- The second Bannerlord siege cinematic! Vlandia vs Sturgia! This is from my campaign and not a custom battle so as you may notice there are some things I can not change! Enjoy! :)

Impressive work. Here's my ideas:
Since you've done a nice duel between those two soldiers that ended with throwing axe to the face, how about having duel of 2 champions before battle, like in Total War: Shogun 2 trailer - th-cam.com/video/tQPLUyzVC9E/w-d-xo.html (missing background change ofc)
Also, how about scene with having a soldier disarmed who then draws a dagger and stabs his opponent to death.
And maybe have a two handed warrior pick up a shield and cover himself from arrows.
You know you play too much total war when you can recognise the voices of the generals.

Since when did strategy/ranged weapons become dishonour? If so, then I can call all of the vlandian crossbowmen "cowards". And yes, I didn't capitalise the "V" in purpose.

This by far one of the best I seen from you. Each one keeps getting better and better, I actually felt a connection to the story watching this. Taleworlds would be fools to not ask for your help when they go full promotion mode.

I love how the Vlandians sallied out to try and disable the ram before it reached the gate. My heart was pumping in hopes they would succeed, and wained when I saw their ranks try to regroup back into the walls.
4:57 When they open the second gate, i don't believe those Vlandian Sergeant are gonna sally out, cause a few dozens Men-at-arms not gonna stop thousand of Sturgian who already defeated them in the field!
And yet 5:11, i saw a shield-wall of Vlandian best warriors rushing into the enemy archer, bashing through with there mace & swinging there great-sword, i know those men will not defend those wooden gates but rather die bringing the fight to there enemy. "Man, those Vlandian are Mad!" - i scream out loud, "Keep your shield up Sergeant, hole them back!"
They acted too early, ram was too far out. Should have wait for ram to get closer
@@karamanid I thought the same thing. I didn't even notice the ram until after they fell back into the keep. They should've waited until they pushed it onto the bridge and rushed it slaughtering the crew and making it a huge road block for as long as tgey could while archers fired at it with flamming arrows. My strategy. Though I've never played this game so easier said than done. I know in Total war my units never do as I imagine or want to the letter. So you never know.

This is so cool. My favorite one is the duel between the vlandian and the sturgion on the wall and that throwing axe in the face was amazing. I do hope you could do more but don't tell us who gonna win please

Lol I was planning to use that scene for another moment but then decided to use it eariler than this, they tried to slow down the ram and give casualties to tier 1 Sturgian archers. xd (For the ending I thought to add a scene about reinforcements but then decided not to do)

Sir Raymond Wayneford was gifted the the Castle of Essen near the Vlandian-Sturgian Border in the wintery north. It was a dangerous position but one only given to the most daring commanders.
Rumors grew of a Sturgian horde closing in on the border towards Vlandia after the recent war between Battania and Sturgia ended recently in favor of Sturgia. Lord Wayneford sent Sir Martin Estermin to patrol the nearby woods close to the border. There he was ambushed and barely escaped with his life. He managed to save a quarter of his partial and warn his Lord of the large Sturgian force approaching.
Lord Wayneford rallied all available troops to the castle to prepare for a long seige. Being that it was already winter, the castle had been already stocked with food to last forcing the besieging Sturgians to attack.
After a few days of poking and prodding, Lord Wayneford sent a contingent of volunteer knights to charge the enemy center to taunt them into counterattacking the walls. A prolonged seige wouldn’t help Vlandia unless they could break the seige and rally an army. The sally went as expected with the knights perishing and retreating with the Sturgians in hot pursuit. And thus the battle commenced with both sides clashing and fighting with the strength of their souls. Sturgia pushed The Vlandians back to the inner keep where the Lord Wayneford held. His son dueled the Jarl himself and had managed to greviously wound him in honorable combat before the coward pulled a throwing axe and imbedded it into his skull, an action which would cause his own troops to remove his cock and end his family line for. Wayneford held the inner keep and managed a successful counterattack, retaking the castle and routing the Sturgian horde... at a cost

