I didn't think 1 random Master Pack pull could do so much. Without Avramax, I imagine it wouldve been extremely difficult for Doug to deal with the tier 0 meta threat of HEROs from 1 Secret Pack
A lot of people seem to have missed this, asking why MBT didn't just bring out Chicken Game instead of Skyscraper, but because Avramax's effect increased its attack to higher than Great Tornado's, Skyscraper then activated to further increase Great Tornado by another 1000. It was in reality a big brain play by MBT, and would have actually worked if he had somehow reduced Avramax's attack to less than 1000 before attacking. Unfortunately, it still wasn't enough, but it at least makes the ending even funnier.
Every time a new episode comes out, I hope that both you and MBT pull the worst packs available. Hoping for Watts and Cloudian kinda match lol. This bad hero pack and s-force sounds like my kinda pack picks lol
Would love to see similar stuff too. But those bad archetypes need to came out in the similar time too cause bad archetypes nowadays are usually fairly strong against bad archetypes from like 10 years ago
Cloudians are actually pretty good casually. They can make Bahamut and Toad easily, make rank 4's in general really well, have access to tons of WATER and Fairy support, have okay protection build it, and can do some silly hand control stuff.

The 2nd duel would have been a very insane comeback if Dzeeff didn't have Avramax. . Btw, as S-force enjoyer, I love this video. Actually, Dog Tag is not really bad and I bring at least 1 to my deck. It's very helpful if you already have S-Force Chase in hand. You can add the dog to hand with Gravitino. Then in the opponent's turn, your dog can pursue the opponent's monster, and then flip your trap Chase to banish their monsters. And usually I put Pla-Tina and Gravitino in front of Extra Monster Zone, because that is unavoidable place for link monsters or "Auto placing" users. . Btw again, S-Force Justify is a bad boss monster. Please Konami gives a better boss for that team. He needs 3 materials in arctype that cannot summon a lot of monsters, and the main deck monsters have better effect in opponent turn. While the boss only has 1 monster negate and move. ATK 2600 is small, no protection, and his banish effect didn't work in opponent's turn. Keeping Gravitino, Pla-Tina, and Rappa is better than summoning their boss.
I have an idea for after you done a couple of these! You could hold a tournament between your friends where you use previous decks from the series to duel

I feel like for these super lopsided matchups, you should implement some kind of balancing system where the person with the worse secret pack get to pull an extra 5 packs. That way they have more chance to pull random actually playable cards from the master pack and not get as completely screwed by the rarities. An alternative would be to just let the person with the worse deck craft 1, maybe 2 cards from their secret pack. (although that's not as fun) The twitch chat could vote on when to use this catchup mechanic, to make it feel more systematic.

if you notice skyscraper did apply and boost by 1000, as mbt took 500 damage instead of the 1500 you'd expect avramax at 1500 attacked by 9000+ monster avramax applies, atk becomes opponent's atk +1500 so 1500 damage skyscraper applies, atk becomes current atk +1000 so only 500 damage
I still think this would be better if both of you could craft 1 card from the pack before opening, to guarantee the archetype can "kinda work" with a key card.

I support allowing MBT to use Poly. It let his deck actually try to do the thing it wants to do. I think that should be allowed for all Fusion archetypes.
You guys may have explained this already in a previous episode, but have you guys been taking off the archetypes you've spun on each episode? I'm only asking because I don't think repeats would be too interesting long-term
