1. Driver's door pin locks all doors, 2. hold unlock on remote to roll down all windows and turn key in door to right to close all windows, 3. Acura name is under front license plate, 4. leave lights in on position and unlock on remote turns on lights upon return, 5. rear turn signal form an arrow, 6. center console stays cool with A/C on, 7. selected side mirror will tilt down in reverse, 8. to factory reset the engine and transmission control system turn ignition to first position floor accelerator for 35 seconds, ignition off then start car, 9. if car is off but still in drive car goes to park automatically (maybe), 10. car has blue foot-well lighting.
Car does not go into park if it’s turned off while in drive. Accidentally twisted my key fob and turned off the car the other day while driving. I just turned her back on and kept going lol

The "cooled" center console is also a plus because it cools the center console cup holders. So if you're running the air in the summer and have a bottled water in the center console cup holders you're water will stay cool.
OMG I did that transmission reset and I just wanna say thank you! When I got this car and for a full year it amazed me how hard it downshifted like its always wanting to race. Same with up-shifts it would wind out the engine and shift hard. I thought all this time Acura was intending for the car to drive aggressive like this out the box. Now with the reset it shifts so much smoother and cruises at 80 mph barely over 1500 RPM how a luxury sports sedan should! not like some hopped street rod holding at 3000 in 4th all day. In hindsight the previous owner must drove like a mad man. Sometimes I used to have to slap it in manual just to shift it up to 5th....Thank you again
Kinda funny because I did this to my '08 TL last night (bought 2016 / one prev owner) and it now feels like it's in sport mode but my efficiency is the same.
im new to this, and don’t know terminology but would this help with automatic transmission with manual gear switch (go back and forth between auto and manual)
The best looking TLs is this generation, aggressive body, wide fenders, dual exhaust, it's just got an aggressive beautiful look, with the right TL wheels itnlooks even better , I put these wheels in the video on my 2004 TL a color paint matched lip, looks so good. The v6 also is pretty dam quick
@At Trask hey! I know im very late to this, but I wanted to say I run a 06 tl and would happily answer any questions you have on it. the car uses premium only so gas tends to be on the higher end, but with prices around the 2.80 side (give or take a few cents) it generally runs me around 40-45$ a tank, with mileage being around 27 hwy/19-20 city
07 TL Base, 104k miles. the engine control/transmission reset definitely worked for me. the shifts became noticeably smoother, sometimes i don't even feel the shift, especially from 3rd to 4th. also, about 2 times per week i used to experience a jerking(not sure what the cause was, probably transmission) when lightly accelerating around 1700-1900 RPM and it would go away after letting off the gas pedal but sometimes would happen right after. . It's been over a week since the reset, , and I haven't experienced any jerking at all. i think everyone should try the reset, youll be glad. plus it's so easy to do. the only downside that remained, which i was hoping would be gone with the reset as well, are the downshifts in manual mode to first gear, even if you were in second. the shift to first is a bit rough, kicks a bit. but it could be a factory thing.
The rough downshift to 1st is because the gear ratios are vastly different 1-2 and because of the way the transmission is designed. You're going to cause damage if you continue to downshift like that. The factory strategy goes 4-2 while decelerating and under 5mph or something, will finally downshift to 1st which is seldom noticeable
I understand. I'm talking about using the Manual mode , so for example I'm slowing down, 4-3-2, I'm already at like 10-15mph, maybe even slower, at this point I let the car shift to 1st when it wants to, and the downshift that the car does by it self when I come to the full stop(if I shift it , it's much smoother, it rev matches more) is rough. Just a rough engagement. If I drive in D mode, there's no rough engagements at all. I can feel the car downshift and go thru the gears but it's not rough. It just has a sporty feel.
I thought you meant you were pulling it to 1st in manual mode. To explain why you're feeling that, I'd have to get into the theory of operation of this particular transmission. If you're in manual mode while accelerating, I would recommend letting the computer handle the downshifting. Brakes are cheaper than transmissions. Now if you're switching back and forth through gears, fine. But deliberate downshifting is not the best for this type of trans.
I have an 08 TL. Theres also a aux input in the center console right below the outlet port. I hooked an aux cord up and bought a little Bluetooth adapter and connected it to the charging port. Comes in handy for wirelessly streaming music from your phone.
