I found your review extremely accurate, thanks! ONE Very Important FACT. I personally have never encountered a failure to feed, failure to eject, and my particular 365 has never double fed a rounds, ever. If it had regularly, I would not carry it. My opinion as many others have stated, 0 isues with 1500, 2000, 3000 and more rounds with out 1 of any of those issues. Full disclosure, I own and am a "Glock Man". Love My 17's !9's 26's, they are reliable every one, however I do Have to say the gun that leaves the house with me every day?? The Sig P365.
I have had my p365 xl for about 2 years as my EDC and 2 k rounds including FMJ and duty ammo from 50 grains to 150 . 2 - 12 round mags converted to 14 , 1 15 , and a 17 round mags. Not a single malfunction 😎
I've heard it said that you can save yourself headaches by not buying a used P365 or P320. Changes have been made over the years to increase reliability. If anybody is tempted to buy a used one, call SIG and give them the serial number to find out when it was made. I would probably feel relatively safe buying one made 2021 and later but, I might want to do some more research first too.
Splendid review! I bought my P365 in 2019 and it has NEVER failed to feed or fire. Personally, I think the exclusive use of high quality ammo makes all the difference with the 365. I have only 1 self-defensive gun-the 365-and it has tasted only 1 brand of ammo and has never malfunctioned. I also have had Glocks, and we all know that they’re not particular with what you feed them. However, because the 365 is designed like a mini sewing machine, you have to treat it as such (e.g., only feed it the best needles and threads). If you do, you will get optimal performance. BTW, I counted at least 4 times that you used some form of the word “magic” while describing the design of the P365. Very complimentary! Thanks for the great review!
I own the P365Xl now for 4.5yrs with approx. 5k rounds put down the barrel. I find quality loads it is EXTREMELY RELIABLE. I prefer Underwwod Defenders 65gr (High ft pds, fast cycle, extreme speed, low recoil) or Winchester Super X 115gr. Never a failure to feed, never a misfire....extremely accurate. UNDERWOOD IS MY FAVORITE RD..
Oh yeah! I feed my P365 nothing but Underwood Extreme Defender 68 gr. +P ammo. I use their platinum coated ammo. I’ve had my 365 since 2019 and I’ve never had a misfire, failure to feed, or any other type of problem. I carry it in a 3Speed holster.
I have owned 3 P365s, currently have a .380 and a 9mm P365 X Comp. Have never experienced a failure to extract or any other kind. Expect limp wristing more likely cause that gun design. 😊
I have my 365xl for almost 2 years now it’s my most carry, I take to the range every few weeks put a box of ammo through it and I do my best to try different types of ammunition, so far about 1000-1100 rounds through it no issues as of yet. Quick disclaimer I do keep it clean, just like my other tools, holster, or other type of scratches don’t bother me as long as it works.
I own a 365 …only one minor issue …it has 12 round magazine..sometimes it tough getting that 12th round in magazine so I just go with 11 rounds ..I the gun is perfect size for carry purpose ..took some time to get used to the no manual safety great reliable gun
I haven't had any problems with my 365. Accurate, very reliable. Love the ergonomics. The only problem I've had is rusting at the base of the mags. I sanded and painted with rustoleum paint. So far so good.
I had the same problem, but the rust was about mid-way up the mag. It was my fault because I never take off my gun unless, of course, I’m showering or sleeping. Anyway, I do lots of yard work in the hot Texas sun, so sweat rubs onto the handle and finds its way into the mags. Sig cleaned out my gun and I replaced the mags. Won’t do that again. So now I carry in a 3Speed holster, which is designed, in part, to keep any part of the gun from touching your body; it’s also extremely comfortable to wear.
I've been carrying the standard base model P365 for 2.5 yrs and have never experienced any type of malfunction. I shoot it well and love its size for EDC. I still like my G26, but only use it as a 2nd choice/backup for EDC.
Nice review. However, you didn't mention the fact that the P365 is a modular design where the FCU can be dropped into a different frame, along with the standard slide and you now have a different gun. I have oversized hands and wear XXL gloves, so for a better grip I dropped the modular P365 FCU into a Wilson Combat P365XL frame. I added their tungsten weights to lesson the "snappiness" and customized the 12 round mags with Mag Guts plus 2 magazine kits. So now the set up is a 14 plus 1. The sights are dovetailed into the slide, so they can be easily changed and trigger swaps are easy as well, but I like the standard trigger as you did, so I kept it stock. Customizing your firearms is a good thing, and this gun makes it easy.
Have a P365 with manual safety. Maybe 1000 rnds through it. No misfeeds, jams or any malfunctions. I clean it religiously after 100 rnds. No finish wear and the slide to frame fit is tight no rattle. Changed the trigger from the hook to a flat. It did take a while to get used to but I can get quarter sized hits with 50 rounds did on at 10 - 12 yards. You have to watch your trigger possition and pressure otherwise it will drift to the right. Basically its near perfect.