Well that's uncalled for. Secondary weapons were a thing and noone frowned on them in duels, let alone on battlefield.
Lol just imagine, medieval announcer going like: "Sir Rodrik killed Sir Wilhelm in duel to the death, but since rondel daggers are considered meta, let's castrate him so the future scrubs will learn their lesson and keep swinging their poleaxes."
The removing of the cock part near the end made this funny as fuck :D
@@KnightLincoln in medieval time, honor was the only thing you could not lose, honor was everything poeple did fight to death for honor, so i guess for a poeple like sturgian, it would not look out of place to do something like that, specialy when he did thrown a axe in a duel of honor " meaning no dishonorable action on both side" throwing axe because you are hurt and to save your life is extremly cowardly, and he is lucky he didnt get worst fate

Outstanding work, I'm really looking forward to seeing Vlandia and Empire troops clashing in a massive heavy armor duel. Just imagining Legionaries versus Vlandian Knights, oh sweet mercy it'll be glorious seeing two of the best factions slugging it out in massive line formations. Good work man, I hope to see more and keep up the quality because this is utterly music when on a surround sound with a 50' TV as a raise my glass of wine with a burning cigar to your name.

It happens on a daily basis in my Bannerlord campaign. Rhagaea's Simperials vs King Derthert's Banner Knights clash every day.

The Vlandian population, man. They grumble when they don't get given castles, they complain about how each vote is really just one King's decisions, but really, their loyalties lie in Derthert. When it comes to the point where they must defend him, they forget the insults they make about him, just shut up, and fight. And fight HARD.

Well, Vlandians are the ancestors of Rhodoks for a reason.
That had to be cut in from Multiplayer I don't think you can get that done in the regular solo game. It was Cool.

The Vlandians are the ancestors of Swadia and the Rhodoks. A civil war happened among the Vlandians and this civil war made the Vlandians, separate in 2 kingdoms, Swadia and the Rhodoks,but imagine the Swadians and Rhodoks forget about their past conflicts and become the Vlandians again... Vlandian Sergeant, with that 1 hit voulge, a Vlandian Cavalry being like the Swadian knight's, Vlandian sharpshooter with that Rhodok accuracy,The Lord's all using full plate... The Swadians and Rhodoks dream... What a shame they fighting each other in warband.

Also, I agree with your statement. Accurate Rhodok Sharpshooters to rain hell on enemy ranks, Swadian Sergeants to go ham on most of the infantry in the game(they even go toe-to-toe with Nord Huscarl!), Rhodok Pikeman to halt any cavalry charge and the famous Swadian knights on the wings. They would be pretty strong.

And yes, bruh I am a Swadian vassal in my current warband campaign, Harlaus have some beef with rhodoks that every month he's declaring war on them. The hell on earth is climbing a siege tower with hundreds of crossbowman in the castle walls, I have various fiefs so I can buy some pretty good equipment... My health falls to 50% even before we reaching the wall, it's a suffering.

Their high end units are very good, in fact they are better than most of other nations but their lower tier units are just trash..
Yeah, sturgia early game troops seen in video are weak... but shock troops and veteran warriors is the best infantry unit in the game imo....
Weren't the vlandians defending? Did sturgia have a higher number of troops or was it equal? If it was equal then obviously vlandians would of won really no matter what.

I think you need to be a faction ruler have a max charisma and max stewardship with the right Policies and I am not sure if the difficulty settings effect that and of course you can buff your numbers by having companions lead a sub command. Just Expect to take mare casualties from them.

At the end of the battle, cheer overwhelms all of the troops and they revel in their victory. But the commander stands solemnly, having lost so many good men...
... and yet, they will returned ... possibly, with event greater numbers. If the Sturgian want to invade there homeland, then this Castle will fall before the war ended. Not before the defender did !

*One thing that makes every fight scenes really engaging is the fact that every hit is visually stimulating, unlike in movies where they only show hits connecting when the scene specifically wants to show hits connecting while the extras in the background are just flailing arounds with their weapons and shields.*

I just want you to know that this is totally awesome, very epic, but imo there should be more episodes like that red counterattack, when this is not just a 2 sides meat, I mean those not actually duels, but when you can see how each soldier swing his weapon.