Oreos Funintentions yeah I tried to unlock mine and lock the driver side manually to lock all the doors and when I unlocked it with my key the alarm went off? I just got this car today
It also works when you put the key inside of the actual socket and hold it over to the left and then you can hold it over to the right in case you don't have the key fob and you just have the regular key it'll still do the feature with a chip key or a spare
I’ve the 2004 with nav. That car was so far ahead of its time that the only things I miss are backup camera and iPod integration. And so fast with Vtec. Besides some recalls for the wiper motor, the temperature sensor, and some kind of tranny fix (all free) the only problems were the stupid backup feature on the side mirrors and the AC compressor, which went out and cost me nowhere near what he quoted to fix. 14 years later the car has cost me about 2K in maintenance not counting oil changes (synthetic always) and tires. Of course, I gotta be honest. I retired 4 years after I bought it, so it’s only got 51K miles! Probably my last car, and a great one. Update 3 years later: replaced the timing belt and transmission fluid. The timing belt is supposed to last 90K miles, and now I’m only at all of 55K miles, but note, I got it replaced after 14 years! Time takes a toll on rubber components … and yet, all the hoses are still good! But the audio amplifier is dying; it’s at half volume. I’m replacing it with a used eBay unit $95 plus shipping, a pretty easy job involving removing a kick panel and 3 bolts. It would probably take a pro 25 minutes- that means 3 hours for me. : )
Great car. Picked up in 11/17 a mint, one owner, 2008, with Nav and 68k miles for 10k. Totally in love with this great car and all the great features. Rock on Classic Acura TL. 2009 was a total butcher of this awesome sporty design.
I was fortunate to recently pick up an immaculate '07 Type S in white with just 60k miles. Even in the year 2022 this car packs so much features, not just in sheer quantity but the quality of its implementation. I'm continued to be positively surprised and impressed by all the well thought out designs. I always felt Acura has peaked in their design with the 3rd gen TL but now having owned one, it has also proven to be one of the best designed on all fronts.
Hey man awesome video! I tried the transmission reset on my 04 TL I just got and it totally made my transmission shift so much smoother. Drives like a new car now. BIG time thanks!
I’ve replaced multiple ac compressors using rock auto for 160 up to 200 bucks. Even got the ac compressor, ac condenser, lots of O-rings, UAC R-134a and ac expansive valves for under 300 (all made by UAC) never had any issues. But I will say in my 2008 Acura TL base I’ve had to replace it twice but the 2nd time it was under warranty. Only draw back is having to reinstall it. But overall Acura’s are amazing cars!
Another feature I discovered awhile back is a way to turn the day headlights off while parked. You have to start the car with the e-brake pulled up and the headlight switched to off. It's nice if you're trying to be stealthy >:) or just chilling for awhile. As soon as you put the e-brake down the lights will come on. Thanks for the vid tho. I kinda knew most of it but I probably should since I've had the car for like 6 years lol Im curious if that tail light arrow thing was intentional by acura. Either way its a cool new way to look at it
About the AC. My AC went out. Took to a AAA/NAPA certified shop. They wanted $1700 to replace compressor and evaporator etc... Said I'd be back after thinking about it. Went to a mom and pop shop near my house. They found a blown fuse under the hood and told me they keep a supply of these fuses because of these cars(Acura/Accord). Cost $100 because system check and fuse $80, tip $20.
Hard to imagine that the dealer told him the compressor clutch is not replaceable without the whole compressor... Stator Set for the compressor clutch (P/N 38924-RCA-A01) cost less than $100. #12 on this chart: estore.honda.com/honda/images/parts/catalogs/EA/14SEP401/Estore/illustrations2/SEP4B5700A.png The best part is that you should be able to replace the clutch without touching the pressurized refrigerant system. Sounds to me they wanted to up sale bigger repair. If the compressor really does not turn on and this is the problem with the clutch I would certainly repair it - it is a shame for such a nice car to have a faulty A/C!
@@przemekiwa3443 yeah as soon as he said that I was like ???!did you turn it on and tap the clutch with a screwdriver handle. Did you test the connector with a test light? Your posting car tech videos, did you watch a single TH-cam video about A/C diagnostics?!
