Madame Sew has hear removable pens with extra refills so it's a finer line. I LOVE them. They come in a set of 4 colors with extra refill for each color pen
I love it. Mrs. Quilty boxes look good. I made log cabin cushions with piping around them a couple of years ago when I went to our Sewing Guild's annual sewing retreat. They are fun to do. Love Tommy's new lounging quilt. I made a puff quilt for my daughter's dog.....not a good idea. The little minx ripped some of the puffs but luckily I was able to repair it. Log cabin is a much better choice.
Yes, Tommy would totally do it if left unsupervised... The smaller the naughtier... Dobby, my Portuguese podengo is twice his size and has never ruined anything in his 12 years of age
It is a happy quilt. I have some animal panels which are about 6,5 inch square. They would realy combine well with this fabric combination. Especially the greens would be nice with it. My first quilt, a table runner was made from log cabins. A realy lovely pattern.
I’ve said it before I like Mrs Quilty who I found through you Sandy . There are negative reviews from some , but this company has made huge progress in the quality of their fabrics. I haven’t gotten this box but I wish I was lol.
Bonjour madame je regarde vos vidéos qui sont très intéressantes mais je ne vois jamais combien de centimètres qu'il faut mettre coucou de France 🇫🇷 Reims pays du champagne 🥂🍾💐👍
Another great video. Log Cabin is a great block. Very versatile. You can mix and match light and dark or do your rounds in same light or dark. I did one top in jelly rolls I used blacks and grays. It is special. I also find the variation in the pattern to be pleasing and I had trouble deciding which to use😊.
Fabrics and quilt were beautiful. I find that every time I try a log Cabin block, it goes all wonky and never straight lines. I try to be so careful with my cutting the strips and my 1/4” seams but alas, still wonky😢.
I stopped using a quarter inch foot years ago. I move the needle over instead and get much better results. I also use the walking foot for even sewing. The reason for moving the needle and ditching the quarter inch, as revealed by another sewer, is that only a part of the feed dogs get used, which skews the fabric as it goes through (yup!!!!) My seams/ joins would also snag causing more bad seams. Now I sew over the entire feed dog unit which keeps everything uniform, and with the walking foot I get great results ❤ Just have to remember to move the needle❤❤

Bonjour. Where I live, in Portugal, we also use the metric system but because most of my audience is in the US and inches are just so much easier to measure, I chose to do it in inches. But if you happen to have a ruler with both you should be able to convert it easily. Or you can do a quick Google conversion. I hope that helps. Merci.

Doing it cutting this way seems easier. I get mixed up when I cut all of them first.
Yes, me too 😁
I have never done or seen rolls sewn directly onto batting like you did. I’m going to try that. What a great idea!
It's quilt as you go! It's fun, saves time and it's perfect for those projects you don't to quilt over. You'll love it 😁

I'll need to check those out, thank you

@@seweasybysandy 😂 I think you may be right. Gemma's dog is small and wrecks everything!

I agree, they've upped their game considerably. Well, if you have the service, you'll get it soon enough, they roll out the boxes in order.
Approved by Tommy! Love it!
I have made more log cabin quilts than anything else. They are so fun to play with, design wise.
♥️👍🤓
Yes, he loved it! I'm totally hooked on log cabin quilt blocks, they are so cool 😁
I find log cabin to be a fun pattern to sew and the finished quilt layout so pleasing. Thanks for the video. Cute dog! 🐕

Sweet!
Tommy is a lucky baby! 🫶
I’m surprised this is your first log cabin, definitely not your last 💘
Hopefully not the last Tommy content either?
Thank you, I hope not, he's always around when I see anyway 🥰

I would love to have a Mrs Quilty box, butthe do not ship to Denmark. 😢

I find that my 1/4 foot with the guide helps in keeping things straight..do you use one of those?

@@andreamaclachlan980 for me it's not about the seam size, it's the guide I can use to make sure the fabrics are where they are supposed to
Mrs quilts is a scam, cheap fabric and the patterns are not what is advertised. Rubbish in my opinion
Mrs quilty don't ship to Canada.
Hi. They do, just select the country at checkout.
Although I love what you make, Mrs Quilty isn’t for me, I was disappointed with both shipments
Thank you! I'm sorry to hear that, I think the new boxes have greatly improved.
@ what shows up on my door step looks nothing like the advertisements or in your studio
Fancy making a quilt for a dog? Really?
