Here are some helpful hints for testing in the future. :-) Keep Digging! 1. Tie strings to your objects with holes to allow easy retrieval when you wish to change targets. 2. Ground balance the Apex or other detector before the testing for more accurate VDI. 3. Test at different depths to compare detectors. Keep in mind, coil size and type ( concentric, DD etc.) matters. 3. Maybe a summary of results if you have different objects at different depths.
Great tips! This one was an older video I decided to finally upload, I can admit it wasn't the best! Just kind of an idea of gold VDI for the apex. I plan to do some more VS tests, maybe simplex vs apex next. And you are right about ground balance, for me I have never been one to GB when I'm out at the park I feel like every time I try to ground balance the machines get more chattery, maybe it's just me. Maybe a ground balance vs non ground balance test would be cool to see, see if there is much difference on the same target. Appreciate you leaving some feedback! I like to know how to improve, it's hard to know what people dislike about the videos when they leave no input just leave a thumb down so I appreciate you leaving some things that would improve the tests for the next time! 🤠
love your apex vids, i just bought my own. Many people talking bad on the apex but after all i like it. Used a whites coinmaster 4900 D before and it worked perfect, but was quite heavy...I didnt knew about the vanquish before, but since it doesnt have iron audio im good with the apex. In my eyes its best to only use the iron audio when you found a target id you are interested in, and especialy where to expect bottle caps. I dont know how the viper coil performs in comparison to a standard shape coil, i guess the viper shape might not be ideal but i have no comparisson. I will keep the apex for now but im still wondering what is better, apex or vanquish :/ best regards from germany !
To be honest I have never used the AT pro but I have heard it is a good, reliable machine... a lot of people kind of hate on the apex so you might want to look into it a little more... I think they are both machines capable of finding metal under the ground so it really comes down to preference and what you are looking for in a metal detector! The AT pro is waterproof where the ace apex is only weatherproof from rain... but the apex might work a little better on a saltwater beach because it is a multi-frequency machine.. just comes down to what you want! sorry for the long reply, appreciate you stopping by! 🤠
I have the APEX and appreciate the video, keep them coming.
Thanks for the video! I’m planning on getting a simplex soon and your channel has been my favorite channel to watch😀
Awesome!! I appreciate it! I think you can not go wrong with the Simplex, a super strong machine for the price!
Another informative video. Nice to see things buried and how depth changes. We all need to have a test garden
Appreciate it! I enjoy seeing how these different machines react 🤠