On rainy days with wiper on...put car in neutral press brake pedal to self activate wipers While car is off...turn headlight/drl to off position and pull handbrake... light will remain off until handbrake is released To check how miles left on tank of gas - select trip once it shows gas mileage press the bottom arrow to show number of miles before tank goes empty and up arrow to return to previous mpg screen. For slightly better wide open throttle response turn off VSA
Yes there's a Torque Steer Reduction in VSA that can reduce torque up to 30% in 1st gear, and yes you can feel the difference, but losing VSA/Traction Control is not worth it for everyday driving.
Such a beautiful car. Thank goodness my dad got me into the TL. I got a 2013 Acura TL advance white ext black int for my 20th birthday. Such a nice car. So comfortable. EXTREMELY reliable. I never want to get rid of it.
I had a 2006 TL and absolutely LOVED it. Such fun to drive and all these little extras made it the best car I ever owned. However, after a year of ownership (we bought it used), the transmission went. I paid $4k to replace it, then another year goes by and it blew a head gasket. Acura wanted $6k to repair THAT. I had to turn her out to pasture, but I absolutely will get another within the next year or so. Has to be this body style though.
my 2006 is awesome to drive. I love the sound of the engine as it accelerates, sounds like a mini turbine (to me anyway). I like the get up and go. I've had trouble now with the 3rd gear pressure switch twice and the transmission fluid seems to corrupt way less than 30K miles. This is a great car.
Omg, why would you take it to a dealership!?!?!?!? You could have a low mileage import engine shipped to your door for $1,000 and have it dropped in for less.
My 08 TL type S has red footwell lights along with red bezel and etc I was surprised by Acura’s little details on things like this. It’s those little thing that add up to an great car. Love my TL!
Im going to try out the transmission reset because my acura has 128k miles on it and I just got it. It shifts hard at times but hopefully the reset will help that issue and it'll be smoother to drive the car. TYSM for this video and useful info.
Get a 06-08 Acura TL never get a 00-04 tls they got terrible transmissions and will stall you on highway or anywhere dangerous ... but other than that these cars a beauty and drives amazing . Just maintain the transmission fluid and the car will take care of you
My 97 TL was a lot better looking than my 2006. My 2013 TSX SE is also sweeter than my 06 will ever be. But, that’s what’s so great about Acura. Everyone has their favorites.
I own a 2008 Acura TL and still looks so much better than these new TL’s. I wish they kept this body style and just made it more bulky, in my opinion. Instead of going more towards a bubbly body style.
This car is one of the most well designed and built vehicles ever made,in my opinion. Its fast, looks great, and is dependable and durable as hell!!!! Thanks Acura
great video, I knew all these except for the led in foot well area because I have an 06, another thing I wanted to mention which I think is really cool is that the windshield wipers slow down and speed up with the speed of the vehicle when on intermittent. for instance, if they are on intermittent and you come to a stop light, the wipers will delay wiping at the speed setting it's on until the vehicle is over 10 MPH again, it's pretty cool!
Which setting is that? Mine has like a wrist turning dial to speed it up and slow it down by twisting and then where you turn the whole thing and it's like a different set of speeds . I'm curious what position it needs to be in to access this feature.. tia
Just picked up an 08 TL Type-S and I love it!!! It has more tech than my 14 Focus ST and most noticeably is the nice natural sounding voice for the voice controls, my Focus sounded like a speak and spell!!! Just tried the window trick... AWESOME!!!!
Anthony Putzell i bought an 08 TL type s all black with window tint with cash and i’m in love with it. i just wonder how my eventual next car can top it. it’s seriously comfortable and fun to drive. and STILL the best looking Acura ever made
@@katerinmijango1340 yea sorry late response i ended up finding a 2004 one great price great power makes around 263 to the wheels fun car. May run into some suspension problems but its been a great car to me
wrong man. These cars use the same compressor as the Accord of the same era. I just replaced my condenser, compressor and expansion valve. non-OEM (I purchased Valeo and Denso, well known) works very well. Some of these cars are approaching 15 years old. no need to take it to the stealership. YourMechanic did mine, right in my driveway. I bought all my parts from Rock Auto. Great value!
Taylor Montgomery TLs are accords in Japan and Europe so engine components are interchangeable. like the old 92-95 civics with 94-01 integras. You're right.
