As someone who plays both Plunder and Fur Hire for fun: I like Fur Hire more. Plunder doesn't get bodied by a single monster negate, but Fur Hire is so much more fun. And on top of Pure Fur Hire, Light of Sekka Fur Hires feat. Every Handtrap is jank but fun.
Furhires are actually pretty good, easy to flood the board with negates and depending on hand it can take 2 interuption but it is def their weakness. Really shine when they actually have link monsters to use though. Those plunders really bricked ya up though, not pitching the wiz to revive with mayhem made me sad though. Especially with 2 in hand they are a quickplay revive so even if they break one wiz you still have the second for either negate or second wiz.

I feel like a good change for the rules could be is you can exchange an ultra rare not in the pack for an ultra of your choice in the pack. Cause it can be kinda lame if you only get 1 or 2 ultras and they’re both unplayable cards not in pack.
I still can't understand why people continuously try to offer rules/tips to try to make decks more consistent when the whole purpose of this series is to get lucky. Lucky in the spin and lucky in the card opening. Seriously, if you want to see people play somewhat random packs and create consistent/good decks just go watch Dzeeff Master Saga.

I'm basically maxed out on all the playable fur hire monsters. I only didn't play the third Wiz, the bad level 5, and the bad level 3. I think if I could go back I might consider the Field Spell just for consistency but it's really slow
