The 2019-20 Honda CB300R is a naked entry level bike that has the foundation to be a fun track day bike, so we thought let's make the track days better for this 286cc single cylinder bike.
Right off the bat the engine responded to our R-77 Race Series Works Finish full systems and slip-ons are perfect for keeping the dB levels at acceptable limits while providing the the great performance that the little Honda craves.
In performance testing the CB300R gained substantial numbers on our dyno adding performance across the entire spectrum with a 4.2% gain in peak HP and 3.0% peak torque. Lets head to the track!

I actually prefer the stock system on it....the nice induction note and revy with a lot of bass

Sucks honda dont make 4cyclinder 250cc bikes again. i hate these small cc thumpers
It's much cheaper for them to produce a single vs. a small 4

I like thumpers but I like 4 cyl small cc bikes also.
Some exhaust dont work well on single cyl bike.
4cylinder 250's are pretty much impossible to make these days. We just can't get them clean really. Besides at this displacement unless you have it rev to silly town you aren't really going to make more power with them which means they'd be hella expensive. What I'd like to see in an interesting 250-400 class bike is a crossplane parallel twin. Would still keep the costs low, but the sound and character would be massively improved.
@@EllaBananas Kawasaki now have a 4 cylinder 250cc. Australia has heaps of 250cc bikes. They are making a comeback.

Yeah, I thought it might help lower the pitch, but it just makes it sound poppy.. Like a little weed whacker engine
The Scorpion slip on sounds a lot better. Seems like all these carbon cans sounds terrible
My Grom with it's MNNTHBX low mount sounds a 1000x better.... Maybe MNNTHBX needs to make a Slip on for the 300R 🤪
@@ytascoobs Thanks for the heads up. Though in Yoshimura's defense, I just listened to this again with proper headphones on, and I feel a little silly for commenting about the bass earlier. Still doesn't sound quite like I thought it would, but definitely better.
I had this on my cb300f it sounds a bit better without the baffle.

Hi i want buy a CB 300r brand new ,can I install the r77 full exhaust from first day or i must to finish the first 1000 kilometres or not necessary ?? and needed to remapping or tune the ECU ???

Hi add , do you need to install Power Computer or remapping ECU for yoshimura r77 full system ?? Has the performance decreased?
No need for new ECU or Power Commander. Power is up with our system!
