That is one resilient phone! A case and a screen protector is still, of course, a good idea, especially if you're clumsy.
👍
Definitely, but I really want a case just to reduce slips. These phones are way too smooth to hold or be placed somewhere where a vibration could send them tumbling
@@smittyvanjagermanjenson182you could also put a skin on there
1:51 that train...
lol yup
Shoud do a corner drop test aswell, that's how every screen ive ever broken has cracked, every single one.
yeah, its nonsense to leave out the critical scenario. For the shown test, he should have dropped them to gravel
Great test as always. I have a galaxy s23. I'm very happy with it. I work construction, so I have a good case that covers the charging port, so no dust gets in. The ultra is too big for my side pocket.
Thanks
Yes same.. i have compact phone to my job
For me the ultra is also too much for my pocket, if you know what I mean 😂
Do you use screen protector?
Yes I use a screen protector.
I'm curious how the glass holds up when you let objects fall on to it
Well glass is glass soooo
wow, that was impressive 👀I definitely want an S24+ drop test. :D ty for the video!
You're welcome
You should do a drop test in gravel or rocky area that jagged edges.
Great tests!
I was sure the drop would break the screen, but that's one nice design for the S series this year.
Thanks! yup 👍
Bro can you shake the phone and check after the drops? Mine started to make weird rattling noises after it was dropped..😅 I hope it's just OIS but the sound is just too loud and noticeable but I never checked it by shaking before the drop so can't be sure.. It'd be really helpful and I can verify that glass doesn't even get scratched even after multiple drops including granite & gravel 🙈 but this rattling sound is surely concerning
We need also plus version
This is the plus
Also Samsung galaxy s24 plus watet test
@@lukebennett.This is not plus
😂
U Need Psychiatric Evaluation...
I am confused that shall i buy samsung care+ or not for my new s24 plud 🤔
buying a new phone is better than sscare
Someone has to do these tests... they're still painful to watch though.
👍
You're the best! Keep it like this! Thanks for your time and effort. Great video as always.
Facts, no marketing lies!! 👏
Which one do you think is harder: Samsung galaxy s24 or iPhone 15 pro?
Why these huge brands do not go for a Kunlun Glass or something similar?? They prefer customers spending considerable amounts of money on new back and front panels, no matter how much they have already paid (for a resilient product, among other things)
Thanks. Not sure, since I personally haven't dropped an iPhone 15 pro. As for the Kunlun glass, yep more manufactures need to use tech like that. Not sure why they don't.
@@PBKreviews it's never too late to drop one! I'll stay tuned! Hahaha. Cheers!
Hello..can you do the test for Zenfone 10?
I want to see s24 plus teardown video...thanks
soon
@@PBKreviews nice
Thanks for confirming. The screen on my S23+ cracked from a much lower height. Rounded edge provides little support at screen edge.
Upgraded to S24+ for durability
👍 you're welcome
Amazing test...we need te S24Plus test too!
Thanks. Don't think I will be doing the S24+ drop test, would be pretty much the same results plus it won't get as much views based on past experiences to justify doing it. Just going to be doing a teardown on that one.
Damn, in slomo you actually see this beast cracking the concrete 💪
👍
Which type of case is recommended in this phon3?
I recommend torras brand. That's what I use for mine. Very thin case with raised edges to protect the sides and the screen of phone. I also used the same brand case for my last phone the s21
Not too surprised to see the base version survive the drop test as it is much lighter than either the Plus or Ultra. It's the weight that makes a difference
Huge respect to that frame, its so dang strong!
In terms of size in the hand that is tested that Samsung s24+ may you lack in writing the title
I bought S23 month ago, when I see Europ version with Exynos, difference is less than 10 persent, for " normal" user is the same phone. I take original Samsung rugged case with card holder, best bild case i have ever seen. I also work on consteuction aria, bigger phone than this, hard to dont brake it.
👍
Lets see the s24 plus ! If it drops and lives as the smaller one..
Only going to be doing a teardown on the + since it will be pretty much the same results.
Do you have a Moto One Macro? If so, make a video opening it and showing the BROM Mode points, I have one and it is Hard Bricked... If there are errors in English, it's because I'm using Google Translate. I am Brazilian.
nope don't have it.
1:51 i love that train in the background awesome S24 is really tough guy and more comfortable to hold in hand lighter than S23
👍
What abt s24+?
Could you do a bend test in the next video? Thanks ❤
S series never had any problems with bends. Its probably solid as usual
I usually don't do bend tests much since it's not really accurate. All depends on each persons strength and how strong they bend it. If I had a bend test device or machine that would be exactly the same force/pressure every time on each phone, that would be a different story :)
Speed test s24+ 8gen3 vs s24+ exynos 2400 pls
doesn't matter.
You are part of the problem. There is a noticeable performance difference and especially heat and battery difference. Samsung loves sheep like you who ignore this problem forever@@dmitry.sh.8946
Looks solidly built that I'm temped to upgrade from my s21..plus the screen much better display now.
👍
Background garden very beautiful
👍
And this is why you need a case... Don't understand these people that don't want to use a case.
A case makes the phone feel bulky and looks ugly
The only difference in terms of durability is that the S24 uses Armour Aluminum 2 vs. 1 on the S23
When the 24 is the real premium of the trio.
👍
Poor s24 my dream phone.. Still using s20 fe😢
I though it was the s24 plus. Bro, your hands are small. I appreciate you speaking english rather than "bullshit english to increase video lenght because i dont have anything else important to say". 😂😂😂
👍 :)
What A Sad Waste...I've Had 2 Accidental Drop Test With SAMSUNG Devices...My SAMSUNG GALAXY A03S & SAMSUNG GALAXY A23 5G...