Love my P365 and 365XL, great little guns, but have moved on the the Taurus GX4 and never looked back.Just a terrific gun and the ergonomics are outstanding.
why would moving down to a budget line from a premium product be "moving on"? Yknow what I think? I think you never had a sig to begin with because you couldnt afford it. You bought what you could afford and because you have it you tell yourself its the "best option". I see this all the time. And I'm by no mean a Sig fan either. I prefer Glock and Springfield. But Glock, SA, and Sig are all top premium brands......Taurus....I mean I seen some gangbangers who rely on drug sales use em I guess?
The P365 is a remarkable pistol, I bought my 1st one right after they started making them again after the sticker issues. The gun has had a number of minor refinements, although Sig will not tell you, that have made it even better today. I currently have the X, XL Spectre, and 380. Great little gun and my triggers range from 4.3 to 4.5 pounds and are smooth. However, some triggers are gritty and so I would try them before buying.
@@dennisl4000 Thanks and I expected it to be lower recoil and sure, not as powerful as 9mm but with todays way better defense loads than we had 30 years ago, it could be a good choice for people like me that have older and weaker hands. On the downside is the expense of 380 ammo today, it is crazy.
Never had a double feed with any of my P365s. That said, I also do not have my thumbs parallel and next to the side like so many current shooters seem to do.
I have been shooting my P365XL for over a year and had no problems using the cheapest ammo I can find, carry with Hornady Critical duty don't remember the grain was thinking of a green dot but I shoot it well and like not losing the irons a dot
I just purchased my P 365 Sauer, it fits my hand perfectly! I too do not like where the magazine break down is. Other than that, I love this pistol and its performance! Mine at 15 yrds. holds a pattern of 10 shots, in a 4 1/2" circle no problem! Great shooting pistol, I highly recommend it, you'll not want to put it down! (Glen). WV.
My 365 story, I loved mine until I started defensive training with it. Failure to stop drill were all but impossible. A gun that small with full power defensive loads is almost uncontrollable at speed. I started renting guns that were bigger and found them to be far more shootable at speed. That is until I rented a 365-380. Without exception this is the most shootable of all the 365s! Fast, flat, and accurate on a level no 9mm can match. With Underwood Extreme Defender ammo the gun is far more capable as a self defense weapon than any of the other 365 models.
For you perhaps. The 9 mm is a far superior round. This is why law enforcement agencies across the country limit them to use off duty or as a secondary weapon. The guys in the video seem to have complete control and so do all the cops at the range.
Double feed is a disaster when considering the dedicated use of this firearm...it is the reason wheel guns go bang...if you need it to go bang and clearing a dud is simply addressed with a DA trigger pull then that has to be where logic leads.
just cant get past the price. especially when there are plenty of cheaper options out there with the same or better quality. the Canik mete, Hellcat, and the 43x all come to mind.
What else would you recommend similar to the P365 Marco or Sig at all. Given their response to rust, mag's finishing peeling off and horrible quality control from several TH-camr's I'm looking for another system similar to them. I just can't take the chance being a soon to be new gun owner for me and my family. Thanks for the great video's. They have been very helpful in learning to making a very complicated decision.
Surface rust or finish coming off a magazine is not the end of the world. These are carry guns and tools, not museum pieces. If you sweat a lot and live in a hot, humid climate, surface rust isn’t abnormal. Just need to clean and oil it more often. Are there other guns that may not need as much TLC? Sure. Doesn’t make the 365 a bad gun. A little surface rust on the exterior of slide won’t keep it from maybe saving your life.
I’ve seen several other good and very knowledgeable TH-camrs not only show the mags rusting and they r in dry climates. but The Guns themselves (Slide) are rusting out. They had customer service on the phone who said they won’t cover rust and now left with a useless gun they can’t sell or use. Do as u wish but that’s not the kind of “Customer service” I expect from any company no less one with the reputation of Sig. That’s just not something I’m going to take a chance on especially as a soon to be new gun owner. H&K, Glock, S&W, Canik, CZ and several others would immediately send a new gun and mags without question.
Sorry I love the Titan Taurus 380 hammer safety trigger safety mid size looks like. Beretta 9 mm have hit a target 🎯 out to 200 yards with 10 inch of rize that ring. Of steel. At the end as a lead found it mark. Good old. days.
How many rounds were fired before your first double feed? How often did you clean? Only asking because I've fired around 600 rounds through mine and yet to have any malfunctions.
I'm just trying to get past paying 600 bucks when I can get 2 Taurus G series guns for that. The Taurus also has double strike capability and can use Sig P226 and P228 mags, that's a good thing.
