just for the heads up, both of these archetypes are pretty low tier still, doesn't mean they aren't fun to play with, Nouvelle is more recent and has a lot more options and more to do than Suships though
These archetypes are pretty low down the ladder but they sure as hell are hilarious and fun! If memory serves correctly, there was a guy that attended a nationals wearing a full on chef outfit and was running the sushi deck. And to top it all off, his cardboard mat was a themed chopping board complete with themed sleeves.
They can take games off the best decks, but they're not good right now. Both decks have strong battle phase effects, but they require a fragile main phase to play, which is before the battle phase. Their combos are also too fair, as in they're interruptible and require 2 or more cards in hand to do a full combo, whereas most of the modern decks do a 1 card combo
@@DragoSmash I differ, I managed to put together a suship deck capable of always winning the dice, that has a greater strength playing second and with which I managed to defeat decks stronger than mine. However, it is not a version that I have ever seen, I came up with it after a lot of trial and error.

Good power level for a more casual and fun match, I feel like I could show this to even a non-Yu-Gi-Oh fan and they'd like it. Nouvelles and Gunkan are such a fun decks. Adapting their respective restaurant keeping as gameplay is great. I love how Nouvelles go with "selecting" fine foods ang going up the course meal with the ability to keep it in theme with the same meat (or switching for threath assesment) as well as theming the field spell as: Opening restaurant (get the recipes ready), switching plates back to the kitchen if it's not up to head cheff's (the player) standards, and ending the turn by removing the empty plates, and getting then back to the kitchen so you can keep going with the day.
Oh, this was actually a pretty fun matchup. Both of these decks got to do interesting stuff without negating each other too much. Had a lot of fun watching!
Shari red doesn’t activate its effect on summon. In fact because it’s the same effect, in the chain link you special summon the red and summon another guy from deck. The literal first play was illegal
This is fun duel, I love playing with both decks. Personally, Nouvellez is far stronger than Suship. But here, it looks pretty close (because of some big illegal play). This is the sign for Konami to release more Sushi. Because with more consistency, this deck is really funny, especially for the interaction when you play it on paper. . But, let me correct some mistake. 1. Shari Red, Shari Red can only reveal other Shari (because Shari Red's name always be original Shari name), also if you summon a Suship from deck. You have to XYZ summon Gunkan XYZ that mention the special summoned (from deck) monster. If you don't want the instant XYZ, you cannot summon it from deck. 2. Suship field, it must burn first, before you can special summon Shari from hand and Instant Xyz. But, I think you remember about it in the last turn. 3. Suship Rank-5 (Uni) is permanent negate. Yeah, I understand this kind of effect is rare and not many people know it. So in this duel, the Restaurant (Nouvellez field) is still negated even after that turn. 4. About Lv. 6 & Lv. 5 Nouvellez ritual (their names are too difficult to write). The "tribute opponent's monster" effect is not a Quick Effect. But it only Quick Effect if you special summon them with Nouvellez monster's effect. Cannot Quick Effect if it ritual summoned with spell.
Hopefully we'll get michio mokata in duel links and have his alt deck nouvelles and shock Shingo (Sylvio) sawatari that hungry burger is an archetype now!
Did I miss something or how were you able to Link Summon Dyna Mondo to the Main Monster Zone? I play this card in my Nouvelles Impcantation Herald Zaborg deck as well.
Ok since when can we summon link monsters direklty in the Main monster zone without an link arrow pointing on it and since when are you allowed to draw cards in the turn you activated prosperity ?
That's what it is, Yugioh started as a parody of mtg in a manga about tabletop games, but it was so well received that it became the sole focus of the series and was eventually made into a real game

Favorite thing as a non YGO player is I have no idea if these decks are awesome or trash but I'm just here for the insanity.
Honestly once you see vanguish soul mirror you will understand how funny they can be.
