Today we Drop the Fuel Tank from a Workhorse Chassis to Replace a deteriorated Generator fuel line on the 2003 National Dolphin Motorhome. Should be the same from 2000-2007 models.
Great job John demonstrating the procedure to drop the fuel tank to gain access to replace the fuel line. Good tip using fuel line type hose clamps. Have a great weekend! 👍
Interesting to see how you droped the fuel tank and then replaced the generator fuel line hose on this motorhome. I enjoyed in full to the end. Thank you, my friend.
My '04 Dolphin 6342 has almost the exact opposite setup as yours with both the propane and generator on the drivers side and to the front of the coach.... But I've gained a lot of insight to do mine from your video... If you've got about 70,000 miles on your coach you should have replaced the fuel pump while you were in there... Thanks for the help.
John, thanks for sharing the steps it takes to drop the tank on a WH chassis. Do you recall seeing an EVAP pressure sensor on the top of the tank's fuel pump assembly? My sensor has stopped working but not sure where to find it.
Sorry Larry, I did not notice it. But I would assume something like a EVAP pressure sensor would be more close to the engine compartment? What type of engine and year do you have? If I find out I will pass it on for sure.

Thanks Kirk good to hear from you 👍 Subs are just a show LOL. if they were real I should have at least 5000 views the first week I upload a video, Instead, according to my analytics I get more views from Non Subbed than Subbed 😂 In which I have no problem with. Same goes with likes and comments. Hope you're doing well my friend and doing some RV traveling you mentioned a while back!
@@JohnCRV I used 2 Husky 2”x 27’ 3300lb from Home Depot. You can use them instead of a jack to lower and raise the tank. I have a 75 gallon tank that had about 15-20 gallons in it. I also lowered it onto 2 small 2 wheel dollies from HD. I already had those on hand but you can also use just 1 large doll
@@JohnCRV on my rv I had to wrap them around the leaf springs. I didn’t have enough room to hook them to the chassis. I know there are rvs that you can hook to the chassis. You just have to use what you can.

I'm beginning to think I should have done that. Where did you order the new fuel pump?
Always great to learn from you, you are really a great teacher. Thanks
I appreciate that!
Thank you for your expert tips, so beautifully presented! I enjoyed watching and learning.👍

Thanks for the visit. A little tight but better than a car.
Ratchet straps! No need for a jack.
Sounds interesting. Do you mind sharing details of what kind and how many...
Thanks you for the feedback.

@@emeraldkind Good info... I'm assuming you wrapped the straps around the top of the chassis. Sounds like another way to do it. Thank you!
