- Welcome to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Roulette! In this series @MBTYuGiOh and I each spin a wheel featuring every Secret Pack in Master Duel. We then build decks using 20 of only those Secret Packs before playing a Match to determine that episode’s winner. The winner of each episode gets to decide if they want the first or second Secret Pack from the wheel during the next episode, but they must choose before seeing what the second spin lands on! Low-key my favorite part of the intro is MBT's name over Bandit Keith.
Wow, even with MBTs insane legendary run( biggest in any yugi series? ), the dragunity pulls and combos pulled off were wild for 20 packs.

@@rawrdino7046 An unplayable is a pack like soldiers of the storm which simply does not have enough main deck monsters to create an even remotely viable deck, or otherwise has some problem that simply makes it impossible to use in this format
@@rawrdino7046 The Numeron pack is almost entirely extra deck monsters, the Blue-Eyes pack doesn't have BEWD itself in it making most of it useless, and the Code Talker pack was removed for also being mostly extra deck monsters.
Man there’s just a pit in my stomach that forms when I look at the episode length and the first duel is wrapping up , with like 5 minutes left and I’m like you know I don’t think Doug is gonna win this one 🥴

Anyone ever hope that at the end of master roulette, that master roulette mirrored happens, which is where all the matches get replayed but they swap packs? I feel like it could be funny

Sometimes you open poorly because the necessary cards are high rarity and other times your opponent has IDP
In this case it was both those things.
I need this series to go on for 4096 episodes so we can get a pink Spheal once!

At this point I feel like Doug should be allowed to craft a UR every week to help even the playing field lol
There's two big reasons Ice Dragon's Prison is an obscene graveyard disruption tool:
1. The banish effect is optional, you can just use the thing you steal as fodder or a beatstick.
2. You don't have to banish the thing you stole for the banish effect, just 2 things with matching types from both sides. This is especially nasty in a mirror match, or with Zombie World or another type changer on the field.
The yugioh Gods are at the mercy of MBT with theses pulls

Coming to watch these is always akin to going to watch a Tear vs Rouge match: You hope the rouge can get a win, but know not to keep your expectations too high.

God, thanks for explaining the whole "from the pack" thing. I was going mad trying to identify differences in the animations or colours
You give MBT 10 packs and take 20 for yourself and MBT will pull up like: "Yeah, I got 3 of the URs and 2 of the SRs from out the pack! I also got every critical common and rare from both in and outside the pack as well. It was kinda... mid? I could've used a playset of Ash, I guess."
The episode should have been titled "Oh boy can we end on a holo?"

I was really hoping for the Dragunity episode since it's one of my favorite archetypes and I think it's pack is very good for a limited format even if Ravine is an UR. Gae Bulg is an N and together with Oubliette + enough GY setup it will be hard to get rid of without specifically monster destruction (which tbf Doug had with Ryko). But turns out when almost every single hand from MBT makes Areadbhair the game gets a little bit easier, even if he did try to outplay himself a lot in those games. It was not even close.

I saw a pretty interesting way to get lethal in game 1- If your Arma Gram negated the monster that had Aklys equipped, Aklys would trigger and destroy the face-down Ryko.
It is so tragic watching Doug stare down a hang where the best move is set a Ryko pass and then having it pass to MBT and watching him combo for 15 minutes
Lightsworn and Dragunity were the two decks that I played the most in MD by a lot, so nice to see them face off each other
A few of the Lightsworns are solo-locked, but not *too* many. But the big thing you needed was photon landing, since the deck generally lacks special summons.
This game reminded me why I love Dragunity and playing Dragunity in MD Duelist Cup, taught me why winning is more important than love. GGs
Ah yes, another beautiful episode of damn I lost another week, my favorite series
I'm a Dragunity player and i'm gonna say, i'm really impressed. When i saw the final deck MBT created, i was severely disappointed. It has WAY TOO MANY Dragunity monsters for how much Sycnchros he has, but when i saw it in action, i was pleasantly surprised. In the third game though, summoning Romulus 3 times in a row and wasting Arma Gram was completely unnecessary, but then again i summoned Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon against a defense fueled Cyberdark main deck cards for fun so who am i to judge. There were times where i wanted him to do different moves, but most of the time what he did area better options.
This is the only time where i'm happy that MBT won
Name ONE PERSON who's as good as Doug at setting and passing. Any series, any deck, any game. Truly, a generational talent.

Before I actually watch the pack opening, these two decks are literally my two favorite archetypes. So I am very, very excited.

Bruh I wish half my pulls were as good as MBT’s pulls man somehow managed to pull almost the entire core of a dragunity deck with 2000k gems
Oof, that was some bad luck. Lightsworn needs a very specific lineup of main deck cards to be anything decent, and they're almost *all* high rarity. Having to play Lightsworns with only one Lyla, one Lumina, one Solar Recharge, no Charge, props to Doug for doing his best. And he even would've been back in it game one if MBT hadn't had IDP exactly.
You can hear the life slowly leaving Dzeeff's mortal coil at another loss.

The first duel is genuinely cool. The double Wolf was hype as fuck but not enough, sadly. Honestly tho, The Codetalker pack isn't all unplayable. The N/R Code Talker monsters that can be tributed from hand are crazy good, Cynet Conflict is an R rarity card, and if Doug got an Accesscode that's a game ender.

Dzeeff, I think you could prove Yu-Gi-Oh is P2W by using your normal account for a bit, you probably have spent more time and money there, and also done the missions, so maybe doing all of those things make your luck better? I think it would be an interesting experiment.

Oof, hard to beat MBT's pulls (plus, I'm sure that Ten Minute Testing helps, since he's probably used to a larger variety of decks).
I know this kind of goes against the spirit of the series, but maybe it would be helpful to add a rule that both players can craft 3 N/R cards from the pack in addition to their pulls? I feel like it would really help to prevent situations where one key low-rarity card just doesn't get pulled and messes up the whole plan. Love the series, btw.
for those saying doug is bad, mbt literally had a deck that was so low rarity compared to doug in a format where u have to pull everything or else within one box tbh mbt had the better box there by far (both are good duelists also keep up the content mbt n doug :) )