IDK why he thinks that Gen3 TL's A/C compressors are unique. They are not. I wonder who told him that. He must be wholly inexperienced at working on Honda s and Acuras. I'm sure that he meant well, but its just incorrect. Here is the least expensive one that I could find in ten seconds or less: www.ebay.com/itm/A-C-Compressor-and-Clutch-for-Acura-TL-V6-2004-2008-Honda-Accord-V6-2003-2007-/192293612973?fits=Year%3A2007%7CMake%3AAcura%7CModel%3ATL%7CSubmodel%3ABase%7CEngine+-+Liter_Display%3A3.2L&hash=item2cc597adad:g:UQgAAOSw4YdYyihG&vxp=mtr Even the title declares multiple fitments: A/C Compressor and Clutch for Acura TL V6 2004-2008 Honda Accord V6 2003-2007
The 3G TL's are not sold in Japan; the TSX are the Japanese market Accord (Accord Euro). The 3G TL's share the assembly platform with Accords in Ohio. The MSRP for the OEM A/C compressor (I believe it is Denso or Keihin) is at about $700, and the electro-magnetic clutch is at about $95.
Oh my sweet baby Jesus.. man... I seriously can NOT praise you enough rn.. You are a f**king HERO!! LoL I tried the 35 sec reset thing, man, this car drives 100% better than it did when I first purchased it (about 4 yrs ago).. is feels like showroom quality in comparison.. thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank yooooouuuuuuu!!!¡
When you turn the car off and the car is still in drive, the car is not in park; the car is just still in gear so it won't move. Same thing with manual tranny's. There's no "park", thus "park" is the transmission in gear. Key is locked into the ignition when turned off in gear because there's no clutch for you to start the car in gear; must be in park.
You are correct, Adam. I know for a fact that automatic transmissions use a parking sprag, which is a mechanical lever inside, that physically locks the output shaft to the differential. ( Same for FWD) It is not in any 'gear' when in park. Since automatic transmissions and transaxles are hydraulic, no 'gear' will work w/o the car running. Unless your car has the automatic electric parking brake ala Mercedes, you can push any automatic trans equipped car, in any selected range except park. It will roll with effort. While I'm not sure why the poster's car didn't immediately roll on the hill as he described, it most likely would've eventually.
Adam, I believe you are understanding it correctly, maybe just using incorrect terminology. In automatic transmissions (and in this case Honda's 3 shaft auto, the parking gear is just a textbook square-toothed gear on the input shaft. A pawl locks the gear when "park" is selected. Since the input shaft and output shaft are mechanically connected via gears and not a hydraulic clutch pack in park, the axles remain locked. Engine off in "D" would allow the shafts to move freely with the exception of friction within the unapplied clutch packs.
You also don't have to hold the key when starting the engine, just give it a turn just like locking the door and it will start on its own. Took for awhile to figure that one out!
This may have been mentioned in other comments but for those who don't have AC compressor switching on, check the relay in the fuse box first. I was buying a an 04 with no AC an it tired out to be a bad relay. New relay installed and AC ok!
Nice video. I was told that the windscreen wipers have speed sensors built in where if you drive faster, they will wipe faster according to your speed. not sure if it's a 'hidden' feature but many tl owners I met did not know about that feature.
I miss my 2005 TL, it was truly a great car for it's time and still is. Maybe I'll look for a 2007 and 2008 TL as my daily driver and not put as many miles on my MDX. I knew of all these features which made me love this car so much, and really liked the bluetooth system compared to my MDX's as it loses connectivity when first getting in.
The Acura TL? Well the 04-06 had a much stiffer suspension compared to the 07-08. Some owners complained of too harsh of ride in the earlier model years, so Acura improved its suspension to make it a lot softer. I'd still recommend choosing a 2007-08 model due to the known transmission issues from the 2nd gen TLs getting carried over to the 3rd gen. If you really want best handling then move up to a Type-S which has a more powerful motor, suspension, and overall performance oriented in handling. Handling was superb if you have the right tires, I was in college when I drove mine for 3 years. But I had Kumho's A/S tires that were not the best for quick handling but overall great tire for longevity. When I bought mine it had 95k miles and sold it with 165k. A neighbor bought the car from me so I'll see it on occasion driving around, but I still enjoy my 2011 Acura MDX.
Thank You Sir, for the taking your time to give me these explanations. I really like and consider buying this car in the near future. You have a great day :)
No problem, glad I could assist. And as an additional resource, if you haven't seen or heard of a forum called AcuraZine. That was a huge tool in researched the pros and cons of the 3rd Gen. TL and the members there are very helpful especially the original owners. It's a very active forum sites, so check it out.
