I have been skydiving 7 times so far. It's always tandem jumps with an instructor strapped to my back so I have an expert on hand at all times lol. That alone is even better than sex. I shit you not. I've had a lot of great sex, but I'd still pick skydiving any day. Now, that being said, I'd imagine that guys who do this all the time, that pretty much EVERYTHING else in life has to be just an insanely raging bore lol. I mean seriously they, for all intents and purposes, are flying like Superman! I mean yeah they're falling but it will feel like you're flying without a vehicle. What else could ever even possibly be that amazing except maybe standing on the moon?

The thing I love about Rio de Janeiro is the fact that you have two different Rio's. -A Urban Rio (buses/undergrounds/shops/beaches) aimed to tourism purposes -And a Wild Rio (Jungle/nature/Tijuca Forest/Morros) aimed to adventure purposes.
Watching “Fly”,a recent documentary film about base jumping brought me here. It takes a certain kind of fearless mentality to jump off of high mountains (or from planes or helicopters) and, well, just fly. My heart was in my mouth watching this and I had to remind myself that I was seated safely on my sofa!! 😂
I haven't been in a wing suit yet, but I have been skydiving 7 times. I'm not qualified to go by myself yet so I've had a professional strapped to my back like a backpack so it's extra safe. It's fucking AMAZING! If you haven't tried you should. It's not wingsuit flying but it's incredible. Our highest juno was 21,500 ft. We had to have air tubes on the way up. Normally it's 10,000 to 14,000 ft. Since I've been several times I'll ask them to do something different so they'll have me sit on the floor with my legs dangling out the door and we'll do a few flips right out of the gate. It's one of the most amazing things anyone can ever do.
One of my life dreams is to get in a wingsuit and fly, even tho I would probably be too scared to jump. If that is the case, I will ask someone to push me because i will not miss that opportunity. I have always wanted to fly, see the clouds, see the world from so high up and being in control, being able to feel like nothing ever mattered and see just how beautiful the world is.
You have to well prepare like eagle before doing this small mistake cost your life even it’s look easier but it will take around 12 step process to learn whole process of wing suits if mistakenly you forgot how you want to flow your hand then seriously any thing happen straightaway.
I wish you all the luck if you by chance get to experience it, above all you have to believe in your self and believe that you can do it. Even though i know nothing about this "sport" i presume, the concept looks interesting and i would too love to do it sometime in my life if i could or if i made some effort and preparations beforehand. And i share similar aproach as you wrote in your main comment.

I'm 62 years old ride jet skis water ski and all that fun stuff but this looks like it's so much better. I own a piece of property East Los Gatos the top of the mountain is 3400 ft I might want to jump off of that. God bless you for the inspiration.
I'd love to try this but how advanced is it? You'd need to do so many tandem jumps before you can even jump solo so this must take a lot of time and effort.
***** One jump would be an achievement for me. 500 times is a ridiculous amount of jumps. The amount of money it would cost to do that I could buy myself a house.