I HAVE 3 MAGS AND NEVER HAD THOSE MENTIONED ISSUES.2 10-1 AND A 12-1. AMMO WOLF STEEL SHELLS, WINCHESTER 115 BALL, AND WINCHESTER USA READY 124 +P HOLLOWPOINT. 400 ROUNDS NO PROBLEMS.
I'm a new gun owner. So I may not have a clue what I'm saying. But isn't the original P365 curved? And all the other ones flat? How could they be compared but like I said i'm new l o l
Ive been really liking my p365 but the other day at of 150 rounds i had 4 f ailure to fire. I hope it was just the ammo not the gun.It was browning loads. The primer had a perfect center strike.I feed them again and 3 of four fired.Has anyone had that issue
Man! Your Manuel of Arms to clear a FTF is all wrong. Drop the mag, rack the slide twice, insert the mag, bump the mag, and rack the slide to load the weapon. I have the Sig P365XL ROMEOZERO and have never had the problems you cite. My everyday laod is SPEER GOLD DOT 124gr JHP +P ammo . And that has been through 500 rounds.
Got a 365 …rarely jams ,,and when it does it’s always been bad ammo .but I wish my 365 had an external paddle saftey like you can get with the newer version ..its a gun you shouldn’t use if you have bad shooting habits …I wouldn’t recommend the model 365 either no external safety to new shooters ..but that’s just my opinion
I own The 365, 365XL, The Macro, I just Built another 365, what normally do is Buy The Wilson Combat Grip Module, The Barrel, Rail, Magazine. Ivan Build one for less Then $400
I have nothing but good things to say about mine. It has been great to shoot and has handled ooohhh...around 5 thousand rounds or so at this point. (Owned for about two years). One thing I will say is that I've had two trigger springs wear out so far. I agree with the narrator that I feel much more confident in taking challenging shots than I do with other my other small pistols. I'm more of a compact fan than any other pistols so a 365xl was exactly where I wanted to be when I decided to get a different carry pistol. I'm getting a second one as soon as I can.
Bogus click bait video. I've owned and shot Glocks for the last 20 years. Have owned and shot Sig's for the last 20 years. Most recently I've had Sig P365's in multiple variants for the last 4 years, with hundreds of rounds fired through multiple guns, with zero malfunctions or issues. If there was a systemic issue with the Sig P365 I would have experienced it by now.
😢Its important to understand that there will always be the possibility that there can be a failure once in a while. Why does that mean every single one of them is junk? Try to please everyone and you'll piss someone off. Sig makes some of the finest weapons sold, they've been around a lot longer than glock. I have nothing against Glock, but I'd rather have a sig, i already have a glock, and I'm not impressed. I believe CZmakes a better pistol than Glock, any doubts. Go to a few pistol matches, you'll see a lot of CZ shadows but i doubt you'll see a Glock in competition. Now we have CAD/CAM and competent engineers, there are very few bad guns.Be thankful we still have a choice.
Seems to me your being unfair to the Shield because the plus a 10 - 13 and 15 round magazines. If you have posted this 3 years ago you would be right . Don't pass on false information
I don't think there is anything wrong with a paid promotion, but IMHO, having Line45 present this Sig-produced video as a personal review is a bit deceptive. That being said, I just ordered a P365 to replace an LCP Max. I sure hope it turns out to be as reliable as this _"It's as if there is some sort of magic at play"_ advertisement promises. 😁 The info about the double feed malfunction was surprising - and disappointing.
This is all common knowledge. This is nothing more than reading off specs from Sig and taking stock footage from other creators and marketing. Do you actually have any new info of your own?🤦🏼♂️
Pretty repetitive review and the word magical was used at least 3 times in this video. I do love my P365XL Specter Comp a lot. Added a Holosun 507K X2 and it’s even more golden! No issues with this gun so far.
This comment about the “mother of all malfunctions” is flawed. It is a failure to extract, not a double feed. Also, clearing this malfunction is as easy as, remove the mag re-insert the mag and rack the slide. Easy…..
No one's telling you firing pin is plastic with metal tip. Sold mine after I cleaned after 500 rounds and found this out. I only use all metal firing pins. Also my 365 was not accurate like my Shield or other 9mm guns. Sights were mediocre
I have to say when you call the trigger is phenomenal, I question the whole review. Its an ok or acceptable trigger but not anywhere near great. Walther has a great trigger that makes this trigger feel like a huge downgrade and I wouldnt call it phenomenal.

How many rounds were fired before your first double feed? How often did you clean? Only asking because I've fired around 600 rounds through mine and yet to have any malfunctions.