I have an 06’ and you can tell this guy did some work on the speedometer and the touch screen. Looks very clean though and he keeps good care of his car.
I have an 06 TL. What a great car! Except for the transmission repairs, I'd place it as a 9/10. I'm also a car connoisseur. You can tell so much by what a car connoisseur drives.
I have this same exact car....07 though. And my dash is cracked like a spider web. I would give up all these features shown here in exchange for a decent dash that wasn't cracked ....and not having the HFL not drain the battery if it sets too long without being started.
My 06 TL is stock and it is fast it is the base model and it is in mint condition no messed up leather no cracked dash no nothin it is like brand new and it has been in colorado forever I did take it to Wisconsin once and it fuel economy was surprisingly good
I liked the video and just wanted to add that u can roll windows up and down with key only, down ,turn key to the right twice and hold,up,turn key to the left twice and hold,I figured that one out real quick wen I lost my remote and it was 108 outside
Also for the window feature using the key, if you put the key in the door and turn it right to unlock the door that will also roll down your windows beside using the actual clicker
My 2004 suffered from a cracked dash, motor mount failure, hands free phone system failure, Nav screen died, auto transmission failure, and the fuse for the window washer would blow frequently during winter; all before 80,000 miles. The window washer pump fuse was also connected to the outside power mirrors and the auto dimming rearview mirror so those would stop working as well.
auto transmission failure is the only serious thing you listed. even then could be something as simple as a new filter or a flush. motor mounts are easy to replace with hand tools and a jack. your other issues are minor, most can probably be solved with a new MICU… and stop filling water where washer fluid goes dummy
There's also a blue LED light up by the front interior push lights in my 04 TL.. it illuminates the gear shift area and the drink holders, I believe.. 💙👍
A much better feeling is smiling, looking in the eyes of the jerk that screwed your wife as he slumps to the floor to bleed out on the men's room floor.
One thing I did noticed about your TL. You have an 07 08 TL but your speed cluster is from a 04 to 06 TL. The non type s model for 07 08 doesn't have the blue light cluster. This car also have the fog lights at the bottom of the bumper, also noting that those only comes in the 07 08 models.
You forgot to mention that you dont have to hold the key on the on position to start engine. All you have to do is bump the key to on, let it go and engine starts as normal. I noticed you were holding the key until it started no need to that in the tl.
I just picked up my 2006 TL with a 6-speed manual and 95000 miles for $5,500 I had to replace the driver side upper control arm because the ball joint was bad and the lower ball joint on the driver side I had to replace the O-rings on the power steering pump because it whine when I started it up it needs new tires a few other small things but these cars are amazing I'm very happy with my purchase I got all my parts from Acura parts headquarters best prices I could find they'll ship it to your house
Very nice vid! i love ur car i have a 2006 TL with Nav and love it! Did u also know with the wipers everytime u take ur foot off the brake it will do a courtesy wipe for u automatically?its pretty neat.. Keep the TL vids coming
Except the fact that the 1999 to 2003 Automatic TL and the 2001 to 2003 Automatic CL transmissions are absolute trash. That was the main downfall to them. I owned an 03 CL Type S with 170k miles and it had a trans replacement at 70k by acura and by 170k it was almost dead.
another cool feature is of you leave the key in the ignition and try to lock the driver the door by pushing the pin down it will automatically pop back up so that you don't lock yourself out of the car. Another security system related feature is that of you unlock the car while it is armed and don't open any doors before 15 seconds it will automatically lock the doors again and Re-Arm. Also when locking and arming after driving the light flashed faster for the first fifteen seconds, if you do something that would normally trio the Alam while this light is flashing faster it will not sound the alarm.
I have a 2007 tl type s....the mirrors automatically do the tilt down when I reverse and pop up the backup camera! I have recently had someone talk mad shit about my car like it's a piece of crap. But I've love loved this car and so many ppl think it's not a 2007! This car is hard to come by I never want to get rid of it
So the locking the entire car fro the knob isn't even just an Acura thing, my 98 Honda Prelude will do that as well. But loved finding out that my TL can lower all the windows, that's just awesome
Just saved me a whole lot of time thanks

