We’ve loved our time with #finalfantasy16 so far - 50 hours in and after seeing the end credits, we still have lots of stuff left to do in New Game Plus. The game does tell you this but please, please, please use Garuda's embrace when you've staggered an enemy to 50%. If you grab them with this ability during the brief stagger, you increase that their stagger time in that moment by a good several more seconds. So useful.

This Got me through most of the game. I finally let it go when I got Odin. I didn’t use garudas other abilities I put mastered riding flame and pile drive on her

Upgrade deadly embrace to the highest level. It's the easiest way to cheese the game. If an enemy doesn't have an aerial attack or projectile, there is no way they can harm you. Easiest way to cheese bosses. Combine it with will o wisp and it easily defeats everything. Just keep spamming deadly embrace

Helpful tip if you don't know, the Ring of Timely Strikes when equipped will automate Torgal so you don't have to wear Ring of Timely Assistance so it will open up an accessory slot. Took me awhile to figure that one out.

Easy way to cheese any large enemies is to use will of wisp and spam deadly embrace. Deadly embrace will keep you up in the air and enemies won't be able to hit you unless they have projectiles or aerial attacks. Works for bosses too.

Spam Garuda's embrace for hard bosses to evade aoe attacks, instead of just evading.

These are all features the game tells you about from the beginning 😩 thanks for some battle strategy around the 12 minute mark though. I like combining the fire orbs and electric rod thing for continual damage.
