🇮🇹 Italy travel vlog | Rome & Naples

Rome is one of those cities you see in movies and television so often that you can't help but have certain expectations of it. For me, the city didn't live up to those expectations. The reality is that the city is quite dirty and to be honest the vibes are not ideal. HOWEVER, we still managed to have a fun time. We visited a cat sanctuary in the middle of the city! We also met up with some friends we made while we were in Florence! After Rome we had a stop over in Napes. We ate some delicious pizza at a little hole in the wall family restaurant and we visited a castle.

I have been to Rome twice and I have never noticed smells but that is probably because I have been in Autumn and Spring.
I am shocked that you went to Greece and Italy in mid summer to be honest. Eeeeek!
You should have done your other UK trips whilst the weather was 25-30 degrees and then hit South Europe in October which would be 25 -30 degrees. Oh well. Hope you had fun though!