The "cooled" center console is also a plus because it cools the center console cup holders. So if you're running the air in the summer and have a bottled water in the center console cup holders you're water will stay cool.

Kinda funny because I did this to my '08 TL last night (bought 2016 / one prev owner) and it now feels like it's in sport mode but my efficiency is the same.

the engine control/transmission reset definitely worked for me. the shifts became noticeably smoother, sometimes i don't even feel the shift, especially from 3rd to 4th. also, about 2 times per week i used to experience a jerking(not sure what the cause was, probably transmission) when lightly accelerating around 1700-1900 RPM and it would go away after letting off the gas pedal but sometimes would happen right after. . It's been over a week since the reset, , and I haven't experienced any jerking at all. i think everyone should try the reset, youll be glad. plus it's so easy to do. the only downside that remained, which i was hoping would be gone with the reset as well, are the downshifts in manual mode to first gear, even if you were in second. the shift to first is a bit rough, kicks a bit. but it could be a factory thing.
that's just the nature of the transmission. it's practilly impossible for a smooth downshift to 1st
Hm, now that you said it , I can see what you mean. Mechanically. Thanks

Haha...i did the same and it worked. Nice new info
This bit me in the ass one day. I had the keys in my pocket and it was raining outside...you can figure out the rest.
Same here, but with another video. Lol
and the tpms too, they added it until 05
@@erickhenriquez633 I had to look up tpms. I don’t have tire pressure monitoring. Maybe you meant the added tpms AFTER 2005?

Great car. Picked up in 11/17 a mint, one owner, 2008, with Nav and 68k miles for 10k. Totally in love with this great car and all the great features. Rock on Classic Acura TL. 2009 was a total butcher of this awesome sporty design.
2012+ are great.

Now I wonder if that's the reason that the TL has that issue is that it changes over time. Hrrrrmmmm...
What’s a transmission reset?
I’ve replaced multiple ac compressors using rock auto for 160 up to 200 bucks. Even got the ac compressor, ac condenser, lots of O-rings, UAC R-134a and ac expansive valves for under 300 (all made by UAC) never had any issues. But I will say in my 2008 Acura TL base I’ve had to replace it twice but the 2nd time it was under warranty. Only draw back is having to reinstall it. But overall Acura’s are amazing cars!
Just got 19" rims on my 08 and it looks amazing it's a timeless car
It really is a timeless design
the 3rd gen acura TL is my favorite. it looks like the bmw e46 m3. if i were to get a used car i would get the 2004-2008 acura tl

For slightly better wide open throttle response turn off VSA
There's plenty more just too much to list and explain
HoMiE327 wow good information never knew
Yes there's a Torque Steer Reduction in VSA that can reduce torque up to 30% in 1st gear, and yes you can feel the difference, but losing VSA/Traction Control is not worth it for everyday driving.
Turning off VSA is the first thing I do (when it's dry). What's the point in having the power if you can't use it?

