Thank You Anthony!!! We like the Q&A videos because it gives us a chance to just chat and talk about so many different things. One of the questions that we get asked a lot, (that we didn't cover much on this video) is about brand sponsorships and promotions. Bottom-Line "You are more important to us than any trinket we can get for free!" We don't like doing product placements or promotions because we keep things pretty basic and don't really need much. Most people that start RVing don't have thousands of extra dollars to spend on upscale mattresses, ebikes, water filtration systems, and more. After a long day of RVing, who wants to watch a commercial. LOL. One of the biggest responsibilities that we have on our channel is transparency. If you see us doing it, then you might want to take notes. Thanks again for your amazing support! Best, Pam & Lee

Thank you! We wanted to see if others wanted us to make more shorts but it sounds like jumping on that band-wagon is for other channels. 😀 We might make a few just to capture quick travel events, but we definitely aren’t shifting our focus. Thanks again!

You all are doing things just right!!! I love that you are doing it your way. Do not conform to the way others are traveling or presenting their content. I don’t like how some of the channels are doing the same thing as if they have to compete. I also don’t like their inflated drama at times. You all have something to offer. We aren’t out there watching because we want everyone to be the same.
You are real and genuine and I thoroughly enjoy your videos each week. (The shorts are too short for me!)Your having fun living your life and are kind enough to bring us along!! Thank you, safe travels…..❤

Thanks Jill! We see a lot of that in other channels as well and we want to make sure that we get great feedback along the way so we can align with what everyone wants to see. It sounds like letting the world pass by and being ourselves is the real answer. 😀 Pam and I see the drama sometimes and we just shake our heads. RVing is an adventure that comes with Pro’s and Con’s. We love them both. Showing you the whole picture is the most important to us. Safe travels and thanks again for the great support. Best, Pam & Lee

I'm retiring November 30th. We're pulling our 39 ft. Keystone Raptor 352 to AK next year, probably leaving July 1st from north Texas. We have been to AK numerous times as we have a daughter and son-in-law in Anchorage. I made the drive in 2013 with her when she moved up there for a job but there was not any sightseeing on that trip other than looking out the window. That changes this trip for sure! Home in late October maybe! The Northern Lights are on the list for September before we head home.

That is a little toy Shih-Tzu sleeping and reminds us of him. Our youngest daughter walked up with that in her hands when we were shopping and said “Rocky is sleeping”. It melted our hearts. I really appreciate yall’s honesty in all your videos. I can’t imagine the grind of maintaining a channel. We started full timing this summer. I’ve done it a short stint in 2014. My girlfriend works from home, and I’m a travel CT tech, so we are stationary 13 weeks at a time. I mentioned y’all to Heather when we got set up at our current location a couple weeks ago when we had a 2 1/2 hour travel day in the rain and said I have mad respect for y’all 😂. Thanks for the channel, you all do a great job!

We watch because you are giving us the type of video we want. We love your family, we love your way you tour the places you visit and all you add to the program. I especially like the way you tackle your repairs. You don't just call for help and we get nothing out of it. You never claim to be the "expert" and this is the only way to do it. You seem to analyze the problem and seek the best way you think it should be resolved. You do not seem to have a defeatist attitude on anything. I have been in television production for 55 years and don't see any real changes you have to make. I am, however, a stinker on audio, as I have written you in the past and you have responded. I would like to see you each use a wireless lapel microphone. I think you will like the change in quality. Make sure you do your final edit with a good quality speaker so you can hear minor problems. Headphones are great, but good size speakers will help identify things you are not aware of. keep up the good work.

    • @discoveryboundrv
      @discoveryboundrv  ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Don! Thank you! We have taken special interest in your previous comments regarding audio. Believe it or not, audio is absolutely our weakness. There is so much that goes into aligning every clip that we cut, splice, fade, hook, etc. that the audio is always an issue. Pam always hears me complaining about the audio and then we just say….we give up…post it. 🤣 Let’s just say, we are producing the best quality videos we can on a tight schedule and shoestring budget. We overwhelmingly appreciate your feedback and experience. It’s nice to have someone point out the technical aspects. That way we can add it to our checklist of post production edits. Thanks again for the great support and safe travels. Pam & Lee

I don’t know why you don’t have 100,000 or 200,000 subscribers by now but in a selfish way. I’m glad you don’t. Your videos feel more intimate. I hope to see you on the road. T-230 days but who’s counting! Lol.

Thanks Steve! You’re the best!! Next summer is coming fast! It will be here before you know it. When you have no idea what you’re doing (like us) the truth and innocence shines. Truth-be-told, our videos are never on time because we make them on Saturday and sometimes we don’t finish editing until after lunch on Sunday. Right after we post the video, we take the kids for ice cream. Sometimes we use the ice cream store WiFi.😀. We don’t do it for the money or fame so there is never any pressure. Thanks for the great support! We’ll see you on the road soon enough. Best, Pam & Lee

You can always be camp hosts and get paid doing that if you don't mind staying in a place for 3 to 4 months

    • @discoveryboundrv

Great point. Thanks Jim. We actually thought about that, but we don’t like staying in one place too long. 😀 The road is calling us and there are so many places to see around the corner. We do like to spend about a month in each location to really explore the area. That also cuts down on RV park prices as well. Thanks again, Lee

Hi Jeff, we haven’t traveled too much in northwest Tennessee. We mainly pass through the eastern side. We will make a point to venture that way. Reelfoot Lake is now on our list. Best, Lee

Local storage in the area. We take it out on the weekends to venture out to various different places.

LOL. That stopped working a long time ago.

    • @discoveryboundrv

Basically, we just get tired of resetting it. There are so many power outages as you travel around from park to park that now we just ignore it. We have another clock hanging on the wall that is set to Pacific time. Same thing…you just get tired of resetting them. 😀 That’s what our phones are for. LOL Good eye by the way!

I realize you considered your options of 2 nd rv and selling it because of loss of money consider this if you keep it you will put miles on it if you keep it it will devalue because of age if you keep it there’s gas , insurance the process of dealing with a second rv from this day forward if you keep it your losing money because your keeping it so you won’t lose money mmm! Seems a bit ironic now that’s just my opinion

I hope yall keep doing what you are doing...
I have watched many tubers that started like yall... BUT when they got a little fame they slacked off... now there mostaly infomercials & narrated Flashbacks of things they've done 2 and 3 years ago... Not really worth watching anymore... I hope that never happens to you guys❤

Thank you. We agree. We see that too. Truth-be-told we travel so much that we actually have way too much content to share on the places we visit. We try and keep it less then 30 min for each episode. We also try to break it up with Top 10s to keep things interesting for others. We have a lot of things in the works and will be sharing soon. Don’t worry, No infomercials on this channel! 😀 Safe Travels, Lee

Honestly, if you go to short videos you’ve lost a viewer in me. I’d much rather spend 15-30 minutes sharing and enjoying your adventures once a week than 1 minute every day. Please, please don’t go to shorts!

Congratulations on the new rig! We hear a lot of people talk about “just go camping with what you have now”. That’s great for a weekend trip, but if you are really traveling then the right layout means EVERYTHING! I’m sure you guys are experiencing that. It changes the whole camping spirit. We have actually met a lot of people that didn’t like RVing because the rig they had didn’t fit their camping style. We always say, take your time. It’s that important. Thanks for the great feedback and safe travels. Keep us posted on your adventures. Best, Lee
