"I will be the onslaughtest, cause I'll be slaughting twice." Josh is living proof that anyone who wants to play this game can just hop in and play it. Fairly high level, most of the way through the campaign, non optimal build, stacks redundant unique effects because they're cool/fun. Some people optimize the fun out of games, while Josh somehow unoptomizes the fun back into them.
Nooooo way, not only did he actually leave act 1 , he's grinded most of the campaign, He's hooked! I remember for me it took a few attempts at this game over the years before it clicked and then that was it, I would be playing at night only to notice it has gone light outside like used to happen when I was a kid. This game is a fun factory when it gets going. Beware!
Hes definitely not. Hes just fulfilling his duties as a gamer and containt creater for finishing atleast campaign. Take my word for it he wont even make it to maven.
Bit sad we didn't see his reaction to losing to Kitava at the end of Act 5 and then going back to Lioneye's watch. That's a great moment for new players.
Pro tip~ LESS is a multiplier like MORE but it makes you do..... get this.... less damage. If you stack multiple less modifiers you can cut you're damage down to almost nothing. Both the totem support and the GMP added less multipliers, so you cut the totems damage by around an extra GOBAL 30% on top of the 40% or so from the totem support. Only use the totem support~
Even though it annoys me how little optimization Josh puts in his build, it annoys me more that everyone is telling him to look up a guide. I'm with him, play the game how you want. Making errors is part of the fun and it helps understanding the mechanics. You will most likely run into a wall at some point and most likely will not create a end-game feasible build, but the next character will be so much better because of this. Unless you run a hardcore character, your new character will benefit from the items your first character found and speed up the levelling campaign process. A couple of hints for new players. - IF you want o use a guide, I recommend looking for a SSF (Solo Self Found) feasible guides. A lot of the non-SSF, rely on specific items, which you will have to trade for in most cases. - Use a movement skill-gem. They are very helpful when dogging attacks and allow you to sue short cuts. Also, use a quicksilver Flask for the campaign. - You don't have to engage with all the mechanics in the game (Only the labyrinth maybe, because of the Ascendancy ). The one you encounter during the campaign are just introductions, they start to get relevant for endgame and even then you don't need to do all of them.
3:08:45 i finished skyrim many many times and even done pure archer build and hybrid archer/warewolf build and still never done sneak archer. Run and gun better than being sneaky
42:00 dont worry Josh, Im also a unique slut. But rather than using them, I just stockpile them to the point where I have 5% stash space free for other junk, and 95% is occupied by uniques I'll never use but hoard like a dragon.
I don't get why Quillrain is supposed to be so great. I got one around level 30-40. It was very fast, but the damage was a fraction of my other bow and enemies took forever to die. I put it back in the stash.
I'm certain I could make an AutoHotkey script that provided WASD movement in POE. It would be pretty easy to do and would be a very light-weight script. In fact, I'd be kind of surprised if someone hasn't done so already. I don't have POE, so I could not try it out. But I did this for BG3 in under 20 min. A real programmer could probably do it in 5 min. I understand that POE players use the mouse to move, but could someone elaborate on that? Do you click where you want your character to move to? Or can you hold down a mouse button to make your character move towards the mouse-cursor? The better you explain it, the easier it will be to make a script to supplement this shortcoming of the game.
@@Buggolious You'd need to define "hold". Hold _what?_ Do you mean _'hold down the left mouse button'?_ If so, does your character always move at the exact same speed, no matter how much distance is between them and mouse-cursor? Or can you adjust your characters speed by moving the mouse-cursor closer-to/further-from your character? Thank you for the reply by the way.
On the respect convo~ I think it's a societal problem, for years even decades now people have been taught that respect is to be given for personal, subjective or innate thing's. People want respect for their, race, sexuality, political beliefs, mental illnesses ect~ It's the horrifying end of confusing tolerance with respect and acceptance. Also to the commenter that said toxic masculinity is bottling up you're emotions, I can speak to that.. having been abused , raped and groomed as a child... being an open book and being overly emotional is NOT what people want to hear from men and that biological fact is not going to change any time soon and I don't think it should. When men share overly or get to emotional it's a natural thing for people to be turned off, that does not mean dealing with no problems... just that men should not fall into the trap of gushing o the world instead of a select few people.

We need a stream where Josh has green face paint - and his face is transparent. Just eyes, mouth, and a sweater. xD
I've had that nightmare.

@@sachinjungade9265 well hes playing ssf so maven would be kinda crazy lol
"Grandpa dropped loot" killed me 💀
Just is so great at commentary and humor, that the painful build and stash actually make the stream better.
when he learns that you can set different tabs to accept different category of items using affinities...

Why would you want to cut damage? That seems counterproductive. If you need more difficult just raise the level, no?
You have a Divine Orb in your stash Josh, they are very rare and used to trade for strong items.
act 9 with 600hp. based

Josh is right, we gamers don't need energy drinks, we need water and vitamin D supplements. 🤣
Josh's video game that he is actively playing is his own second monitor content.
Josh has found out the most overpowered PoE strat: LOGIN DUDE
Unascended ranger path to 100, lesgo
Actually impressed you got 71 without doing ascensions, you are gonne go mad at the power you missed already :D just awesome content as usual :D
hi Josh
just for the algo. thanks for the fun! cheers!

Does Josh know about the endgame and does he plan to engage with it? Is this his first run of the campaign?
He's played many times, but he never gets time to get further than act 1 usually.

you hold to the way you want to go, the character always goes in a straight line to your cursor

No way he is in Act 9! Cant wait for him to discover the atlas!
Be warned game gets preeeetty crazy later on. That 1k life may be not enough :)
Best thing about watching Josh play PoE is the totally UN-optimised build he uses based purely on what's fun. 😁
1:29:36 - 6 months of All I Want for Christmas by Mariah Carey? No thank you, Josh. NO THANK YOU!!
Keep toxic rain on totems, use caustic arrow as second skill, u gonna be able to shoot from a distance while totems do the thing they do.
Only face floating would be really meta
Dilf era ❤
I can't wait for OSRS!
36:08 Asmongold and me and few other player totally agree with this one :
let's be fair my family doesn't have WASD movement PoE 2 will . LOVE IT :D
My issue with POE is the fact that I've played so much hardcore that softcore is no longer satisfying, and hardcore is too much of a time investment.
"People will tell me I need defense"
These people are hardcore players. But you really don't need defense in softcore, just go full glass cannon.
Josh you ultragoober you
He need to play flicker strike
I'm not gay but I'd be gay for Josh
Josh is so freakin cute I swear
do the basics, learn nuance when it's too late
