Whenever I visited my relatives living in a village 50-70km away from my own village,I could sense a cultural differences . There are many small festivals like Vatsavitri ,and women there worship in some different way as compared to women here. Forget about villages , worshipping practices many a times change from families to families. Yes I have herd of one Sati in my family by word of mouth . My family are from pre - partition Punjab . My grand father and great aunt told us as children about this young beautiful young bride who was forced to commit sati . It was probably in early 18th or late 17th century ,when the Punjab was raided periodically by Ahmad Shah Abdali and his bands marauders . This lady was left alone in her Haveli when the menfolk were fighting the invaders . They combed the villages for loot and rapine . When confronted she fought bravely for sometime but later hid herself somewhere and then burned herself . All the elders of the family spoke reverently about her because she did not surrender though they did not condne sati as a practice . I come from the well known Bakhshi clan of Rawalpindi district now in Pakistan. I was bornin1947 in Lahore and came to India along with all Sikhs and Hindus in that year . By the way I too am an avid student teacher of history . This just a snippet of oral history of my family .

There was even a gold disc inside the kaba in mecca which basically thanked and noted that King Vikramadatiya for helping the arabs, bringing them out of darkness and sending scholars etc to help them, educate them etc.

Sir, I am greatly influenced by the fascinating revelations you make in your podcasts, especially about ancient Indian civilization and history. Can you recommend me some reading material which a beginner like me can start with to start their re-edication journey w.r.t. Indian history and civilization. My goal is to learn more about India and form informed opinion about it.
Read books by RC Majumdar..Sanjeev Sanyal has written two books on indian history both wonderful..other book for indian cultural history is by A.L. Basham..
@Abhijit Chavda Sir, I'm very interested in this 'Sati Pratha'. Even some of Bengal's greatest writers mentioned "sati dah". There are some historic paintings of 'Sati' in Rajasthan. My take on that was when Muslim rulers used to rule India, some barbaric incidents used to happen like kidnapping and molestation of newly widowed women. So to stop those nuisances sati was introduced in society. What do you think sir about this?
#AskABHIJIT 1)Sir in what way the kingdom of Maharana udai Singh and Maharana Pratap different from other rules of that time? 2) And can you tell something about bhils warrior who were hundreds in numbers but stopped Akbar's army of lakhs from crossing the forest to the chittorgarh?
Q1) Sir, Could you please tell us about Lahore and Karachi's etymology and its history. Q2) Is it possible that an Indian Union(like that of the European one) is formed and we unite again? #AskAbhijit
Hey. Would you support a possible South Asian Union with countries like Pakistan & Bangladesh, given their well earned rapport, having the rights to speak on Indian & Indic matters? It'll be a massive opening of gates to our fort, of which the walls seem to be crumbling since Nehru era. We certainly will lose much greater than what we might gain. Pakistan is anyways a temporary state of affairs. Only a matter of time 3-4 separate states emerge after the failed experiment of Islamic Republic of Pakistan disintegrates. 🙏🏻🤙🏻
@@siddhantsingh578 Hey Siddhant. Actually, it is all about cooperation and meeting the times with the correct form of negotiation and understanding amongst our divided civilization, now various nations. Bangladesh and Pakistan are definitely turned Islamic Republics now, and would not change their status anytime soon. The idea of merging them with India, in the present scenario, is too far-fetched, but yes, a possible 'BHARAT UNION' can be formed amongst which the countries would allow free trade, free movement, with definite restrictions in mind. Yes, terrorist infiltration could be a threat, but if the agendas are met, and each nation understands the menace of it, no other thing would be great. The idea of having a direct flight from Mumbai to Karachi or Delhi to Lahore is itself so refreshing. We, from the very beginning, have not been taught the importance of our united civilization. Lahore was as important as Delhi, Karachi was as important as Calcutta. The trade, the resources, the food, the history, everything is being left out and kept away from us, although it belongs to everyone who is a part of this great civilization, who are now in various divided nations. I hope it clarifies your doubt. Jai Hind.
@President of The Union of Bharatvarsh Exactly what we require. I hope the 'BHARAT UNION' is a reality in the coming days. Amazing Work @President of The Union of Bharatvarsh

There's information about King Vikramadatiya in a library in Istanbul turkey of pre pisslamic history. There was even a gold disc inside the kaba in mecca which basically thanked and noted that King Vikramadatiya for helping the arabs, bringing them out of darkness and sending scholars etc to help them, educate them etc.
Ahoms have the most well documented history it's called Buranji...there was always 3 views of history during that period so the it's a true account and not prejudice... Ahom gave most importance to Buranji
U r doing a great job sir, keep it up. People need to understand there origin
Thank you for Caring for India and Indians.

Kashmiris still use Saptarishi samvat, we don't know much about it but our elders use it, and this samvat is not used by any other Hindu community maybe they use it but I have not seen it mostly they use Shak samvat.
Well done sir..keep enlightening and awakening people of their history..the least we can do is..be proud of our selves and have that uniqueness, oneness associated with a great nation called as Bharat

Sir thank you
Sir, I am greatly influenced by the fascinating revelations you make in your podcasts, especially about ancient Indian civilization and history.
What do you think sir about this?
you gained a new subscriber sir❤
Really good video
SIR PLZZ TELL US SOME MORE ABOUT KING HEMU VIKRAM AADITYA , WHAT IF HE WON THE WAR WITH AKBAR HOW WOULD INDIA BE UNDER HIS RULE
On an Abhijit Chavda binge (3)
The way first question resembles to the theory of Wanar sena being niander thuls🙌🙏