Love my 365 XL such a fine firearm
All that good stuff and it fires itself for you too. Big win
This gun looks suspiciously like a Ruger SR9c. It appears to be the same gun with a few styling changes. And the SR9c is basically a Glock-based gun.
How to get the slide to unfreeze due to setting up and like life if quit movement you get stuck hgh
Ivan Build one for less Then $400
I know many cops that carry the p365 off duty. No issues at all.
380 or 9mm?
I have nothing but good things to say about mine. It has been great to shoot and has handled ooohhh...around 5 thousand rounds or so at this point. (Owned for about two years).
One thing I will say is that I've had two trigger springs wear out so far.
I agree with the narrator that I feel much more confident in taking challenging shots than I do with other my other small pistols.
I'm more of a compact fan than any other pistols so a 365xl was exactly where I wanted to be when I decided to get a different carry pistol.
I'm getting a second one as soon as I can.
My XL ran 1500 rounds later, no jams before first cleaning, terrible. Next
and it goes bang on its own .. can not beat that
That’s the 320 or m17
@@jlinka79 320 is said to that
P365 mag is almost identical to Glock 26, just not coated in thick plastic.
Although a great gun, It’s really not that mysterious as TH-camrs say.
"Glock Perfection"... Always 2-3 steps behind progressive evolution of defensive tools.
ZERO FEEDING ISSUES
A double feed malfunction is not minor. No excuse for such an expensive weapon, I’ll stay w/S&W or Glock.
If you're having malfunction are you shooting reloads? It don't like reloads.
If you get the x,xL ,YOU JUST GETTING A GLOCK 19 SIZE GUN,AND MAY AS WE
WHAT P365 ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THAT YOU EXPERIENCE AN EXTRACTION PROBLEM?
Where to buy gas and bbs near 38117
Seems to me your being unfair to the Shield because the plus a 10 - 13 and 15 round magazines. If you have posted this 3 years ago you would be right . Don't pass on false information
I don't think there is anything wrong with a paid promotion, but IMHO, having Line45 present this Sig-produced video as a personal review is a bit deceptive.
That being said, I just ordered a P365 to replace an LCP Max. I sure hope it turns out to be as reliable as this _"It's as if there is some sort of magic at play"_ advertisement promises. 😁
The info about the double feed malfunction was surprising - and disappointing.
Is this a Gus Fring voiced AI video or something?
I don’t know what trigger is this guy talking about because the trigger on my p365 is garbage. It fills like a mile of travel before it fires
No issues with this gun so far.
thanks
Great audio, but failed with the video matching the audio commentary. There was no reason to watch the video at all. It might as well been a podcast.
YOU ARE CHOKING THE GUN BECAUSE IT'S NOT EASY TO ENGAGE THAT MAG RELEASE. PUT HOLLOW POINT THROUGH IT.
😂I would like to meet someone in 38117 area to help with my p365 air pistol.
I have two 365's, thousands of rounds, not one failure of any kind. Ive never heard of anyone but you have failures.
It still has striker drag. I will stick with Glock. Thanks.
Wow, you are all over the place. This video is very misleading. I mean you can hardly tell what model you’re talking about…
This comment about the “mother of all malfunctions” is flawed. It is a failure to extract, not a double feed. Also, clearing this malfunction is as easy as, remove the mag re-insert the mag and rack the slide. Easy…..
Could be wrong, but I believe this is a ripoff of Colion Noir's review.
This gun has too many operator errors... don't buy it. Otherwise its excellent
Obsolete video in many respects , nobody compares a micro 9 with a Glock 43, found this whole video more like a Sig commercial 👎
Have owned m a P365 for 3 years now with at least 1k rounds down range. Never had a malfunction. Furthermore, I find this AI voice irritating.
I have 2,000 flawless rounds thru mine...
YOUR P365 review? Looks like a lot of videos of OTHER P365 reviews. No thx.
I love mine
Agreed. Love my P365 and P365XL. Both great shooters right out of the box.
You sound like Darth Vader's daughter!
misleading clickbait title - everyone has been saying this
Guy sounds like AI
machine-made videos need to be banned
Yeah but I got 15 rd PSA mags for my 43x at half the price of a 10rd 365x mag.
SIG OFFERS 15 ROUND MAGS,12 ROUND MAGS, AND 10 ROUND MAGS, SO WHAT YOU MISSING?
Not missing the price of sig mags
@@snowfort77 THEY LAST ME OVER 30 YEARS, ON MY P226.Buy cheap crap, and aftermarket mags, and end up with feeding issues. Same problem I'm having with my 1911 and ed brown mags. Remember you carrying that gun for your protection. You do not target shooting with it.,
Click bait headline and blah blah blah
Robotic voice and poor grammar hinders the delivery of the presentation. Hard pass
Your graphics are very annoying.
yea a lot of them weren't even of the p365
