Basically you don't even necessarily need an attack skill like the skulls. Any skill affecting enemies directs your minions. Mostly I use an area curse for that. and you can alter your minions nature between being agressive and defensive. I often give my spectres and carrion golem the feeding frenzy support gem for that.

Everyone knows if you run into an emergency requiring a Lifesprig, and you get chased to town and open your stash and pick a tab at random before getting hit, that you always had a 50/50 chance of picking the right tab; it either has a Lifesprig in it, or it doesn't.
I am german and the parents of my sisters husband are so efficient. They don't even tell you they are leaving. They just leave. Like at some point of my sister's wedding we were like "where are them?" They just disappeared.
