The way you take good care of those drums make me think that you were used to play drums in previous bands before heading to the electronic world 👀? Sweet insights of your process man. I'll have to dive deeper into this album. I like what I hear so far 🙏

Hey thanks! I appreciate your comment on the drums, as I come from a guitar background and struggle with drums the most usually. Looking forward to watching more of yours too

Cool to see how this one was made 👍 Miss having those multisamples on the Deluge, they're great 👌

Thanks! They become a bit of a crutch sometimes, as it's so easy to just use them instead of doing much sound design, but they can also be pushed pretty far

Great stuff! I’m not intimately familiar with the Deluge’s arranger (especially with how you color code things, which seems like a great idea). Enjoyed this video and would love to see a breakdown of your mastering process as well!

Thanks! Glad it was helpful. So many useful Deluge tips out there. I'll try to share more on how I organize things too. Mastering breakdown coming soon too!

@@BayMud besides, I still haven't managed to get Reaper to work with the audio units..🤔

@@melokit-music Oh! Do you use an interface? I use a Roland USB interface and record the Deluge into Reaper then add my mastering plugins, etc.

I’m going to second that hi-hat transpose is pretty swanky.

Thanks! I have a few other tracks where I use the LFO to do the work, which is easier than recording it manually, so I may do a video with that at some point.
