Nice to see Pams family getting together. Lee, we’ve had a camper for about 18 months and I refuse to take it back to the dealer…I fix everything myself being a home and commercial builder for over 40 years. Another great video guy’s, thanks for sharing your life with us!
Hi Dave! You said it! We love the challenge of fixing things ourselves. The only thing we needed support with so far was the broken AC Unit. That was a complete replacement, so that doesn’t count in our books. LOL. We always say, it’s just a $10.00 part that’s broken, you just have to find it. 😀
This video brought tears to my eyes for the generational family ties. We love your findings re Class C vs towables. We went through that experience recently. One of our “RV” friends is also German descent who came to the USA with her American husband 50 years ago. They were inseparable until his death 2 years ago. She did not continue RVing. We would love to show her you and Pams videos. But we are afraid that your happiness will give her sadness. May you and your family be blessed with much more happiness.

LOL. Don't wait until you really have to go, that place is HUGE. Also, they carry Banana Puddin. I mean, nobody does that. They get us every time we stop by. There's Lee walking out with Banana Puddin and a smile. :)
This video is my second favorite. This is because of your stop in New Braunfels. My wife and I wintered in the New Braunfels/Sattler @ the Lazy L&L on the Guadalupe river. The really cool thing I noticed is when you stopped at Cooper's for BBQ you parked in the exact same place we did. Wish we could have met up, we could have had some fun. If you're ever there again, there's a little food truck in Statler called Don Chentes, I swear they have the world's best breakfast burrito...and their other food is great too. And the best burgers ever is right up the road in Canyon City (Lake) area there is a little roadside burger stand called Canyon City Grill. Absolutely fantastic burgers! Anyway, that's enough, I already miss Texas.🙂

Then they kept asking us what else Elvis did while he was there. I told them, he camped in his RV. Now they want to go to Graceland. LOL. We love to find local restaurants in each area. Another great Video! Always good to meet family! On our class A and our old Class C, I added the Camco Propane 4 port tee with hoses where I could hook up a 20 or 30 lb tank to use. You can also run your grill or other LP appliances off of if need too. Rving is always a learning lesson! Keep up the great videos and travel safe!

Lee my husband and a propane tech added a fitting to ours and we could add a small external tank for when parked also could run grill it was well done and worked great and saved those trips. Love the video wishing you fun travels.

I knew there were some german immigration in a few states, didn't knew about Texas City name, bakery, Black's BBQ has a german slogan. Even the GPS is in german ! 😁 And top it all, the KOA neighbours are german Nice family reunion 😃

We definitely are. They are taking Spanish as well. Their OMA speaks only a little bit of English. They are really getting fluent in German over the time we have all spent together.

Never go to Bill Millers! IF you don't want Texas rain, wait til mid June-Aug when it becomes an OVEN! In Texas it is New "Braun-fulls".
Texas heat is infamous. We like to steer the RV Northbound when the temperature starts to rise. LOL.

Save the propane by using a space heater for heat. Only use propane for cooking and frig when needed.

My Jayco Melbourne has automatic leveling but engine must be off. The emergency brake doesn’t matter.

We parked it in Camp FIMFO Texas Hill Country in New Braunfels and just took the Class C for a weekend trip to Galveston Island.
