I just got my seat cover for my '04 TL today, and I got it installed in a few hours. The hardest part was crimping the hog rings with needle nose pliers, (I was too cheap to buy hog ring pliers), but, I got it done. The cover is on, the seat is reinstalled in the car, and it looks perfect! Thanks guys!

Great quality, as good as original, I would buy ONLY from these guys. I did the seat bottom, took me a few very hard and frustrating hours, this project is not for the faint of heart. WATCH THE VIDEO, they described PERFECTLY how to do it. GET THE RIGHT TOOLS, I struggled with pliers and needle nose, next time I will buy good hog ring pliers. You get what you put into it, be patient and be diligent, then it's totally worth it. Gonna do the seat back soon, but I'm gonna buy decent hog ring pliers...learned my lesson the hard way.

im confused on your site. it says OEM option as leather/vinyl. but upgraded as full leather. arent the oem covers full leather to begin with?
Hey Carlos, Thanks for reaching out and yes that is a very important question. So all Factory OEM seats are made with Leather inserts (any where your body touches while you are driving) with vinyl sides (Either underneath or where the seat controls are) All Leather is our custom option since we have the material and the patterns we also have All Vinyl option for the same reason. But to answer your question for a true OEM almost the Majority will be done in Leather/Vinyl combo. Please let me know if this helped
Hey Carlos. The OEM leather interiors in the majority of vehicles are leather on the seating surface and vinyl everywhere else. Exceptions, for example, are the King Ranch Fords and the Platinum Escalade. You are not alone, most people believe that their leather interior is 100% leather (as did we when we first started this company 12 years ago). The manufacturers use vinyl to obviously reduce cost. I have a pretty significant tear on the passenger seat of my 07 TL so I just went ahead and bought a whole bottom insert. Would I be able to replace that myself(mid 20s female with limited tools and experience) or would it be easier and less stress to have a shop do it?
Yes. To both of those questions. Hope you figured it out. Next time, just a suggestion, remove the fact that you're a female from the equation.
Do u know the procedure for removing a driver's seat to prevent airbag from going off when disconnecting?
Assuming you have an electric seat, you first move the seat all the way forward and remove the two rear bolts that hold the seat to the floor, then all the way back and remove the two front bolts. Position the back rest so that it is about 90 degrees; I've found that position is best for seat removal. Take off the head rest. Now, disconnect the ground cable from the battery. You can now get under the seat and disconnect the cables. Don't expect that part to be as easy as it sounds as those connectors can be very difficult to disconnect. Same goes for the cable clips that hold the cables to the chair, but worse case you can just break those. The seat has some weight to it, maybe 50lbs depending on your vehicle, so be prepared to move a decent amount of awkward weight. Also, keep in mind the metal frame at the bottom of the chair can easily gouge the plastic interior, so be wary of that steel near the plastic while removing the seat. DO NOT reconnect that negative battery terminal until the seat is back in the car and the cables are plugged in or else the airbag will deploy.
I am replacing the top cover of the driver seat an TL 2008 and the plastic part of the frame broke when I was pulling the back trim panel off. You showed on your video a black long piece of plastic that you were screwing on the broken part to fix the problem. Where can I get that and what would be the name of that part.
Thanks for reaching out, so that plastic piece was actually never manufactured, what we did was take a plastic piece and shaped it to that section by adding the screw holes and plastic christmas tree tabs. What we can do for you is send you a similar plastic piece generally around the same size but without the cutouts. How do you do the back seat? We are actually almost done with the back seat but the center seat belt holder is hanging us up as is getting the center backseat armrest back in.

They now have the 2004 TL drivers seat bottom. I sent mine in and bought a brand new one from them.

Hi Oscar, at first we thought you were referring to the top/backrest section but you are meaning the 2nd row correct? If so we will hopefully have an option in the future but we are focusing on more driver and passenger vehicles that are not available yet on our site. Thanks. It's not really mandatory for me to do it right away. I can wait until quality OEM seats become more common. The TLX is still a pretty relatively new model, it just came out in 2015 so I think I need to give it more time.

Currently, we only make products for the Acura TL and MDX at this time. We won't have anything compatible with the TSX, we wish we could help you out!
