Interesting breakdown! Always fun to look behind the curtains. Love when gear limitations lead to inspiration and unique sounds! And yes, more songs like this would be great, love it :)

@@BayMud I think lots of people like these kinds of things to be honest, it makes you more of a person than just another channel uploading songs.

Awesome. That’s the great thing about analog sequencers, synths, and tube amps. The frequencies are more organic creating one time artifacts that can’t always be duplicated.

Thanks! Yeah, it's fun to find the organic within the machines

some nice techniques, i don't resample enough on the D

Thanks! I only just started resampled more, as it helped me get a bit weirder without worrying about voice stealing. Also fun to layer multiple resamples of the same part, but treated differently

Thanks for sharing. Interesting insights on your findings, and, sometimes keeping it simple and with what you got goes a looooong way. Forces additional exploration with what is in front of you. Its certainly forcing me to learn (still on the learning curve) more my Deluge.

Thanks for watching. Yeah, keeping it simple can make for some interesting results (something I need to remember more often. Ha).

This is a great breakdown. The Deluge is so interesting to me, I have an old Casio that sounds JUST AWFUL and i've been looking for the right way to bring it into a composition. This moves the deluge up on my list for sure. thanks! (in spite of the gear acquisition warnings of this video)

Thanks! Yeah the Deluge is amazing. My need for gear dropped significantly after I got it. It also keeps getting new features too, to keep me busy. I've got a few old Casios kicking around too--I should get them involved more often.
