", where Greg is able to turn the noise produced by the wailing stone (audio) into a video signal (electricity).
Unfortunately, this could be easily missed, as "Shirt Club" ended up airing in season 2 -- a month after "The Message". The canon chronology has it occurring the other way around. "Shirt Club" was meant to occur two episodes behind "The Message" according to the production codes.
Intrafacial86 also the "shoot and spray rock people to make them disappear" seems like a callback to the cat fingers episode to when greg sprayed steven cat monster down
It can't be a reference to Cat Fingers because Ronaldo doesn't callback to events that happened already unless it's a cross-post for a current episode. And besides, Steven wasn't in a disguise, his form didn't disintegrate and he wasn't exposed as anything afterwards. I think it's alluding to something else
Maybe Greg's music will be the key to reversing the Diamond Bomb effects and restoring all the Corrupted Gems. Centipeedle said she saw lights and heard a strange song from the sky before she lost her mind; Greg has the Earthside skills to decode Gem tech and possibly duplicate it.

I think lapis has the ability to control peoples bodies like puppets. Ronaldo's mind control is about having someone decide what you do and where you go, and since lapis can manipulate water is would make sense that she can control the water in humans bodies! It would also explain why she was sent to earth if humans are around during the gem war they could have been fighting in it, and if you can have someone just start making them walk into cages instead of fighting I think you would want that on your side in a war/battle. Also Jasper said that Lapis was more dangerous or that steven should be afraid of lapis more then herself.

I never thought about the water thing before! It makes total sense! Greg became set into the schedule after staying for a few days, and the crystal earrings were really pressuring Steven to get into the water!
I really think that maybe the "guitar dad" reference was alluding to the episode where he used his sound equipment to convert the sonic waves that were coming from the communication tool in message recieved, where he turned the sonic waves into sound and video, ie, electricity.
When you were talking about the snake people I remembered in the episode "Lars and the Cool Kids" Buck Dewey, Mayor Dewy's son, said snakes are cool when referring to Lars's shirt which had a snake.

Near the end of 'the zoo' Greg falls asleep when he's supposed to be breaking out, so maybe the minerals were starting to effect him.

I really like the theory that part of pink diamond is in lion. Remember the episode where Rose had like seven lions? Maybe she put a shard of pinks gem in one of the lions, and that's why lions has all his powers. It may not be true, but I like to believe it is.

Ok so first of all- my brain jumped straight to the sound that happened right before the bright gem corrupting light.
I've been thinking lately that Gems may influenced by sound or other wave types, and the show is HIGHLY musical anyway.

And then i was like- Wait, I wonder if the reason Rose was so interested in Greg initially, was because he was on the beach playing music. I mean, of course she had more reasons once he got to know her.

I'm still upset that Rocknaldo wasn't Ronaldo getting psychic ghost powers via an encrusted gem like Lapis or the sand gem. I mean, Garnet's Universe was the closest thing to spoiling that Garnet was a fusion without outright saying it, and in that same episode, the only other consistent character to exist in the story was Ronaldo, who gained powers by using a gem. It's something that was teased early on in the show (the same time that he called the Diamond Authority) and the fact that they used him instead of another character created purely for the episode can't just be nothing

I think that yellow diamond wants earth to die because of the pink diamond incident or because they think that rose is still on earth not knowing about Steven and wants the cluster to emerge to destroy rose and the other crystal gems(or maybe both and I know this was irrelevant but I had to say it)

The Snake picture comes from an old political comic "Join or Die" by Benjamin Franklin. I think the meaning behind it is basically "If you refuse to join in defense of America, then America will be lost". I think that is taking an old political symbol and using it for jokes in the show, but it may come up again in the future in a "Join or Die" situation where everyone has to work together.
Given the latest reveal, I do think the diamond on the dollar bill is a sneaky foreshadow.

I guess it could be argued that Greg was the snake in the garden of eden when he visited the human zoo. Maybe snake people is meant to be taken more symbolic like that.