What color is this? 🤔
Is it black? It seems dark gray..... Not black!!
onyx black
Why not the sand test that you usually do?
will be in the scratch test video coming soon
Very nice, thank you :) @@PBKreviews
Just got the s24+ from the s20+. After watching the first drop test of the 20+, i immediately ordered a case. I'll still get one for my new device, but overall, I'd say this is like a 500x improvement, as I remember the S20+ becoming completely unusable after one drop
👍
And he speaks like a robot. Cheers
Its on the flymode...
Which is Better Samsung s23 or Samsung s24
24
Cool vid!
Thanks!
I'm curious how would you monetize this to substitute for the amount of money needed to purchase this device? It also lost tons of its values with this drop and I can only feel you as a content creator that every video of yours is just too expensive to make.
Yep, they are expensive to do. I make more of a loss on most videos than profit.
Fgĝg
@@PBKreviews hope you all the best in your future career
I'm still gonna keep mine in a case cuz I can't deal with frame damage lol
please dont do this.. if u can give me. I dream all the time to change my Galaxy J8.
Why can't I find your iPhone 15 drop test??
I haven't done a 15 drop test
Damn that's good and I'm prob gonna buy the s24 plus
👍 :)
@@PBKreviews I might get the 23 plus now because s24 and s24 plus has exynos in my country.
Great
I don’t know how they make such tests. But, in the real life, if you drop a phone from 1,5 meters, with a case and a protective glass, it falls on a corner, and you say goodbye to the screen.
My s24+ has gone down the stairs hitting at least 3 of it's corners with no case. I have a tiny ding on one corner and the screen is fine. I've since put a case on it though, not trying to tempt Fate 😂
Amazing!
👍
Very impressive.
👍
Now you can barely see the difference between this galaxy and an iPhone.
As a s24 owner, it's very painful to watch
Thats Rather Amazing That The Display Didn't Crack...
i have otterbox case and screen protector.. i think my phone can survive anything 😂😂😂
teardown poco x6 plss
soon as I'm done with a few more videos.
Who's going to walk around with no case lol
Me, I payed for a colour. I'll use my colour.
Well don't drop it lol 😆
Me watching this after I dropped my phone even though it didn't crack
phones seem always to drop on their corner rather than flat - and they ALWAYS crack
the S24 hit the corner didn't crack, also phones like the mate 60 pro don't crack even if hit with a hammer.
You are not dropping it you are throwing
Nokia 3310 killer.
👍
Give me the phone and I probably would throw it on the floor that the glass will crack in one throw you're out someone had to call the doctor 😅😅
lol
nice video bro. thank you for sacrificing instead.😢😢
thank you
I just upgraded from my 6 year old note 9 which has dropped at least a hundred times, to a galaxy S24. I've had it for literally 3 days. It fell 3 feet off my desk onto CARPET and the screen cracked up like crazy. $112 to replace it after filing a claim with on AT&T's website. :( I'm sitting here like "do i even still want this model if its so easily broken?" and then I find this video of you dropping yours on concrete outside and i'm just like wtf!
Yep, all depends on how it falls and which part of the screen it hits etc.
This makes me not want to drop the S24 once i get it, 😂
Oh, this hurts me 😂😭
Impressive
👍
I'm Surprised the Galaxy S24 did better than the Galaxy S24 ultra
Yup, the galaxy s24 ultra screen isn't 100% flat and has rounded edges so probably makes the glass weak around the corners. Also the glass on the S24 sits more flush with the frame and flat, vs the S24 Ultra.
Amazing
👍
Samsung better use SD GEN 4 in all of its S phones next year.
Obviously they will continue to use their own processors.
If they wanted to continue the S23 series processor allocation, they would have. From now on, they'll a for galaxy processor for the top phone and sd/exynos for the others.
I think they will fully ditch snapdragon at some point if they ever surpass qualcomm , I hope this doesn't happen because even if cpu gpu npu is good , the modem will be trash, Qualcomm makes the best modems by far
They will use Exynos 2500 also for ultra models in s25 series,so cry Exynos hater
@@wheelyflactheir difference actually isn't large as other Exynos models, actually Exynos 2400 is better in cooling system compared to new iphones, and good processor for camera, games, also emulators
Hello
Hi :)
Samsung i love u
Watch from pakistan 🇵🇰 dude
👍
hello can you do the redmi note 13 pro+?
Hi, I'm not sure if I will be doing that phone, but I will be doing a teardown on the Poco X6 5G which is a rebranded Redmi Note 13 pro
@@PBKreviews okey cool thanks🥰
Nice
👍
Looks fishy🤔
Just give me the phone and stop doing that😢😢😢
Dem some weird shoes
😮😢
Waoooo..
After the first drop, the frame is absolutely trashed and he says no real damage, what a joke, not the phone, but the guy. 😂😂😂
If you consider a few scrapes or scratches on the frame trashed, then that's on you. Real damage would be cracks on the screen or severe gashes in the frame/breaks in the frame. The only joke I see is your grammar. Try working on that first before trying to "trash" on someone. 😂
@@PBKreviews As a non-native speaker, I think I am all right, to be honest, I also checked it by Grammarly which made an absolute mess, so I am going to correct it. And yes, I definitely considering a scratched frame with visible indentation as a problem after one drop with the premium phone. Joke
That's so wrong 😂😂😂😂😂
Boring as hell, when the s22 came out, suddenly all tech destruction TH-camrs like everythingapplepro, techrax, gizmoslip, and cnet other stopped drop testing Samsung phones and now only this god domn weirdo is drop testing everything ughhhhhhh😔
:) well if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to watch. The fact you take the time out of your day to say something like that really says a lot about you. Wish you the best.
@@PBKreviews thanks:)
Queremos video del galaxy S23 normal. Con esnapdragon 8G2
Buy a car and chrashtest it pls.
