I’m impressed, I need to say. Really hardly ever do I encounter a youtube video that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you have got hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the difficulty is one thing that not enough individuals are talking intelligently about. Im very pleased that I stumbled across this in my seek for one thing referring to this.
In the UK this drink is called barley cup, it's quite unknown though :) thus, I'm trying to make it by myself, because even if you find it it's unbelievably overpriced :/
Yeah... me too.... argh... i tried em all... but maybe making it at home, not these powder or "tea" things I've been trying... IDK. Here I am a year later. Hah! :D
Gracias! Well, I too like real cafe too. Always. Very much. BUT. I need to drink less cafeina. So, maybe I will try this. Thank you for the information! Ciao
I came across this property of roasted barely today while I was boiling malt for a stout I'm brewing. Glad to see some other people just jumped to the same conclusion I made.
cuoredicioccolato I'll have to get back to you on that, I made some alterations to the recipe so I don't know how it will turn out but I'll keep you posted.
There is some debate amongst coffee roasters whether the beans have to rest for a day. I still am not sure it's necessary but many professionals insist that it is. I believe he was just following this line of thinking.

Hello, I am a Korean who enjoys drinking coffee In Korea, each family has barley tea made with drinking water. This barley tea is roasted without peeling the skin and boiled in water I followed your video to enjoy coffee without caffeine, but I don't know what the problem is because it's not extracted well My problem is that the extract doesn't come out of the top extraction area of Mocha Port naturally, and it pops like a volcanic eruption Barley particles are discharged together while being blown into the water, making them not clean It's the same if you try fine grinding particles and make them a little thick Do barley particles block the filter? Is there something wrong with the mocha pot? Is it a problem with barley? If you know anything about the above problem, I would appreciate it if you could let me know Thank you for allowing me to enjoy new flavors with useful videos Stay healthy!
Yeah, for all these drinks we know in the world, there is generally a cooking process and if you're going to grind a grain or bean (or coffee berry as it actually is I guess), then you must roast it first. So, I don't know :-)
I'm gonna make some roasted malted barely, grind the malted barely and coffee beans together, and make a coffee in Moka pot. I'll use one third malted barely.
What is that , a coffee maker ? A percolater ? And how is the taste of this drink. Why call it coffee when it is not coffee , you can call it a barley drink.
I came to learn about this drink and stayed cos you're molto bello. Let me know if you need a girlfriend to taste test your food 😂😂 but really thanks for the informative video
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato good for you! next time you wanna drink burned barley dust just buy the ready ones, instead of spending days burning and waiting for a less than fine product!

Really interesting, have you the recipe?
It's just the same just replace the barley with white rice

why is it necessary to wait two days before grinding and drinking?? thanks in advance.
I'm not sure, but I think it necessary to complete the process. 😆
