I use a very small piece of blu-tack. Tapered at one end. The pointy end is for zoomed in shots, the main body of it lines me up for unzoomed shots (your reticle actually shifts up a few pixels when zoomed in). Might also want one for lining up your vehicle fire.
Gotta give you major props man, what takes you 18 min on LASO takes me a damn day to complete on normal legendary. And I'm really good at the Halo games. The part with the damn Liche grenade jump jetpack part and the part where you glitch through the rocks into the building always pisses me off. By the time I finish this campaign on Legendary Ill never want to play these missions again.

If you can't make the upper ledge, you can sprint jump, then JP to the lower ledge (the rocky part), then JP up to the platform, but you will have to run past a Knight (which usually doesn't kill you).
You can hide pretty handily behind one of the pillars that has a turret spawn on it. Once they start mobbing you, there is a box-launch you can do, but that's really hard to get right.
Um, LASO Weekly Challenges (if that's what you're talking about), DEFINITELY required the Mythic skull in Halo: Reach. All but the 1st one allow you to leave off blind however (because it's a bad skull). For H4, if you want the Emblem, it's ALL skulls.

Seriously no one else has seen the weird tiny covenant cruiser at the end of this level? It is up near the Infinity and is just floating there. You can even see it in the end of this video. Its @ 18:23
Also i think new archive codes are in the new sp ops vid, when halsey accesses infinitys computer the oni symbol appears followed by some numbers. Posted this thought on waypoint last night, let's hope the codebreakers can come up with something.
If you just sprint, through the messed-up rock, and jump as soon as you see the other side, you just have to pulse the jet pack, until you reach the lower level. Jump up, from there, and you're done.

Hey, just when I was trying this, I noticed another glitch that can make this speed run even faster. At around 8:30 where you are standing, there is an invisible wall on your left. If you keep trying to go over that thing, the thing you are suppose to destroy (gravity well?) will automatically explode. Then you just wait a few seconds and then jump jetpack to the lich. This is what happened to me. Lucky find :) And yes, I didn't shoot that thing. Not even once.
today was not my day to try Reclaimer on Legendary (yes i'm still doing it, was in matchmaking the whole time). the Lich kept glitching on me. first it wouldn't come down low enough, so I restart the mission and it did it again. so I try this skip and the damn core is invulnerable. will try again tomorrow; I hope that update today didn't "fix" the Lich sequence.
i by no means intend to be rude in any way but last time i attempted the glitch in shutdown and there was a kill boundary and i was epicly trying to escape and died. thanks!
I make a reticle on my screen. I'm philosophically opposed to taking away a player's reticle in the game. I can still aim without the reticle - it's just practice - but I prefer to fight the enemies rather than my own controls.

Took me 11:00 minutes i was trying to go pacifist but i got 2 kills by accident with a grenade and John Parkes, it still works i used that to avoid the battle.

Same here. I can make it through all of the jetpack mountain climbing, but once I pass through the rock with the messed up collision model, I can't figure out how to avoid either getting trapped under the geometry of the next section or falling to my death beneath the level. :(
Your disc is damaged. Try cleaning it or failing that, resurfaced or even replaced. I'm assuming you haven't installed your Disc1 on the harddrive - that can help against this sort of thing.
I was finally able to do the lich this morning. I jumped on it from another angle and it blew up. I think this level is so glitched that things like this happen randomly.
OK, I've got as far as the lich on solo legendary but when I get to the lich it randomly drops through the world! It reappears when I destroy the forerunner gun but I can't destroy the core for some reason. What's going on?!
So I forgot laso, I remember doing it in reach and at the moment I don't have Xbox, but is there a skull that restarts the entire level when you die? And if you're in co-op doesn't it go to the last checkpoint if one person dies
See, I like to think that with missions that are really "broken" like this it's the people designing the mission basically saying, "we know this mission is going to be really hard to do legit so lets make it easy to skip everything!"
Guys, I tired to do this mission yesterday, but for some reason I couldn't. It would load up to around 87% then restart, and after failing 1-2 times would say "player failed to load game. may not have downloadable content". all the other missions except reclaimer worked fine, and I have all the dlc, but I don't think that should make a difference. I even went back and did the end of infinity, but rather than going to the next mission it just kicked me to the main menu. Any help please?

My friend and i did laso, we did it before we even knew about skips so we shot and fought our way through every single level on Mythic difficulty.

Target the Beam Cannon long before you get close to the Lich. It has a tendancy to fall through the map and become invincible.

You jetpack straight ahead. You'll come out of the darkness in time to be able to take a pit stop at the horizontal beams.
Go to Waypoint, check that your stats for each mission show a game where you completed the mission with all skulls on.

When I do the sniper alley skip and I jet pack over that big gap it always says return to battlefield, even though I got the checkpoint
You need to target the thing before you jump to the lich, its working, done it for 1 hour ago! SUB!
This is still much faster than anything I could do.
I really don't know man. Getting forced out of the Ghost while trying to cross the streams of death was frustrating too.

Go to my main channel, /rcvgs and find the legendary run for this mission. This video was never meant to be a guide.
The last rock on Sniper alley(just before you see the forerunner room) is not there. I can't seem to find it once i jump down from the higher rock.

Anyway, the Shutdown glitch worked for me when I did it last.
You have to get a checkpoint first then the rock ledge will spawn.

Yes, but you are capable to reach the place, there's a zone that alows you to pass without the timer.
How do u do the wall glitch I've been able to get through the wall but haven't been able to get on the platform could someone tell me what to do
