  • After becoming paralyzed, it is important to keep the muscles in your arms stretched out by doing range of motion exercises, especially if you push a manual wheelchair. In this video, I show arm stretches that I've been doing every day since coming home from the hospital and can be done in as little as six minutes a day. What arm stretches do you do?

    My son is c2-c5 he’s still pretty early in recovery but tone is a massive problem as he’s extremely stiff arms and they are can’t relax! Have you always been able to move your arms aswel as this or has it been a process??

      @masonx54  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I was not able to move my arms like this in the beginning. I have been doing these same arm stretches everyday now for 8 years.

      I stretch my legs every morning before getting out of bed and stand for at least 30 minutes every day in my standing frame. Both help prevent spasms and I no longer take spasm medication. Watch this video showing my standing routing: th-cam.com/video/0ylylm0QlZM/w-d-xo.html