TYSM for this video and useful info.

great video, I knew all these except for the led in foot well area because I have an 06, another thing I wanted to mention which I think is really cool is that the windshield wipers slow down and speed up with the speed of the vehicle when on intermittent. for instance, if they are on intermittent and you come to a stop light, the wipers will delay wiping at the speed setting it's on until the vehicle is over 10 MPH again, it's pretty cool!
I just discovered that on my TL and it is sooo awesome.
Which setting is that? Mine has like a wrist turning dial to speed it up and slow it down by twisting and then where you turn the whole thing and it's like a different set of speeds . I'm curious what position it needs to be in to access this feature.. tia

Here is the least expensive one that I could find in ten seconds or less:

The MSRP for the OEM A/C compressor (I believe it is Denso or Keihin) is at about $700, and the electro-magnetic clutch is at about $95.

No, this information is wrong.

How do the car drives? The handling?

My 2003 Honda Accord has the same widow feature I learned this from this video and gave it a try thank you 🙏
I can't get it to work on my 2004 accord :/
Very nice vid! i love ur car i have a 2006 TL with Nav and love it! Did u also know with the wipers everytime u take ur foot off the brake it will do a courtesy wipe for u automatically?its pretty neat.. Keep the TL vids coming
Yeah, but my TL does this, and my Pilot(Touring) does it as well. So not really a TL exclusive feature.
sgtdaye it’s a honda feature.
Just bought 06 I'm in love with it. 👌🏼
@@caposunappreciated9130 none at all
@@caposunappreciated9130 how many miles
@@caposunappreciated9130 oh ok yeah the person I bought mine kept it up real well.
just bought a 2008 Acura TL automatic also have a 2007 Acura TL type s 6sp
I have a tax 04 thinking about get a tl 08
I have a 2002 mint TL and a few of these features even work for the older ones! Thanks PAL!!

Headlight remaining on feature was awesome! Going to try this on my TL
really enjoyed the video great job! .. I'm looking forward to own an acura but I like the type S😎
hector morrobel just got myself a 2007 type S, she's fun :)
another cool feature is of you leave the key in the ignition and try to lock the driver the door by pushing the pin down it will automatically pop back up so that you don't lock yourself out of the car.
Honda/Accura have some awesome little features all over the place. I love my 2000 Accord.
You can start the car by just flicking the key to the start position. Don't have to hold the key in the position.
Too Soon Junior
does not work for my 06
Eric Manso yeah it might just be an 07-08 feature
Too Soon Junior damn 06' here too 😫
Dosent work on an manuel 07 tl-s
I have a 2007 tl type s....the mirrors automatically do the tilt down when I reverse and pop up the backup camera! I have recently had someone talk mad shit about my car like it's a piece of crap. But I've love loved this car and so many ppl think it's not a 2007! This car is hard to come by I never want to get rid of it
I love my Tl S Type. It’s a 6 speed and it has so many mile haha but shes well taken care of.
Im at 216k on my 6mt
bought my TL with 155k miles on it and I've had no problems besides moisture in the driver headlight. other than that I love this car.
Hows it holding up?
9:20 i'm gonna try that, i have an 07 TL Base, and my shifts are kinda wacky, ima see if this helps!!!! GRACIAS
Same here
Did it work?
Update?
So the locking the entire car fro the knob isn't even just an Acura thing, my 98 Honda Prelude will do that as well. But loved finding out that my TL can lower all the windows, that's just awesome
Jay Harrison my 95 Honda civic will lock all the doors if you lock the drivers door from the outside
Just bought an 08 type S with 150k for $6k I'm in love.
