This one is my custom map that I made just for this video. I'm planning to make the second part of it, (juggernauts) if I get enough views. :P The camera might be a bit shaky, as I mentioned before I record all of these scenes in slow motion with no sound at all, then edit it. The map and film look fantastic as always. To fight the camera shake, try adding a light WARP STABILIZER effect in Adobe Premiere Pro while editing.

A couple things I admire about this game is the combat and how each individual warrior feels different when you see how they fight. Also the war ambience and battle cries of each soldier when you give orders or zoom in to hear the swords clashing together. Another thing I noticed is that when you watch the soldiers carrying the banners/flags, when they engage in battle, they will drive the flag into the ground and pull out their weapon and start to fight. Very amazing details. This would be awesome in third/first person
I once had a dream, that I could see every great battles in [Romance of the Three Kingdoms] with scale like this. EPIC!!!

@Leon Lopez And just like battleships, they're effective use on the battlefield is overestimated.
@Leon Lopez sort of battleships didn't spook very easily and then ram the closest friendly ship in effort to get away, elephants had nasty habit of getting spooked really easily and then rampaging thru friendly troops to get away from what ever spooked them often causing as much if not more damage to the side using them as the side fighting against them.

I think the big companies like Banner Lord, Total War and other games should get you. You make these cinematic videos look like they are from a whole different universe. Splendid work!

In the actual history He was pretty old druing the conquest of nanman.
And he carried the whole fight
Zhao Yun should be an old man almost 60s when the conquest of nanman.
@@haydentse6526 At the battle of Jieting, when Sima Yi defeated Ma Su's entire army, Zhao Yun (styled Zhao Zilong) defended the entire army's retreat from Xie Valley on his own, whilst killing a few Wei generals and others. He should have been 70ish

Why is Zhao Yun using a sword instead of his iconic spear? I'm guessing it has to do with the stats to keep him from randomly dying?
And who are the other two generals supposed to be that are part of his army?
Thanks a lot ! :) Actually this is Zhao Yun's tier 3 item set and this blade is Blue Blade Sword, it was Cao Cao's personal weapon but Zhao Yun took it.. One of the generals is Dian Wei, the other one, who Mulu fought is not someone actually, just a commander. I used him for the duel scene. :)
Regarding zhao yun's sword it was a special blade zhao yun won during a duel with one of cao cao's general. He won it during lui bei's escape from cao cao before the battle of red cliff. This sword and duel in question appeared in the 2010 three kingdom tv series where it was shown to be able to cut apart literally anything

Blue Blade sword that can cut through steel like butter..the other generals were Wei Yan and Dian Wei
Do some more Bannerlord. Do the Battle of Pendraic. 3000 Vlandians, 3000 Battanians, 3000 Sturgians vs 5000 Imperials, 1000 Khuzaits, 500 Aserai. All on one battlefield. THAT would be EPIC!
I'd like to do that but I suppose we still can't play with more than 2048 men on the battlefield right? There is still time, we need to wait.. :)

How did you get all these longer kill animations?
EDIT: It would be highly unlikely that the Nanmans would win this battle. I mean, the Nanmans are my favorite faction in the game but, being realistic, the south would more likely want to ambush the heavily armored troops or, and I did try this tactic, they would fight a battle and do what's called a 'Faint Retreat' where you make the enemy look like you're retreating but then you ambush them while they're chasing after you. There's a couple of ways a 'Faint Retreat' could go wrong but, it worked for me. The lighter armored troops of the Nanmans would beat the heavily armored troops to the North on rare occasions when it comes to a PITCHED BATTLE (or for Total War fans, a land battle), due to their faster movement. I guess this battle was one of those rare occasions where the Nanmans won the pitched battle (land battle).

Dude great video!! Maybe one thing I’d add is a flyover before and after? Before so we can see how large the forces are which I think you did? But then after just to see how bad they got defeated. Or maybe I’m just dumb and can’t follow haha. Great vid though dude! Keep up the hard work!

I love how this expansion addressed my one main concern with Three Kingdoms; unit type diversity and costumes.
The base game is in effect a civil war of the long standing Han Empire, where most sides adhered to the martial standards already in place.
It was not like the Warring States, which had up to 800 years of divergence between the warring factions.
The southern tribes of china were then still mostly un sinicized cultures, many becoming today's Vietnamese, Thai and Hmong groups centuries later..
who now share more culture with han than their ancestors actually living in china then. Great video, even if the setting is a bit fantasy, i love it.
Austronesians was also listed by Ancient Chinese sources as "Nanman".

I'm sorry I can't understand, I suppose you ask which one was killed by King Mulu, if yes, neither of them. The one Mulu killed is just a commander.

Am i the only one who looks at this game and doesn't see it as a historical RTS like the other older Total War titles and more like a fantasy RTS from the Total Warhammer series
