I wish the government would take better care of it though
@@matthewraphael I heard that they are building a new capital.
@@footmobonline It's terribly planned, another modern charcterless glass skyscraper city that isn't walkable built only for cars without anything unique except the expensive real estate, with the additional twist "Compounds" : neighborhoods with walls around them to further separate the population, and if you need anything go to the mall, there are no stores. And did I forget it's 60% green as if we aren't having a water crisis.
@@matthewraphael Well, that's terrible.
I ain't really a fan of non-walkable cities, that's why i usually prefer Barcelona over typical American cities.
Also it's weird that government officials prefer Modern architectures 10th century architecture.
Have you ever been to Monte Carlo? It's a really beautiful city with narrow roads, and nice walking & cycling lanes.
@@footmobonline I would love to go to Barcelona or Monte Carlo and many other great cities someday, I pesonally prefer cities like Florence, Rome, Toledo, Lyon or Paris but I really can't afford it. I'm only a middle class Egyptian.
